Due to a computer error (and seller generosity) I accidentally purchased a huge pile (40 plus pounds) of plastic snaps. These are the kind used on backpack straps, webgear belts, etc. I have one inch, 1.5 inch and 2 inch snaps.

So far I am keeping enough to repair our packs, and some for modifying other packs, vests.

I was thinking of using some to construct a few tree cache bags.

I need ideas for other projects. I have at least 500 of these snaps. Once I figure out how many I think I need I will post pics of them in the trade post to sell/trade. Thanks.

When I do projects, I use 65# Spiderwire - Stealth Braid. It has not failed me yet. I am currently repairing a British 120L Bergan with this line.

My next project will be to make knife sheaths and those will be made out of surplus molle radio pouches that I can get for $1.00 each.
