Lurkers are members in stealth mode, click on the faq link at the top of the page and it will explian.

I wish more would introduce themselves and say hi.

something tells me that lurkers are not likely to stand in front of a bridge with a rifle i their hands singing hymns as fedcoats approach, but that is just what the real founders of america did.

Damn you Fedcoats throw down your weapons and disperse. [cross]

<img src=" title="" src="graemlins/laugh.gif" /> Yep. And maybe one of us will find a way to french fry an ice cube. Let me know how it works out.

Time to put the welding helmet on, and go make my daily bread. Later.

I checked this site out too and didn't post for a long time. Until I joined a militia.

I won't be standing right in front of the bridge and I won't be singing hymns.

I will be hiding in the underbrush just off to the side thinking mean nasty thoughts though, hehehe.

That reply was from 2002, many of us still had hopes of restoring freedom in America, now I am just committed to die fighting rather than by torture in camp X-ray.

Wow, STRATIOTES. You held out in hope till 2002. Patience of steel. Around 2002, most of the people I have associated with since high school in my little ignoramus town had already deemed me a traitor for my dissent. It is then that I knew I would be facing this alone in my neck of the woods. Funny, how Texans talk so tuff, and brag about how American they are, but the most of them dont know History, nor who really won the War for Independence. Never mind even trying to tell them about US Code Chapter 13, Title 1. 311

Again the other day, I was talking to some people at a weekend gathering. And mentioned the Militia of today. Same response.

Now, I know that we all know this, but it looks like that we are going to be the sacrifice. I only hope that they all catch on after the fact.

Honestly sometimes I am too lazy to log in so I just scan the boards. On Ning.com we use to have a board that allowed visitors to comment and ask questions or visit a chat room, but were blocked from the message boards until they signed up. This could help increase new members. Also move the "LiveStream" to the front of the site, I really like that video and so will future members.

I am an Army Vet, 53 years old and have been involved in geopolitics and activism, including preparedness and the possibility of armed defense for many years.

I KNOW that I'm on every database there is that concerns the Feds. I have declared myself openly many times.

When appropriate I stand up to be counted.

I also give speeches in regards to the Constitution, illegal immigration and other aspects of freedom and Conservative Constitutionalist Issues.

Having said that , I choose to log in using the invisible mode because as a raw recruit I was taught that advertising your activities is a bad habit.

I am not naive. I believe that not a single keystroke goes un-recorded on this and many other boards. Still, if there is anything I can do to make it harder for even one antagonist to monitor me I will do so.

Old habits die hard I guess.

That is a Very Bad Idea. There are a lot of good reasons for a Patriot to not want to join a board and forcing a person to join to just read the forums is not a good thing especially for a Militia Board.

I have told several people about this AWRM and I told them to just read the posts and learn from them and to not join unless they believe they are already on the List and so donít worry about the Fed Gov knowing what boards they belong to.

If the purpose of this board is to just have a lot of members then forcing people to join is good for the board but if the purpose of the board is to Help the cause of freedom by educating potential Freedom Fighters and Patriots, the information on this board should be freely available to all people who values freedom and are willing to fight for it without any requirement to Join the board with the result of getting added to the governments subversive list.

i lurk because i don't have much to offer. i think bases on this site are pretty well covered as far as advice goes. i've noticed however that there hasn't been very much activity here. as a newish member that is pretty discouraging, especially because i'm trying to meet more folks from my area and get together to train and share info. i've looked around a bit and it seems even in my A.O. of snohomish county, WA people have been too secretive in their groups to take on new people. i know i'm on a list of roundups, and honestly i could care less. they cant get us all.

It's not that I'm a lurker with no empathy for militia groups, nor am I spying on militia groups. I am in fact VERY interested in joining a militia group in my area, and am doing my research on militias. But alot of what I see on this and other sites is 9/11 conspiracy theorists, for example; which I find rediculous and gives too much credit to a government that is entirely TOO INCOMPETENT to pull something like a 9/11 off without any leaks whatsoever, hummm just a thought.
I am very concerned over the direction of our country and government - much more so since Obama, and his ilk, stole an election. It is the things that this government is doing IN PLAIN SIGHT that worries me most, not what someone theorizes this government has done with no credible evidence to back their theories. I served this nation for over 20 years in the US Army, and I WILL stand on that bridge with my rifle facing the feds.

hi,
i had just seen an earlier message about lurkers, maybe i am, have been on this site for a month or so - reading/learning. just trying to say to the 'lurker' author that not everyone who enters the site without posting is 'lurking'.
I was a tank commander/platoon sergeant with 2/8 Cavalry when i retired in 06.
awesome meeting a fellow tanker, what units were you in?

Thats interesting as my Murfreesboro son is currently a red leg with the 4th Brigade of the 1st Cav. Currently he is in the HHC of the 4th.

He is doing like his Dad by starting as an enlisted first. Hopefully he will go to OCS soon instead of the Afcrapastan assignment the 4th is slated for as they just got back from Iraq.

I thought we were asked to check out boards BEFORE we post as newbies to keep from reasking questions and to see if our question has already been covered. To become familiar with the site. Just my understanding of how things work here.

I stay in touch with a number of folks from all across the U.S. and got this sites addr from another member in the recent past.

After taking a look at this site I decided to send our a bunch of invites to also take a look so maybe some of my contacts might be taking a look if the situation is still the same now as it was when this post was started?

I'm here and trying not to lurk. I would much rather participate than watch, i'm just lost as to how to participate. So right now, I'm just getting as much range time in as possible, and stashing away as much money as possible to get more gear. I have a rifle and mags, working on the ammo stash and 3rd line gear.

That maybe true but a lot of folks come here to read and to gain some useful knowledge. I dont post much, that I know and could probably post more. Again that goes back to some folks thinks that their question is stupid so therefore no one will ask or post out of fear of looking stupis or foolish. But there is no such as a stupid question. The only stupid question is the question that is not asked and answered. I would rather have folks ask the same question or the samr statement several times and answer it than it never be brought up.
