Trump Denounces Globalism At UN; Leaders Laugh At Him

POTUS said the U.S. rejects “global governance, control, and domination”

By Steve Watson | Infowars.com Wednesday, September 26, 2018

President Trump denounced aggressive globalism and championed sovereignty at his address before the United Nations General Assembly Tuesday, prompting other world leaders and dignitaries to burst into laughter.

Noting that the United States will continue to follow the ‘doctrine of patriotism’, Trump said that the US rejects “global governance, control, and domination.”

Trump asserted that the US will always respect the right of every nation to pursue its own customs, beliefs, and traditions, and will never impose on such traits.

“The U.S. will not tell you how to live and work or worship,” President Trump said. “We only ask that you honor our sovereignty in return.”

“We reject the ideology of globalism and we embrace the doctrine of patriotism,” he added.

Trump pointed to UN created bodies such as the International Criminal Court and the Human Rights Council and stated “As far as America is concerned, the ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy and no authority.”

Trump denounced leftist driven globalism, stating that “Virtually everywhere socialism or communism has been tried, it has produced suffering, corruption, and decay.”

“Socialism’s thirst for power leads to expansion, incursion, and oppression.” Trump added.

“Sovereign and independent nations are the only vehicle where freedom has survived, democracy has ever endured, or peace has ever prospered.” Trump urged.

Speaking of his administration, Trump claimed that “in less than two years my administration has accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.”

He added that that the days of America being taken advantage of are over, saying that “we will no longer tolerate such abuse,” and adding that he will no longer allow the US to be “cheated and our wealth to be plundered.”

In response to Trump’s words, other leaders laughed in his face, prompting the President to say he “didn’t expect that reaction but that’s OK.”

The US media was upset, not at the the fact that Trump’s America First speech was laughed at by the UN assembly, but that he was representing the US at all.

CNN host Don Lemon declared that Trump’s “bubble was burst on the world stage, literally,” and that the President “really, really doesn’t like being laughed at.”

“The President of the United States is a man who prides himself on being a winner, a man who brags about his strength and being a fighter. A man who never met a red carpet he didn’t like and basks in praise and cheers.” Lemon said.

After playing the clip of the UN laughing at Trump, Lemon said “That is what happens when you continually go back to the well of adoring crowds and supporters. Reality suddenly just smacks you in the face.”

“World leaders essentially telling the emperor he has no clothes.” Lemon continued, adding “Laughter was the last thing President Trump expected when he made that boast. You heard him say so. He said it himself. Leaders from around the world definitely did not respond with the kind of reaction that he’s used to getting from crowds of supporters at campaign rallies.”

Meanwhile, MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski complained that because of Trump, America has become “the butt of a big joke.”

“I think it was a significant moment. What you saw there tells you a lot of how the world leaders see Donald Trump. And they are openly laughing at him. At his tweets, and his loyalty oaths, at his sexism, and his makeshift meetings with dictators, at his lies and his reality show policies, aren’t they? The world is laughing at the President of the United States.” Brzezinski said.

Unfazed, Trump continued to tout his administration’s achievements Wednesday:

Consumer confidence hits an 18 year high, close to breaking the all-time record. A big jump from last 8 years. People are excited about the USA again! We are getting Bigger and Richer and Stronger. WAY MORE TO GO!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 26, 2018

Jobless Claims fell to their lowest level in 49 years!

He might want to give that same message to our own .Gov and the IMF, World Bank, Bank of International Settlements, Fed Reserve, etc.

"To achieve One World Government it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, their loyalty to family traditions and national identification."
~ Brock Chisholm, when director of UN World Health Organization
