Cliven Bundy says is is "prepared to be killed." This is not going to end well.

Quote
A Ruby Ridge-style standoff is brewing in Nevada, where dozens of armed federal agents are closing in on cattle rancher Cliven Bundy over claims that Bundy has allowed his cows to graze illegally on government land, endangering a protected species of tortoise.

Vowing to take a stand for, “your liberty and freedom,” Bundy says he is prepared to be killed as authorities surround a 600,000 acre section of public land as a result of Bundy violating a 1993 Bureau of Land Management ruling which changed grazing rights in order to protect the endangered desert tortoise.

“With all these rangers and all this force that is out here, they are only after one man right now. They are after Cliven Bundy. Whether they want to incarcerate me or whether they want to shoot me in the back, they are after me. But that is not all that is at stake here. Your liberty and freedom is at stake,” Bundy said.

Bundy’s refusal to recognize federal authority over the land under dispute and his failure to pay tens of thousands of dollars in grazing fees stems from his assertion that his family’s history trumps bureaucracy.

“My forefathers have been up and down the Virgin Valley ever since 1877. All these rights I claim have been created through pre-emptive rights and beneficial use of the forage and water. I have been here longer. My rights are before the BLM even existed,” Bundy said.

Accusing feds of seizing Nevada’s sovereignty, Bundy says he has fought the battle legally, through the media, and is now gearing up to fight it physically.

“Armed agents are forming a a military-like staging area to prevent anyone from approaching the area,” writes Mike Paczesny.

Bundy asserts that his case is emblematic of how America has been transformed into a “police state,” labeling the government’s actions “pathetic”.

Hundreds of federal officials, aided by helicopters, low flying aircraft and hired cowboys, began rounding up Bundy’s cattle on Saturday as Bundy accused them of “trespassing,” adding that the impact will only serve to raise beef prices for residents of Las Vegas 80 miles away.

Feds postponed a similar raid in 2012 over fears the action would spur violence. Bundy has drawn a lot of support from the local community and protesters are heading to the area to demand authorities back off. Officials have created a taped off “First Amendment Area” where demonstrators can voice their concerns. A sign placed inside the area reads “Welcome to Amerika – Wake Up” alongside a hammer and sickle logo.

“The rights were created for us,” Bundy told the Las Vegas Review Journal. “I have the right to use the forage. I have water rights. I have access rights. I have range improvement rights, and I claim all the other rights that the citizens of Nevada have, whether it’s to camp, to fish or to go off road.”

Addressing the justification of seizing the cattle to protect a species of tortoise, Bundy stated, “I’ll never get it. If it weren’t for our cattle, there’d be more brush fires out here. The tortoises eat the cow manure, too. It’s filled with protein.”

The standoff has echoes of the 1992 Ruby Ridge incident, during which Randy Weaver, accused of selling an ATF agent two illegal sawed-off shotguns, became embroiled in a tragic confrontation with the the United States Marshals Service (USMS) and the FBI, resulting in the death of Weaver’s son Sammy, his wife Vicki, and Deputy U.S. Marshal William Francis Degan.

The story also brings back memories of New Hampshire couple Ed and Elaine Brown, who were involved in a nine month standoff with armed law enforcement and feds as a result of their refusal to pay income tax. The Browns were later convicted of “plotting to kill federal agents” because of their refusal to surrender and were both given de facto life sentences.

In a series of YouTube videos, Cliven Bundy and his wife outline the background behind their decision to take a stand against the feds, arguing that their fight is a constitutionally-driven line in the sand to push back against the usurpation of big government.
Watch the video here. And a tip of the hat to Strat for the link.

Militia groups on FaceBook are organizing for assistance but in need of local people.

Federal State and County are all against the rancher.

Very bad situation

Charter Buses would be the way to go, use them like a landing craft, overwhelm the enemy, personal vehicles will be to easily stopped and searched, then overpowered. I didn't know cows eat tortoises.

Yep, if you're within a few hours ride, take a day or two off and back him up.

From Dave Champion:

A note to all my patriotic friends who want to head to rancher Cliven Bundy's place to make sure another Ruby Ridge doesn't happen. The roads (dirt & paved) will be under constant drone surveillance. You have only two choices on how to get to Bundy's place.

1) Small groups carrying enough food & water for several days and get DROPPED OFF several miles away from the fed blockade and infiltrate toward the ranch during hours of darkness. Recognize that if the drones are running thermal imagining you may still get caught. If you choose travel in daylight, remember that there will be govt personnel out in the woods assigned to act as a picket line. To get past them without them sounding the alarm may require you to kill one or more of them.

2) Mass hundreds of people and crash the fed party. Some people WILL get shot when that happens - and you'll then be inside the containment zone. That can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your plan.

Whatever you choose, recognize there is a good chance you'll get killed or go to jail in the end. Not telling you "Don't do it". Suggesting you know what the future may hold at the time you make the decision.

I will also suggest you may be more useful looking at the backs of the feds' through your reticle. But the same infiltration rules still apply.

Can someone show map points on this? A photo recon of the area might be pretty helpful. Figure the Feds have done their already.

I am a little curious about the size and scope of the government cattle rustling camp and what they are doing with all that beef. If they are starving the livestock or hauling in feed and water.

Never mind, looks like the news people have decent maps and video. It is very close to Las Vegas when you consider fast driving eats up miles in that area.

Im glad that you posted this as I was waiting to see if anyone would. These feds need to be pushed back and away from this family, period. I hope we have some assets in the area that will put boots and eyes on this turf and give us a up to date sitrep.

I also hope that the surrounding states will have units heading in that direction.

Have you seen the photos on Beforeitsnews.com of the snipers. They look like someone we have seen before. Wonder what they will do when they start to see lens flash from the distant hills.
Wonder if they will remember their pay check or their oath?

Look carefully at the local. Then look at the old maps for D.u.M.B. S in the area.

They beat Mr. Bundy when he was in restraints and in custody.

BLM cop J Cox stomped on Mr. Bundy's head when he was on the ground.

The fair way to settle this thing would be for the Bureau of Land Management (heh!) to sell this 600,000-acre parcel (along with all the other land it mismanages) to the highest bidder.

The new owners would be free to in any way they choose. Most likely, they would allow ranchers to graze their cattle on at least a part of their land, at whatever price they agree on. But if they want to build factories on it, or prospect for gold, or build a city, or set up a sanctuary for some stupid desert tortoise (which, amazingly, managed to survive along with the cattle for the last 120 years), that would be their right.

If Mr. Bundy and the other ranchers want to assure themselves of the right to graze their cattle on the land, the simple solution would be for them to submit the highest bid.

Usage and adverse possession has always been established American law, the Bundy's have used the land before Nevada became a state it has always been Bundy land.

The federal gov does not own the land and the Bundy's did try to make payment to Nevada state , the state sent the check back to Bundy showing he did indeed pay.

Have the ranchers made such a claim of adverse possession? As far as I know, Mr. Bundy is the only rancher who stopped paying the grazing fee. it seems to me that if all of the ranchers make such a claim, and the claims are upheld, the ranchers would at the very least be entitled to share in the proceeds from the sale.

However, I just don't think they can make that claim. The BLM has indeed been "using" the land, charging grazing fees and/or supposedly "protecting" some dumb tortoise, and taking the Bundy's to court. Mismanagement is not the same thing as abandonment, and I just don't think a claim of adverse possession is going to go far.

The ranchers may well have some claim or rights to the land that were granted long ago. But if it's not in writing, I think the ranchers are going to have a tough time proving it.

The federal government can not leave the ten miles square dockyards/bases protectorates.

The state wild-lands can not be centrally managed , it is not humanly possible.

When 6000 sheep and hundreds of cattle were pastured in the area the tortoise was plenty-full when the grazing permits were denied or raised to where the money was used as a weapon against the rancher Bundy right-fully refuse to fund his own demise.

This is about principle, worth fight for.

Have to agree with D308cat on this one. I can't see the point of letting yourself be surrounded and cut off. That's what happened at Ruby Ridge and Waco and we know how that ended.

By Shiree Bundy Cox, Clive Bundy's daughter:

Quote
I have had people ask me to explain my dad's stance on this BLM fight.

Here it is in as simple of terms as I can explain it.

There is so much to it, but here it s in a nut shell. My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887 around there. Then he sold them to my grandpa who then turned them over to my dad in 1972.

These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built waters, fences and roads to assure the survival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars.

These rights to the land use is called preemptive rights.
Some where down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the bureau of land management.

They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges while the ranchers paid a yearly allotment which was to be use to pay the BLM wages and to help with repairs and improvements of the ranches.

My dad did pay his grazing fees for years to the BLM until they were no longer using his fees to help him and to improve. Instead they began using these money's against the ranchers.

They bought all the rest of the ranchers in the area out with they're own grazing fees.

When they offered to buy my dad out for a penence he said no thanks and then fired them because they weren't doing their job.

He quit paying the BLM but, tried giving his grazing fees to the county, which they turned down. So my dad just went on running his ranch and making his own improvements with his own equipment and his own money, not taxes.

In essence the BLM was managing my dad out of business. Well when buying him out didn't work, they used the indangered species card.

You've already heard about the desert tortis. Well that didn't work either, so then began the threats and the court orders, which my dad has proven to be unlawful for all these years.

Now their desperate. It's come down to buying the brand inspector off and threatening the County Sheriff.

Everything their doing at this point is illegal and totally against the constitution of the United States of America.

Now you may be saying," how sad, but what does this have to do with me?" Well, I'll tell you.

They will get rid of Cliven Bundy, the last man standing on the Bunkerville allotment and then they will close all the roads so no one can ever go on it again.

Next, it's Utah's turn. Mark my words, Utah is next.

Then there's the issue of the cattle that are at this moment being stolen. See even if dad hasn't paid them, those cattle do belong to him.

Regardless where they are they are my fathers property. His herd has been part of that range for over a hundred years, long before the BLM even exsisted.

Now the Feds think they can just come in and remove them and sell them without a legal brand inspection or without my dad's signature on it.

They think they can take them over two boarders, which is illegal, ask any trucker.

Then they plan to take them to the Richfeild Aucion and sell them. All with our tax money.

They have paid off the contract cowboys and the auction owner as well as the Nevada brand inspector with our tax dollars.

See how slick they area?

The people need to stick together and put a stop to the theft of this man's property. All trespassers on the land should be force ably evicted and the cattle should be taken into "protective custody".

Time to put up or shut up.

A hot button issue, no doubt. Lets quit fucking around with this issue. This man has rights to the land, and the land we speak of, he has worked his whole life and his fathers whole life and so on. Now we have the feds taking his sheep and cattle. Last I checked, we used to call them rustlers and we hung em.

This is just as good of a place to fight then anywhere. Let us not be foolish and play by their rules though. A fight has been brewing anyway and here it is. We can hmmn and haw all day everyday, but when will we stand up and defend the constitution and those that stand their ground defending it. This family needs us and this is our opportunity to obtain some street cred while doing our duty. Sorry for the rant, just calling it like I see it.

A few things.

If anyone either Infiltrates or Forces their way onto this Ranchers Land and Fires on or worse kills any Law Enforcer their life as they knew it will be over, since there is no way that the Enemy will ever let any one get away with killing one of their fellow Law Enforcers. Also anyone who does manage to get on the Ranchers Property will be trapped there.

As to getting on the Property there is one way that was not mentioned and that is via parachute. There must be a lot of Patriots who are Airborne Qualified.

What should be done will require a lot a Patriots willing to make a stand and put it all on the line and I feel that there are not enough Patriots wiling to go all the way even though if they took action they would not actually have to go all the way.

Hypothetically speaking, what would be the result if a large number of Armed Patriots were to surround the Nevada State House and the Federal Building in Carson City, and what if a large number of Patriots were to camp on the Vegas Strip?

Also hypothetically speaking, what would happen if the Power Grid that feeds Vegas and Reno were to be taken out?

If there were enough of us that the State Government of Nevada believed that we were able to shut down Vegas and Reno maybe we could convince the Governor to take action to stop the Feds from going after that Rancher.

Here is sad truth, Patriots may not be able to save that Rancher but we can make sure that the Enemy pays a very big price for what they have done.

The State of Nevada needs the money they get from Vegas and Reno very much and if Vegas and Reno could be blacked out for lets say two or more months that would have a very detrimental impact on the Finances of the State.

If we can destroy something means we can control that something.

The Enemy thinks that any action Patriots take, will take the form of Fortifying the Ranchers Property and they will not be prepared if a large number of Patriots were to camp on the Vegas Strip and effectively shut down the Economic Heart of Nevada.

What I believe we should do is to convince the Government to back down and I believe the best way to accomplish this is if we can make them understand that while they may win one battle they will pay a very very big price for that victory.

Nevada Governor Blasts Feds’ ‘First Amendment Area’ in Bundy Dispute

“Constitutional rights sacred to all Nevadans”

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
April 9, 2014

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval has inserted himself into the escalating standoff between cattle rancher Cliven Bundy and federal officials by blasting the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) over their creation of a ‘First Amendment Area’ outside of which free speech is banned.

The ‘First Amendment Area’ set up by BLM agents is a crudely taped off piece of land inside which supporters of Bundy, who is engaged in a long running dispute with feds over grazing rights on a 600,000 acre expanse in northeastern Clark County, are allowed to express their free speech.

However, protesters have completely ignored the area, instead staging large demonstrations on Bundy’s ranch. The only presence inside the ‘First Amendment Area’ are signs which read “1st Amendment is not an area” and another that states, “Welcome to Amerika – Wake Up” alongside a hammer and sickle logo.

“Most disturbing to me is the BLM’s establishment of a ‘First Amendment Area’ that tramples upon Nevadans’ fundamental rights under the U.S. Constitution,” said Sandoval in a statement. “To that end, I have advised the BLM that such conduct is offensive to me and countless others and that the ‘First Amendment Area’ should be dismantled immediately.”

“No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans. The BLM needs to reconsider its approach to this matter and act accordingly,” asserted the Governor.

The Bundy family responded to Sandoval’s statement by saying they were disappointed that he didn’t take a more firm stance to back them in their dispute with the BLM, but they were pleased with his sentiments regarding the ‘First Amendment Area’.

“Whenever you designate an area, then you’re restricting it everywhere else. When you designate an area like that for first amendment rights, you [don't] give the people any rights. You [take them] away, and every other location,” said Ryan Bundy.

The Bundy family came face to face with the consequences of violating the free speech zone on Sunday when Dave Bundy was arrested for taking video footage from a state highway of BLM agents rounding up his family’s cattle. Video footage later proved that armed snipers had their guns trained on the family during the incident.

On Sunday, Cliven Bundy promised to launch a “range war” on federal officials after they began rounding up his cattle. Authorities are justifying the move by pointing out they are simply enforcing a 1993 rule change which prevents Bundy’s livestock from grazing on the land in order to protect the endangered desert tortoise.

Bundy and his supporters see the spat as something entirely different, portraying it as a clash between out of control big government and patriotic American family farmers.

With Bundy’s ranch under constant surveillance from armed agents ensconced inside what Ryan Bundy described as a “military compound,” some fear the standoff could lead to a Ruby Ridge or Waco-style tragedy.

Or these stories about the victimization of the Boyd family: FBI probing accusations filed against BLM ranger, and "$5.6 million lawsuit filed in dunes case." And after this shocking attack on the Boyds, BLM ranger Ray Leloup was appartly promoted by BLM for his thuggery.

And it's not like the Bundys can expect help from their own local sheriff, Douglas C. Gillespie, who is a member of the same Las Vegas Democrat Party corruption ring that supports Harry Reid. Oath Keepers reports that Gillespie sits on the DHS “Working Group on Countering Violent Extremism” along with the Southern "Poverty" Law Center. No, the Bundys cannot expect any help from that quarter. Indeed, in terms of so-called "law enforcement," the Governor is the only possible help that the Bundys can expect if they do not wish to become the next federally-selected burning-like-a-torch Branch Davidians.

As Carol Bundy observes, “This is just about power of the government,” and she asks, plainively:

“The story is a lot about the cattle, but the bigger story is about our loss of freedom,” Carol Bundy added. “They have come and taken over this whole corner of the county. They’ve taken over policing power, they’ve taken over our freedom, and they’re stealing cattle.” “And our sheriff says he just doesn’t have authority, our governor says he doesn’t have authority, and we’re saying, why are we a state?”

Indeed. Why are you Governor, Sandoval?

Supposedly a militia unit in Nevada has ordered its people to stand down. I don't know which unit, and I don't have any confirmation of that. But the word I'm getting is that the Bundy family still is asking for help.

Oath Keepers to help with Bundy protest.

Folks,

Sorry for the late start this morning. I was up quite late last night, speaking with a number of people very familiar with the situation on the ground at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, including Stewart Rhodes. Oath Keepers is marshaling support and the following email explains what they are about and gives some instructions for folks attending the protest. They were forwarded to me with the comment: "I just got them in an email from Stewart. Feel free to share as you like. There should be a formal call to action and press release later today."

Oath Keepers,

We need a presence there immediately to help prevent the feds sparking another Ruby Ridge or Waco incident in the Bundy stand-off.

Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhJ6H9vlEDA&feature=youtu.be.

Nevada State Rep. Michele Fiore . . . is on site right now at the protest site outside the Bundy ranch, and she is helping us assemble a coalition of Nevada state legislators. We are also working with WA State Rep Matt Shea to put together a delegation of other Western State Representatives to go there to support Rep. Fiore and her coalition, and we are working with Sheriff Mack to bring a delegation of current serving CSPOA Sheriffs to stand vigil there. We need Oath Keepers to also show up and stand vigil and support this family and the patriot legislators and sheriffs who are taking the lead in defending them. This is critical. The goal is to stand vigil to prevent another Waco or Ruby Ridge, and to put pressure on the Nevada Governor to honor the oath he took by standing up for this family and for the state of Nevada.

I fly to Vegas tomorrow. Sheriff Mack is coming too, along with the current serving Sheriffs he is rallying to the cause.

All who can make it, need to be there. We need numbers - boots on the ground. The more the better. For those who are coming, please rally at the public protest site near the ranch in Bunkerville, Nevada. To get there, take I-15 North, toward Mesquite, and get off at exit 112. Go right two miles (you can only go right). You will see tall flag poles and signs. Can't miss it.

Per Ammon Bundy, here are some rules:

First, NO MILITARY CAMMO. This is a protest by rural Americans. Dress accordingly. (from me: Oath Keepers can wear Oath Keepers polos if you have them, or OK T shirts, but please no cammo. Let's respect the Bundy family request).

No open carry of rifles. Any rifles people may have with them need to stay in the vehicles. When you arrive at the protest rally point, ask for Ammon Bundy, Cliven Bundy's son, to check in. If he is not there, he will have designated another family rep for you to check in with. DO NOT go past that first rally point/protest site with the flags that the family has set up on private land. Beyond that is the road to their ranch, and no one is to drive to the ranch without express permission and escort by Cliven Bundy or his sons. Please respect their need for security and privacy.

No volunteer is to give any media interviews. Refer all media first and foremost to the Bundy family members present, in particular Cliven Bundy, Ammon, or one of the other sons. And/or refer them to one of the current serving Nevada State legislators who will be there, such as Michele Fiore (she is gathering a coalition of Nevada representatives), or one of the current serving Sheriff's who will be coming. We are there to support them, and let them handle the media.

If any media ask to interview Oath Keepers, please refer them to me, but I will likely just refer them to the family until we do a press conference once Sheriff Mack arrives - and even then, the focus will be on the coalition of current serving Western State Legislators and Sheriffs that we are helping to gather. They and the family will be the main effort, and we are there as support.

BRING CAMERAS. Film everything. The more cameras, the better.

Bring relevant signs about honoring the oath, respecting property rights and free speech rights. We are there to stand up for rural Americans who are under attack and to pressure the Governor and the Clark County Sheriff to do their duty.

Ammon said volunteers can camp on private property that is on the side of the road at the main protest site the family has set up (the first gathering place you will come to with signs and flags once you get off I-15 at exit 112 and go about two miles). Again, please ask the family members present where to park and where to camp if you want to camp.

Cliven Bundy Calls on Sheriff to Start Arresting BLM Feds

“Don’t we pay him to protect our life, liberty and property?”

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
April 10, 2014

Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy has called on Clark County Sheriff Douglas Gillespie to start arresting Bureau of Land Management agents on charges of trespassing and theft as his battle against the federal government intensifies.

Bundy’s dispute with the feds escalated yesterday when several of his supporters were assaulted by BLM officials. The BLM is currently rounding up Bundy’s cattle in order to enforce a regulation in order to protect an endangered desert tortoise after 600,000 acres of public land was reclassified as federal property.

During a Moapa Valley town hall meeting last night, Bundy said he went to visit Sheriff Gillespie a few days ago but “found him hiding under the table”.

“He is the man that has constitutional jurisdiction and authority, he has policing power here in Clark County Nevada, and he has arresting power, so we elected him and we pay him, what do we pay him to do?” asked Bundy, adding, “Don’t we pay him to protect our life, liberty and property?”

Bundy noted that his life was under threat because he couldn’t get a response from a 911 call, adding, “My liberty is threatened when they lock me away from my land and my property and I can’t care for my cows….they stole my property, around 300 head of cattle….they stole them in Clark County Nevada.”

Bundy also called on Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to make a stand for residents of Clark County. Sandoval publicly blasted the BLM over their creation of a ‘First Amendment Area’ outside of which free speech is banned while also decrying the “intimidation” tactics used against the Bundy family, but he has yet to offer anything other than vocal condemnation.

“I love you people, and I love this land, and I love freedom and liberty, and I love the sovereign state of Nevada and nobody can tell me the United States owns this land,” said Bundy, adding that he would pay any grazing fees to Clark County and not the federal government.

Asserting that the land under dispute was owned by the people of Clark County, Bundy asked, “Is the United States government trespassing on your land?” to which the crowd reacted with an emphatic “yes!”

During the town hall meeting, Bundy’s sister, Margaret Houston also spoke about how she was assaulted by BML agents earlier in the day, remarking, “It felt like a war zone and I felt like I was not in the United States….they have snipers, they have helicopters, they’re carrying machine guns, it’s not pretty, it’s like a foreign country.”

The fact that at least 200 armed federal agents are watching Bundy’s ranch from a military-style compound with sophisticated surveillance technology has sparked fears that the dispute could escalate into a Waco-style assault.

As of last night, three militia members have arrived , two from Montana and one from Utah. More are on the way.

Quote
From near and wide, armed men are trickling toward Cliven Bundy’s ranch, where the rancher’s fight with the federal government has become a rallying cry for militia groups across the United States.

On Wednesday, that dispute teetered at the edge of deadly conflict, when Cliven Bundy’s family members and supporters scuffled with rangers from the Bureau of Land Management sent to protect the federal roundup of Bundy’s cattle on public land.

One of Bundy’s seven sons was shot with a stun gun, and Bundy’s sister was knocked to the ground; but no one was seriously hurt, and no arrests were made.

By late Wednesday, three militia members — two from Montana and one from Utah — had arrived at the ranch 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas. Other militia groups have inundated the Bundy household with calls and pledges to muster at the site. Their stated goal: to protect the Bundys from tyranny.

They say they are prepared for armed confrontation, but they insist they will not be the instigators if bloodshed happens.

Ryan Payne and Jim Lardy, members of the West Mountain Rangers, made the 12-hour drive from western Montana on Tuesday night. Payne is also a coordinator with Operation Mutual Aid, a national association that describes itself as a coalition of state militias.

“They all tell me they are in the process of mobilizing as we speak,” Payne said.

He didn’t put a specific estimate on how many militia members may come, but he said the groups expected are from places like New Hampshire, Texas and Florida and could number in the hundreds.

“We need to be the barrier between the oppressed and the tyrants,” he said. “Expect to see a band of soldiers.”

Payne, 30, and Lardy, 49, both wore holstered handguns as they spoke, but they downplayed the display of firepower. They wear their weapons daily.

They say the goals are for no one to be harmed, the Bundy family to be protected, and the Bundy property restored.

For now, the militia members will camp on the Bundy ranch. They say the issue isn’t about cattle or grazing rights; it’s about constitutional rights.

“We’re not anti-government,” said Lardy, who cuts firewood for a living. “We’re anti-corrupt government.”

Stephen Dean, 45, an artist from Utah, said he made the trip in hopes of heading off another Ruby Ridge or Waco, referring to deadly confrontations involving federal agents in Idaho in 1992 and in Texas in 1993.

A member of the People’s United Mobile Armed Services, Dean said he also carries weapons more powerful than his firearms: a camera and the Internet. Those tools will document the plight of the Bundy ranch and bring the issue to light, he said. “I’m here to see it does happen differently.”...

The Bureau of Land Management and National Park Service released a statement confirming that one protester had been stunned. The agencies said the incident started when “a BLM truck driven by a non-law enforcement civilian employee assisting with gather operations was struck by a protester on an ATV, and the truck’s exit from the area was blocked by a group of individuals who gathered around the vehicle.”

According to the statement, peaceful protests have “crossed into illegal activity” in recent days, with people “blocking vehicles associated with the gather, impeding cattle movement, and making direct and overt threats to government employees.”

“These isolated actions that have jeopardized the safety of individuals have been responded to with appropriate law enforcement actions,” it said.

Federal law enforcement officers, also heavily armed, are providing tight security to contract cowboys from Utah who were hired by the government for almost $1 million to round up as many as 900 cattle that Bundy has left to roam on federal land despite not paying grazing fees for the past 20 years....

Gov. Brian Sandoval on Tuesday slammed the BLM for creating an “atmosphere of intimidation” and called on the agency to dismantle two “First Amendment areas” it set up for demonstrators well away from any roundup activity.

The former federal judge said he told the agency “that such conduct is offensive to me and countless others.”

“No cow justifies the atmosphere of intimidation which currently exists nor the limitation of constitutional rights that are sacred to all Nevadans,” the Republican governor said.

On Wednesday morning, before news broke of the scuffle between protesters and the BLM, Sen. Dean Heller, R-Nev., sent a statement expressing “great disappointment with the way that this situation is being handled.”

Heller said he spoke to newly confirmed BLM director Neil Kornze and “told him very clearly that law-abiding Nevadans must not be penalized by an over-reaching BLM.”

“After hearing from local officials and residents, and receiving feedback from the Nevada Cattlemen’s Association in a meeting this morning, I remain extremely concerned about the size of this closure and disruptions with access to roads, water and electrical infrastructure,” Heller said. “I will continue to closely monitor this situation, and urge the BLM to make the necessary changes in order to preserve Nevadans’ constitutional rights.”

What scared me the most in that report was the mercenaries with badges that are massing, filling up hotels. We could have a massacre here.

Agree with D308. You don't fight where your enemy is strong and you don't insert yourself into their trap. Hit them where they are weak, alone, not expecting, unprotected. Then fade away. They can't put 100 people at every road block. They can't be every where and they have to go home or shop somewhere.

The enemy is the enemy no matter where he is or the time of day. Anyone who aids the enemy is the enemy and is worthy of aggression.

I believe it to be a VERY unfortunate situation out there going on, that being said, the people of this country WONT get together to defend a "mole hill", simply because they don't won't to risk losing everything they've worked for, apathetic, lazy, cowards all come to mind. They don't realize that they have lost their country and tyranny is going to take it anyways. Mao proved that "Political power emanates from the barrel of a rifle" when he came to power in China. It is going to take force to remove force to "try" and take this country back, if we can get enough of us to stick together, it might be accomplished, but protesting, making videos and documenting what's going on is over, I believe we have plenty of documentation at this time for the "cause and effect" to come into play, just my .2c.......

Colt, folks in the eastern part of the State agree. Bought time for the Appalachian Redoubt to come together.

Coalition of Western State Legislators, Sheriffs, and Veterans Stand Vigil in Support of Embattled Nevada Rancher, Cliven Bundy 'To Prevent Another Ruby Ridge or Waco"

A Delegation of state legislators, lead by Washington State Representative Matt Shea, along with a delegation of current serving Sheriffs, lead by Sheriff Richard Mack of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, and military and police members of Oath Keepers, are converging on the site of a stand-off between federal law enforcement and Nevada Rancher Cliven Bundy, to prevent bloodshed and to stand in defense of hardworking rural Americans who are under assault by a runaway federal government.

LAS VEGAS, NV, April 10, 2014

The Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA.org), led by retired Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, and the Oath Keepers organization (oathkeepers.org) are assisting Washington State Representative Matt Shea in organizing a delegation of current serving Western state legislators and Sheriffs to travel to the site of a tense stand-off between Bunkerville, Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The delegation is traveling to Nevada to support a coalition of current serving Nevada legislators being organized by Nevada State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, of Las Vegas, to stand vigil at the Bundy ranch to prevent Federal Government provocation of violence resulting in another Ruby Ridge or Waco type incident. They also hope that their example of oath-sworn public servants defending the rights of the people will prompt Clark County, Nevada Sheriff Douglas Gillespie and Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval to honor their oaths of office by taking real action to defend the rights of the Bundy family, the rights of all Nevadans, and the sovereignty of the State of Nevada.

Yesterday, April 9, 2014, Nevada State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore served the first watch in this vigil shortly after Cliven Bundy's son, Ammon Bundy, was tazered by BLM "Rangers" during a heated confrontation. The video of that confrontation can be seen on our website.

The courage and resolve displayed by Ammon Bundy and his relatives is inspiring, and may well go down in history as a watershed moment - a turning of the tide. But the above video also amply demonstrates the heavy-handed behavior of the BLM that risks escalating an already volatile situation into open bloodshed, that, once begun, may spiral out of anyone's control.

It is necessary that current serving public servants step in-between the protesters and the BLM, to protect the rights of the people and to prevent violence against them by the militarized federal law enforcement that are massing near the ranch to continue the forced confiscation (theft) of Bundy's cattle, while they also restrict all access to huge tracts of public land, and attempt to restrict the free speech of protesters with their absurd "First Amendment Area" (which the protesters are ignoring, to their honor).

The Oath Keepers organization, comprised of 40,000 current serving and former military, police, and first responders, is also calling on its members and all other patriotic Americans to join the vigil at the Bundy ranch under the leadership of the current serving legislators and sheriffs. The goal is to have at least one current serving state legislator and at least one sheriff on the ground at all times until this is over. And they will be backed by a large number of military and police veterans, as well as dedicated patriotic Americans from all walks of life, to interpose and defend the rights of the protesters and to keep an eye on the actions of the BLM and any other federal law enforcement present, to prevent a recurrence of the horrid abuses seen at Ruby Ridge and Waco, and to hopefully pressure the Clark County Sheriff and the Nevada Governor to step up and do their constitutional duty.

Regardless, please tell everyone you know to be praying for a peaceful resolution to this situation and for the safety of the brave patriots headed there and on the ground there right now.

Open letter From Rep. Matt Shea

All,

Today we are not Republicans or Democrats, Washingtonians or Nevadans... we are Americans who believe in Freedom and Liberty and that human life is more important than a tortoise. It has become obvious to all of us that Federal overreach will not stop and is dramatically harming every citizen.

Yesterday, we dispatched a group of patriots from Washington State to Nevada to report directly what is happening on the ground and to begin a vigil of prayer for peace and freedom at the Bundy ranch. Enough is enough. A sniper rifle is not due process and I agree with the Nevada Governor this is pure intimidation especially since the court case has not even run its course. NOW IS THE TIME TO STAND. TAKE ACTION 4 WAYS:

First, join me in prayer and fasting to Almighty God for a peaceful resolution to the situation and for the safety of those traveling to and already on the ground in Nevada.

Second, after prayerful consideration and much counsel I have put out the call to legislators in 5 states to join Rep David Taylor and me in traveling to Nevada in support of State Assemblywoman Michele Fiore and the Bundy family. This is in conjunction with the call put out across the country to Sheriff's by C.S.P.O.A.'a Sheriff Richard Mack and veterans by Oath Keepers of America. If you know a legislator, share this with them.

Third, if you are a patriot in Washington or Idaho please join us in traveling to Nevada to love our neighbors and peacefully stand against this tyranny on the range.

Fourth, please join me in calling and emailing the Gov. Brian Sandoval to immediately step in and end this dangerous and violent escalation by the Bureau of Land Management. http://gov.nv.gov/contact/

Despite property rights being unalienable, as many in the ranching, farming, logging, mining, and manufacturing industries know this is not an isolated incident. Government seizure or denying use of property without just compensation through nonsensical environmental regulations based on non-peer reviewed science is destroying rural America. This has happened in Idaho and here in eastern Washington with rapidly occurring frequency. After several phone calls with attorneys from all over the country, including Nevada, it is clear that the Federal government's actions WILL NOT STOP IN NEVADA. This war by the Obama administration on rural America and hardworking Americans will go no further.

This involves all of us. It will take all of us to restore a God Honoring Constitutional Republic. I want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. It is an honor to serve you. May we stand now so that our children and grandchildren can live in peace and prosperity and freedom.

May God pour out His grace and mercy on us and may this endeavor glorify, honor, and praise Him.

In Freedom,

Matt Shea

Bureau of Land Management agents assaulted and arrested two brothers who were protesting on behalf of Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy last night, threatening the men with tasers and detaining them for hours. The BLM claimed Tyler and Spencer Schillig were trespassing as they walked near a federal holding pen where some of the cattle that the federal agency has seized from Bundy were being held. Spencer Schillig told Infowars reporter David Knight that his intention was not to interfere with but to protest the federal operation. He obeyed orders to stop but was quickly thrown to the ground and handcuffed, sustaining injuries to his head and neck.

As a Clark County representative addresses a large group of protesters just outside the Bundy Ranch in Eastern Nevada, the citizens make their stance on this federal overreach very clear, they are ready to stand firm for their freedoms and never back down in the face of tyranny.

I look at the cattle seizure situation, and you know the feds could have posted up guards to simply contain Bundy and his cattle to his ranch off BLM land. I understand his ranch is not exactly a tiny postage stamp sized property in itself.

agree with TR and 308Kitten. Attack what they hold most dear. MOST DEAR. What is most dear to a man... what is most dear to a family man ??

that is what you attack. in a war the first casualty is innocence. And what that means is nothing or no one is innocent. they are either for a cause or against it.

So I will again watch this scenario play out with again the exact same insane results that have always happened.

When MR BLM has to worry about what is happening to his family then he wont be so unconstitutional now will he??

If you don't intend to fight to win .. then don't fight.
Colt is right protesting is useless all of this pathetic cowardly bullShip is a complete waste of time. Cause and effect ?? Try Complexity and Spontaneity. Mixed in with some randomness and HVT selection.

But you can want in one hand and Shi* in the other and see which one fills up first.

I cant put this any plainer than what I have just posted.

Shit or get off the pot.

Remember Waco and Ruby Ridge? The victims got NO favorable press whatsoever. They had no communications with the outside world and no way to present their side of things to the people.

Times have changed.

NOW WE CAN WAGE PSY-WAR TOO.

Everyone has the net now and we have a viable alternative media to counter the party line. Social media makes on the scene news...instant. The tyrants who operate in darkness can no longer hide what they do and they fear the light.

The protests, the "sympathetic" politicians, the speeches are all political theater. They more average people see average people being terrorized by an out of control gov.; the more sympathetic they are to the resistance.

Large crowds of peaceful, ordinary folk need to be seen right now standing tall.

That DOES NOT mean however that contingency plans are not in place to deal with the threat if things go hot. This must be clearly understood by all including OPFOR.

Everyone should be on standby.

People in the area of Nev should have some, not all people on sight.

For the rest of the country...

Got your underground and auxiliary networks ready to go operational?

Got your local, regional comm plan in place and operational?

Are your QRF teams ready to go on a minutes warning?

That's the difference, and it's a big one. All those militia men (and women) going to Nevada are armed with firearms, and cameras. And guess which one of those are going to be more effective.

But really, things haven't changed all that much. Remember Patrick Henry and Thomas Paine? The militia would never have mustered a single regiment without them.

Those who say the time for politics and demonstrations is over, just haven't studied history. We're winning the battle, and we need to do more of the same. A lot more.

From the Bundy ranch:

Quote
People are being pulled over near the protesting stand if they are showing any type of patriotism!

Two men were driving and were pulled over and when they were pulled over the officer confiscated LEGAL Weapons! Then sent them on their way.

The man stated: "I am on your side, but I am just doing my job"

Keep on fighting. We need to do this together and we urge you to come out and support us! We need you, stop this tyranny!
And a few minutes later:

Quote
Ryan Payne one of the Main Militia who has been here protecting Cliven has reported it was HIS brother in law who reported the confiscating of weapons. This has been confirmed by Militia. If this happens to anyone else please call us or put it on blast, if you can get pictures, please do! Thank you for your support everybody!

Better get creative if your heading that way, and I think I might have mentioned the Problem with personal Transportation !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ca./Nevada border may become hostile to those heading east, got that from a little B/W birdy with sun glasses. Now if this goes HOT ? Units Bordering Nevada could use the same Tactics to slow down and or STOP Hostile Reinforcements from crossing in. Everyone should be considering secondary Targets ! My 2 pennies, SEMPER FI

Those feds are staying at local motels, eating at local restaurants, and buying gasoline at local gas stations.

What would stop someone from kicking in their motel room doors when they're out during the day and commandeering all their stuff? What's stopping someone from slashing their tires, bashing the windows, and swiping anything of value (radios, laptops, weapons, body armor, etc)?

The only thing stopping that from happening is the people there not realizing how deep the shit is that they're in. Once they've recognized the situation for what it is -a low-intensity war- they'll do what needs to be done and treat this war situation as warriors.

Could always have a "bad batch" of gasoline at the local station that ruins a whole lot of engines...

Hopefully it is to offer an olive branch from the blm, announcing their backing down. Possibly a formal apology and a check for damages. Well I can dream! Or is that only allowed in designated 'free thought zones'!

Ham radio reports that cell phone service has been disrupted / shut down in the area.

'FreeFor' asks that everyone monitor:

3.975 LSB

7.204 LSB

28.435 USB

They also request more ham operators to act as relays.

I was not going to post this because I can not independently confirm it, Though I did see the post ! BUT in light of CSC and Airforce last posts I am. My wife received a photo (not high quality)via Facebook from a friend in Utah taken today on a cell phone of a Train Load of Hummers and what appeared to be Bradly's in Desert tan heading west, She is following the Bundy Siege and this upset her a lot, She put the caption on it "OMG this is about to get REAL" So take it for what it is, I personally don't believe in Coincidences, If anyone else can confirm ? Please CHIME IN, This is Really Starting to look like a FALSE FLAG OPERATION Brothers,I also live on a Major truck rout, intersecting Highways, Friday CB traffic is always heavy, It is DEAD not 1 signal, Be Careful, D308cat out. Some people at the Bundy ranch seem pretty excited about this:

Quote
Excellent news! AT&T just messaged the Bundy Families phones and stated the following: "AT&T supports Cliven Bundy and family in there time of struggle"

This is great news and shows that we have support from all around, people are sticking up for what they believe even large companies. We hope that you will do the same!
The trouble is, I don't think it's real. For one thing, "there time of need" should be "their time of need," and I just don't think AT&T would make that kind of grammatical error. I suppose it could be the fault of the person entering it into Facebook, so I'll give it a pass on that one.

But, well, AT&T sure as heck didn't have any problem cooperating with NSA in their metadata program. Why would they be on our side now?

Color me skeptical. Extremely skeptical.

...you can bet a large corporation is NOT going to open up their image for scrutiny. I am not an anti-corporate type as I still work for one and like Washington DC, NOTHING they do is innocent, coincidence, or for ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT THE "SHAREHOLDERS" WANT - customer/employee be damned. I DO and WILL STAND WITH THE BUNDYS' and will not be surprised when their phones/internet go dead.
Should things go HOT I'm ready to help where and when needed.

RE: Federal action against patriot groups in US

Today at 10AM there was a very large meeting at the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division (CJIS) headquarters in Clarksburg, WV. The meeting was held in an auditorium and included everyone – from agents to the secretaries. The meeting was organized by the Director of the Biometric Identification Management Agency (BIMA), Colonel Bolo (ret.).

Bolo summarized the purchase of 24 new armored vehicles (each costing $400k) and the recent appearance of 20 mobile headquarters that are now present at the facility. The mobile units are semi-trailers with attached generators in the front; are of a shiny, mirrored-silver finish; and have no identifiable markings on them at all. There are 20 of them parked (visibly in front) at 1000 Cluster Hollow Rd, Clarksburg, WV as of today. Additionally, there are 24 armored cars (the same ones we have seen with DHS markings) parked in a different lot on this property, but they too may be visible.

The Colonel went into great detail on a list of patriot/constitutional groups. According to witnesses, this is a list that may be identical or very close to the one put out by the SPLC but had over 1000 groups on it. He explained that although groups may take advantage of the 2nd Amendment debate to garner followers now, at the heart of all these organizations is a racist core; one that poses a threat and will need to be dealt with soon. This is when he tied the armored cars and mobile command trailers to ‘the mission’.

The armored cars (those at the facility and nationwide) are to effect high-risk warrants on the ringleaders of the listed various groups with command centers being placed as necessary. The DHS and FBI are planning to move at one time against the listed groups; with SWAT teams being utilized against the more threatening ones. The colonel explained that all these groups have been successfully infiltrated and the leaders identified. He also explained that this is part of the new Internal Security Force that the president has been alluding to. In answering a question from an attendee regarding the mass purchase of ammo, he also stated that the buildup of arms and ammo was specifically for this ‘mission’.

The witness has told me that after the meeting, everyone they seen were against this. People were complaining, shaking their head in disbelief, and asking what the heck going on. According to them, NOBODY (including federal agents present) planned on going along with this and many even talked about how this will ignite a war.

The report I received can be verified through any personal contacts you may have at this center or connected to the agencies mentioned. You may also visibly inspect the lot for these trailers by driving to the location in Clarksburg. The witness was extremely bothered by the meeting and has said ‘it is coming and a hell of a lot sooner than people think’.

I used to think that mass roundups would never happen – but with this new information, I can clearly see that this is exactly what is going to happen (at least to a certain number of militia/patriot groups). And inevitably, any action this crazy will result in a reaction by others. The specter of Civil War in this country is a real and present danger folks – prepare.

NOTE: I did ask a whole bunch of additional questions which hopefully will be answered soon.

BLM may be retreating from the Bundy ranch. Can anyone confirm this story?

Quote
The Bureau of Land Management has announced it will stop the roundup of cattle owned by rancher Cliven Bundy. The BLM says the animals have been illegally grazing on public lands for 20 years.

The BLM made the announcement Saturday morning, a week after rangers started gathering the animals from land near Gold Butte.

The agency says it is concerned about the safety of its employees and the public. Earlier this week, BLM officers and supporters of the Bundy family were involved in a scuffle. Cliven Bundy's son, Ammon Bundy, was tased twice by federal agents. Another woman said she was thrown to the ground by an officer.

With more Bundy supporters pouring in from around the country, safety concerns began to grow.

The I-Team has learned the deal to end the gather was brokered by Clark County Sheriff Doug Gillespie.

According to sources, the BLM wants to proceed with the sale of the cattle already gathered during the roundup but is reportedly willing to share the revenue from the sale with Bundy.

Sheriff Gillespie has been negotiating with Bundy behind the scenes for months reached a tentative agreement Friday night, though Bundy insisted the sheriff come to his ranch to finalize the arrangement face-to-face.

The two men meet Saturday to discuss the agreement prior to a public announcement.

In its statement, the BLM said its actions this past week were progress in enforcing two court orders to remove the trespassing cattle from public land.

The agency director also asked that everyone involved in the dispute remain peaceful and law-abiding.

8 News NOW is following this developing story and will update it online as more information becomes available. 8 News NOW has a news crew in Bunkerville who will have a live report at 6 p.m.
I think this may be more of a "time out" than a "retreat." But internet reports from the Bundy ranch have been hinting that something big was happening. We'll see.

Sheriff has stated that the BLM has and said they will Stand down earlier today as you know! This is true!

Cliven has demanded that the BLM comes and puts down their guns and shows that they are really going to leave this area alone.

Let the world know! Cliven Bundy wants them to open up this area pull down the signs saying we may not cross onto those roads! As well as take down these checkpoints like the one where a man was murdered!

I missed the report of the man murdered at a check point. Does anyone have a link?

I like that Mr. Buddy is making demands of the BLM's pull back! Cajones the size of beach balls! THIS is just the character trait that allowed our country to rise, and what it will take to build it back!

Nobody seems to know what's going on. If you're headed to the Bundy ranch, keep going. And keep your cameras ready, we need to know what's happening. That "stand down" order may have just been a ploy.

As of now no one has been hurt that we know of!

Please stop spreading rumors, we cannot get to everyone questions.

I am hearing from people "On site" that BLM will be moving out and that we will be taking the cattle back to the ranch as soon as they leave, I also have heard that they asked Margaret "the lady who they had thrown down" to come forward so BLM could apologize, a lot of this has not been confirmed but I want to keep you updated as much as I can! Clearing things up!
Regarding Cell Towers and Service:
People have been saying our Cell Phone towers are down and things of that nature, this is incorrect.

Regarding Gun Shots:
This is also false to my knowledge there has been no shots and no one has been hurt.

Regarding Arrests:
At this point no one has been arrested today that we know of either and we are keeping close hands on the situation!

IF Something happens, once confirmed we will let you know! Until then ASSUME that the three topics above are FALSE

Build fortifications, MRAP traps, underground bunkers, etc. Time to roll in with cement mixers and bulldozers.

Good PR moves by the militia. They brought journalists with them to record everything. Some other steps taken that required good planning.

BUT-lest anyone become too smug and self-assured, know that immediately after the BLM retreated, each group was being debriefed, and information gathered so that their future illegal measures will not fail.

The militia won on numbers, courage, and good PR moves. I don't know if this rancher really has a legal right, but, as the militia leaders have pointed out, this is about a government using deadly force and terror to push their agenda down the throats of the people.

The Feds didn't run away with their tails between their legs, with the idea that this was over. It isn't. Next time, they might try in some part of the country where they assume fewer militia are prepared to join in the fight. And they might just be ready with some Apache attack birds. I doubt seriously that they will confine their terrorist attacks in the future to assault weapons and dogs.

Its me DML. Today was insane. I got the best footage. I was in the heart of it all. In fact, I think I may need an appointment with a psychiatric specialist because I took the firs step and walked alone toward snipers who told me I needed to retreat or else they'd shoot. I did not turn back and they continued to warn ne but i ignored the warning. Eventually, everyone behind me started coming forward and there was no way they could stop us.

Amon Bundy later said to me, "Man you have guts like I've never seen." I replied, "No, you do. Had you not stood up to the BLM, me and the other thousands of Americans wouldn't be here."

Today was a victory and a tremendous step towards taking back America. My footage and story of events will be on The Kelly File this Monday. Right now I'm going to drink a few scotches because it is sinking in that I had 40 plus AR15 riffles pointed at my head.

i didn't have a camera guy today -- i shot all the footage myself -- so the only proof that says I was in NV is this shot that i inadvertantly grabbed while I tried fixing the camera. However, I am sure other people captured the heated stAndoff when I was in it. More importantly, I captured everything that took place including BLM giving back the cattle. Great Americans stood up today. So many excellent new friends. Heroes all over Nevada and around America came together. One of the best days of my life.

America won today!!!!!

Fed intel says there were 30,000 militia planning on joining the battle for Bunkerville.

This was a militia victory plain and simple.

Yep. I had to laugh when I read the BLM called off the operation because they were "concerned about safety."

Well, they sure weren't too concerned about safety when they were roughing up elderly women and throwing them to the ground. But safety sure became a priority when they realized there were hundreds of armed men around, and thousands more on the way. smile

To put it bluntly, the people are being hoodwinked into believing that the situation is being resolved. It is not. It is a strategic de-escalation to fool the public.

Date: Saturday, 12 April 2014
Time: 1840 ET
To: Steve Quayle
From Doug Hagmann

At 1750 hours ET, I was contacted by my source within the Department of Homeland Security regarding the current situation at the Bundy Ranch. To put it bluntly, the people are being hoodwinked into believing that the situation is being resolved. It is not. It is a strategic de-escalation to fool the public. This source stated that the retreat of the BLM agents and the release of the cattle was actually crafted as a potential plan yesterday (Friday, 11 April 2014) based on the following:

1. A military assessment of satellite and drone surveillance imagery of the “patriot resistance. Drones under the control of the U.S. military were in use, taking real-time photographic images of not just the activity at the ranch, but "identifying the protesters, any arms and any supplies they might have or be carrying. “Mission accomplished.”
2. Real-time communication intercepts between patriots on-site and their off-site support;
3. Active monitoring of internet traffic regarding the coverage of events at ranch;
4. The monitoring of real-time video from the scene.

This source stated that a response by the patriot movement was anticipated, although exceeded their expectations. Although this was a real operation, they also ran this as a test case for future government operations once they saw the response. They were also actively managing the media, in some cases threatening to cut off White House access to anyone covering the event.

Despite this, the coverage by the alternative media began to create a public relations problem that was not easily managed. Note the lack of acknowledgment by the White House regarding this event. They are intentionally framing it as a state issue, despite the fact that all federal response has been and continues to be from the White House. There is a reason for this – a reason that has not been identified in any of the public reports to date. I will explain in further detail in a follow-up report on Sunday, after this source attends [redacted] to obtain more specific information about future federal operations. Regardless, according to this source, the government will take back ‘their land’ as they must to fulfill international obligations. It was never about grazing rights or anything other than (1) “securing clear title” to the land, and (2) further demonizing any patriotic resistance. It is my understanding, based on the information from this source, that it is a critical task to create a situation that will also advance their agenda of gun control and confiscation.

A more detailed report will follow on Sunday, 13 April 2014, with additional and much more specific information about their inside plans and future operations.PLEASE MAKE THIS VIRAL!

I think I'm going to start a "lessons learned" thread on this tomorrow or the next day, after things have quieted down a bit. But yes, social media played a big part in this. That's good, and bad. We were getting a ton of news fast, but not all of it was real. Which is par for the course when you're trying to gather intelligence. Every G/2 and S/2 officer I've ever known had gray hair.

YouTube played a huge part in this, too. Regular TV news didn't cover much of this, but internet videos more than made up for that lack of coverage.

And, as Fal3 said, this was a huge PR boost for the militia.

I'll have more on this in a day or two.

When I took Consigcor's post with the freqs into a series of Twitter posts, they started getting retweeted all over the place. I don't know what we were lacking but perhaps seeing HAM systems deployed or possibly deployed was but one element that raised the threat footprint. It's easy to strong-arm the cell phone companies to shut off towers, but it's not easy to shut down countless base stations and repeaters.

Whether this is a victory or not will not be known until the war is over. We still have half of April left, and it's coming upon "sacrifice time" when shit is bound to happen because the baby-rapers need their blood sacrifice. Who knows what they will pull. It can be anything from a windup toy shooting up a school to a suitcase nuke in a city (though cities comprise the main voting blocks of the states for the present controlling regime - who knows

And there's always May Day to watch out for.

I'm also sensing a "stone soup" approach to militia presence as well. There were reports of militia presence long before any evidence of it.

Strat, you know what I mean on this.

The worst thing the administration could suffer has come to pass. They have been both stood up to and embarrassed.

Knowing it as I do you can bet the farm there WILL be a retaliation. More than likely it will come in the dead of the night and involve killing.

Biggest question is can anybody get the evidence on a deal for the land between Harry Reid and the Chinese?

Like EVERYTHING else with the Dems and particularly this administration......FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Doug Hagmann sent The report to Steve.

While Steve has been known to post unfounded rumors...I find this report to be very plausible. I have no doubt that it is probably close to the truth.

Just wanted to add today..

I posted a couple comments on Breitbart about the lack of coverage...They were deleted...No foul language or remarks..not my bag...but still deleted..

I posted remarks about the vilification that seems to have started on Breitbart and the Blaze of Mr.Bundy and the folk with him....Deleted..

It reminded me so much of the way, the Davidians and the Weavers were made out to be by the media..

Then they did the same thing to the militia..

I know some of you like breitbart, I liked some of their stuff too..But they are a disinformation site, I now fully believe...

As for the Blaze..Beck has been calling for resistance for years, Yet today he is calling for the protesters to not confront the government..This is saying basically stay in your 1st amendment zone and let them do what they will..Blaze say one thing and does another..

Not a good way to build a movement..It is a good
way to confuse a movement..

Time is to stand and not back down...

Since Andrew Breitbart passed away, his websites have all gone downhill. "Big Government" is now nothing more than an outlet for the "mainstream" GOP. Mr. Breitbart would be turning over in his grave if he knew what it was today.

It was nice to see Glenn Reynolds finally mention the standoff , after it ended. Note the comments. They may not have known what to make of the situation, but we sure did.

I'd look for the Feds to strike back against those with the audacity to resist more covertly. Relentless IRS audits, EPA, OSHA, .... (Rest of the alphabet soup agencies) investigations into trumped up false charges till they find or fabricate something that sticks!

I believe THEY are scared out of their big heads over the November elections. We patriots need to make the 2010 Tea Party movement that swept congress look like a warm up for this main act 4 years later.

I fear they will not let this happen one way or another. I sence manure getting very close to large ventilators...

Video about.... How this may be a ploy to get the militia men to let their guard down, or leave ...

See all.... if can, but 9 minutes to 12 minutes is where he calls all the local motels, and ask if his Agents have shown up...

Not only do they get quite, they tell him all motels are full up..

One more thing we need to do, is get into the habit of taking a camera with us wherever we go.

If all you have is the camera on your phone, that's OK. But digital cameras have become a whole lot more powerful and versatile in the last few years, and a whole lot cheaper. I have a Canon with 64X zoom, and video capability, for about $100. And it fits in my shirt pocket. At that price, there's no reason why all of us don't have one.

As a tool for gathering intel, it's priceless. Let's get photos of our enemies, of their cars, of their license plates, of what they're doing, where they're doing it, where they're staying, everything.

If it's appropriate to do so, put it on the internet. If not, put it on a disk and save it. It may come in handy later on.

You need more than a camera.

How about live offsite streaming?

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/stream-live-video-smartphone/

Once it's offsite, there's no crushing the device with the jackboot to destroy the evidence. Now the usual operation of just getting that one cop "who will do anything since he got caught with the kiddy porn" to pull the patriot over on a backroad and execute him will involve a higher technical threat footprint. More specialists needed (who might not necessarily be a dirty cop who will do anything to stay out of prison) more equipment needing to be signed out, etc. Combine that with it being known that you are well trained and armed, and your threat footprint becomes enormous.

And from the perspective of evil who flee where none pursue, they will think they need the National Guard to do anything to you.

I never thought I would see this day

http://www.infowars.com/historic-feds-forced-to-surrender-to-american-citizens/

But we know the baby rapers and their minions don't take such losses well. And the hordes of statists wailing and gnashing their teeth today will gleefully see to a day when we are being whacked and stacked en mass.

Useless activism, asking the devil for "mercy", is now kicked away like a spent stage of a rocket. There's no more comfort in the useless status quo activism, the "meet, eat retreat" model foisted on us by so many bought off movements.

There is no turning back now.

The Bundy's had app 900 head of cattle. The terrorists stole around 320. They killed 130 momma cows and calves and shot 2 bulls. We spoke to Sandy (Bundy) Hardy last night and she said many of the cows had broken ribs and legs. As did some of the calves. A vet was on scene ready with 20lbs of formula for the calves. They separated the injured calves from the rest of the herd. They were taken to a facility to be nursed back to health before their return to the range. The Bundy family, when they were able to see their cattle documented the cows were tasered IN THE FACE AS WERE THE BABIES. The BLM and Park Rangers also destroyed the head that feeds water from the mountain to the corrals. They busted up pipes throughout the property so water could not travel to corals. They also set a number of corals on fire making them unusable. What happened there was completely ILLEGAL. Gov Sandoval publicly stated the Bundy's PAID EVERYTHING......it was Clark County WHO REFUSED TO CASH HIS CHECKS. America needs to wake up. This outright theft of property and destruction of livelihood is happening right now in TX & Utah. What we witnessed was something you would see in a communist country. The US Gov pointing guns at innocent Americans. Telling us 'WE WILL KILL YOU'. Well, WE decided we had enough and took a stand. We were a group of a little over 1000........and the Feds ran. If we could get all patriots together, imagine how fast we take this country back.

If these facts are true, what is the chance that it will be broadcast over the next few days on mainstream media.

There is something more sinister at work here.

From the Bundy ranch, about an hour ago:

Quote
Today has been another good day, Hoping that everything goes well, up to this point we have had more of the family back at the ranch then we have had in a while! It is great!

When I pulled up today I heard the laughter and playing of kids and none of that could have been possible without all of your help, I talked with Carol today and she wanted me to stress to all of you that without your love and support none of this would be possible. We are making progress and are hoping nothing but good comes from now on out!

Once again thank you for being brave and doing everything in your power to support us! We hope you have had a great Sunday.

Archangel1, that is exactly why I posted what Doug Hagmann had sent to Steve Quayle about the what & why they did what they did, to bring it to peoples attention that this IS FAR FROM OVER. I believe something else to be coming and aimed at destroying the Militia and the Patriot crowd in general, just my .2c.......

Colt, what you say is spot on.

Everyone needs to maintain a high state of situational awareness and group readiness.

And don't just rely on the net or phones. Monitor the various patriot frequencies. Don't have radios? Better hurry up its about to be game on.

I would reflect that this is a small victory and deeper plans may be in play. This may be a time of false security.

Supplies-
• There were approximately 300 cases of bottled water and other drinks.
• There was a running river accessible to us.
• Food was assorted cookies brownies and other sugar snacks.
• Saturday we had hotdogs, burgers, chicken salad. No real long term food sustainability.
• Ammo, some had thousands of rounds others came with an empty weapon.
• No medical supply point set up only personal supplies, IFAKS, first aid kits etc.
• No medical trauma area with medical volunteers.
• Shelter was a few outbuildings, cars, tents.
• Communications was CB,HAM,GMRS, FRMS. Batteries came from your own supply.
• Radios, only a few around, mix match of what everyone had brought for personal use.
• Electricity from small generator.
• Internet came from personal phones, ipads, 3G / 4G Hot spots.
• Small arms to include 1 Braveheart sword, and 1 Ninja sword, limited precision rifles or SDM’s.
Protest site located off a public road, small area used as a gathering point for the rally. General rally supporters parked vehicles in close proximity to event site. Camping took place wherever space allowed for comfortable sleeping conditions.
The rally site was located on a small out cropping just adjacent to the public road. The rally site was backed up against a gentle down slope which flattened out at the bottom. The surrounding terrain features were intermittent hills. One such hill was directly in front of the rally site. This hill was eventually occupied by Rebel Forces (RF).
Government Forces (GF) were observed at 2048 yards on top of a mesa overlooking the rally site. These GF’s had intermittent forces occupying the OP. 2 to 6 SUVs and Pickup truck style vehicles were observed parked next to 2 Easy up shelters. Long range observation devices and other devices had been seen at this OP.
Small LP/OP areas had been observed as close as 400 yards from the rally site. These LP/OPs had not been approached, only observed from a distance.
Improved fighting holes had been observed near the GF compound. Newly dug holes with dirt piled in front was observed along the perimeter of compound. During daylight hours these positions did not look occupied.
GF compound had high bermed walls made from dirt excavated on site by heavy equipment. Entrance to compound was controlled via a traffic control point. This seemed to be manned 24/7 with numerous over watch positions.
The entrance to the GF compound had a set of traffic cones blocking access. 25 yards behind the cones a dump truck was parked at an angle blocking vehicle traffic access. 25 yards behind the dump truck was a makeshift guard shack with built up cover positions nearby. Flood lights on extension booms were raised to approximately 30 feet in the air. These lights pointed out and made it difficult to see much detail inside the compound.
Flood lights on extension booms were positions around the entire GF compound. Likely avenues of approach had Flood lights positioned. One example is the dry riverbed. A dry area of river bed under the North and South bound Highway 15 were covered by Flood lights. During hours of darkness these lights were turned on but no one manned the lights. A string of yellow police tape was put up in front of the lights indicating an area not to be crossed. It is with high probability that these illuminated likely avenues of approach were all covered by rifle fire and probably sniper fire as well.
GF’s were staged at pull out locations just less than a mile North and South of the GF’s compound. During daylight hours, it seemed that SWAT, to include numerous MRAPs , numerous medical first response vehicles and several white school bus looking vehicles with bars on the exterior windows.
Numerous Ford F250 extended and crew cab trucks with camper shell that had no windows and a rear step through door with heavy locking mechanism on the door. These trucks were not marked. The drivers all wore the latest in multicam assault shirts and pants. No markings on uniform. One sticker on the back of all the trucks indicated the following (logo created to the best of observer’s recollection):
Command and control was not refined. You would have different people disseminating contradicting directions or directives to volunteers. Militia involvement was broken into “organized” and “un-organized”. Those who came as a unit, or met up at a Rally point (RP) and coalesced as a group were considered “organized”. Those who came on their own were considered “un-organized”.
An overall incident commander introduced himself and indicated he had been asked by the “family” to act as the onsite Militia overall commander. Organized Militias were asked to send command representatives to speak with the onsite commander. The organized Militia still followed there command, but the Militia command took its directives from the onsite commander.
Un-organized Militias were put under the command structure of the onsite commander.
Power struggle:
The power struggle between who is in control, who wants to be in control, and who thinks they are in control was very evident. Leaders meetings consisted of initial good information but quickly moved into less of a leadership briefing and more of a complaints and threats session.
Maps were handed out, expectations and assignments came quickly and were not fully vetted out by the “family” who apparently had other ideas of what they wanted or didn’t want the assisting Militia to do.
Specific issues came up with the look of Militia personnel wearing certain gear. Several self proclaimed head honchos came through and told Militia members to take off full battle rattle and only wear exposed pistol.
According to self proclaimed leader, he was acting on behalf of the “family” and Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers. This unknown leader went on to say it was an order that all Oath Keepers would not bear long rifles or full battle rattle as this would give off the impression we were looking for a fight.
(Personal note: If this is true that Rhodes put out an ordered to Oath Keepers who answered the call to show up and support this cause-most, at the drop of a dime and on their own expense -to not wear full battle rattle because it looks “mean”, well then that is CS (Chicken Shit).
If Rhodes really said that Oath Keepers couldn’t have the equipment to protect themselves because wearing said protective equipment makes it look like they came for a fight, well then I am done with Oath Keepers.
I don’t need to pay a yearly membership fee to a group in order to remember why and how to keep the numerous Oaths I have taken over the years. I’m unimpressed with Rhodes in how he sends out an emergency call for all Oath Keepers to show up and yet there was little support from Rhodes as far as leading his Oath Keepers. I’m sure he was too busy in the peace talk’s delegation to worry about putting out a short directive to his Oath Keepers as to expectations.
Oath Keepers did not have an official presence at this rally, if they did then the leadership sucked. The several organized Militia groups at the event had good to great leadership.)
A large number of able bodied people came to the Militia staging area and wanted to help. Many of these individuals had the following challenges:
I came with a rifle but I don’t have any ammo.
I came with a sword and I want to help.
I came and want to fight….right now!
I came to help but I don’t have any food, or water.
I came to help but…never mind it’s too hot out.
I came to help, I have lots of firearms, I have 1000 rounds 45 ACP, 4000 rounds 5.56, fully decked out in the latest tactical assault gear, but I’m 78 years old.
I came to help but all I really want to do is sit in the Militia compound and drink beer, tell war stories and eat this delicious pizza that was donated. (Drinking alcohol was outlawed by on scene commander the next day at the leadership meeting)
Radios:
Many of the leadership were worried about GF’s picking at the low hanging fruit of Militia members using HAM and other communication devices that required a license to operate. All of those communication devices that were deemed to require licensing were not used out of fear GF’s would use that as a means to throw down probable cause and arrest unlicensed operators.
A shortage of radios left many without communications. (Shoot, Move, …..) If you can’t communicate you aren’t helping to your full potential.
(Personal note: having a dozen or so standard talkabout radios or their equivalent- loaded into a go bag with batteries should be a team item. I don’t think you can show up to an event and have too many radios. COMSEC is an issue but that can be dealt with by other mitigating efforts. )
Tactical:
Lots of different everything on site, from the different weapons systems, to the type of gear, to the amount of sustainability, to the physical abilities, to the levels of tactical knowledge and leadership and experience.
Lots of door kickers. It looked like a lot of the tactical outfits were geared more toward the 1 hour raid / door kicking mission than geared toward the open desert AO we were in. Load out is important, AO considerations are very important.
Having precision long range capabilities are important and was lacking. SDM’s were lacking. Knowing how to deploy your resources such as snipers, scouts, plain clothes intel collectors etc was lacking.
Lots of amazing men and women onsite that came prepared, but physically, in my estimation would not be a good fit for combat operations. Auxiliary YES !
Operational differences were obvious. Some organized units had a handle on how they did things. It was evident this was frustrating to them when they worked with others Militia units that either didn’t do it their way or didn’t have a way of doing things.
Leadership challenges were also obvious. If you are going to lead, then lead. Don’t apologize for leading or putting out orders. Others see that as a sign you are not confident in the plan. This will affect the subordinates as they may feel the leadership is not competent due to second guessing, apologizing, and lack of overall confidence.
Esprit de corps:
Every single person I met at the rally / operation was dedicated to peacefully showing the .gov folks that we are not afraid any longer. The main theme was that despite the long running battle between the Bundy family and the government, most people were there to show support for the overall over-reaction of the government these last few weeks.
Personal feelings on why I attended the rally / operation:
I didn’t get motivated to spend $300.00 in fuel and other costs associated in showing up at the rally / operation due to the cattle. I was motivated to show up because of the way the government is treating this family. I showed up because I am tired of MRAPs being the first interaction with the government.
I was motivated to show up because this fight is not mine, but it does have implications to my future. If I conducted a full litmus test on every fact and fact checked those facts…when would I ever have the time or energy to act? I acted because what I had observed with my own eyes, because of what I had read and heard through open source news lead me to believe this was an effort worth my support.
I don’t want to be that person that runs off half cocked not fully thinking through things before acting, but I don’t want to be that person that over analyses everything to the extent of not being able to act or react when the time comes.
I had heard that others on the interwebs are saying that the Patriots that showed up in support of the Bundy Ranch rally / operation are idiots. To each their own, If this rally wasn’t important enough to show up for due to the facts, then what do those calling us idiots feel is an appropriate rally / operation to show up for?
When the fight isn’t your own it is easy to find all the reasons not to support it, until those that we are all resisting are at YOUR front door. Who will you call then? Will you call more of the same folk that believe they must not show up for YOUR rally/ operation because they need to be in 100 % agreement with all of your facts, assertions, and actions?
Maybe when the fight is at your front door you will be happy to know that I and others like me will show up just because we are on the same team.
We support each other, we don’t always agree with each other but at the heart of all matters we are in total agreement that Freedom, Justice, the Constitution, and limited government are the tenants which we believe in and will support no questions asked 24 / 7 – 365.
Even when we just get done with a long days work, low on funds, and would rather stay home with our families, we will load up our equipment fuel our vehicles and at our own peril show up and stand next to you for YOUR cause too.
As long as there are those brave enough to stand up against a tyrannical government for a cause they believe in, then I will continue to be “idiot” enough to show up and stand alongside them. I hope that when I am standing up for my cause that there will be someone to stand alongside me during my test of courage.

Intel source: Sunday update

13 April 2014: Special Note: As I stated in my report yesterday, additional information would be forthcoming today (Sunday). To those who object to the lateness of the hour for this report, it should be understood that I rely on my sources at their “convenience” (although convenience does not exist in the realm of exposing the agenda of the feds). Also, this is still a dynamic situation, meaning that federal assets and plans are still in play.

Narrative: As indicated in my report dated yesterday, 12 April 2014, I have been in contact with my primary source within the DHS as well as a secondary source outside of the DC area on multiple occasions throughout today. It is important for people to understand that the “breakdown” of the federal exercise is nearly as methodical and time consuming as the run-up to their arrival. The situation is still fluid, and there are federal assets still being debriefed. Based on the information obtained from both sources who are known to this investigator but who are requesting anonymity for obvious reasons, however, the federal initiative to claim the land at the center of controversy in Nevada remains intact. Perhaps the most important information derived from both contacts is that the situation is not over. In the words of the DHS source, “they [the BLM and other support agencies] will be back.”

According to both sources, plans are being made to physically return on or about the date of the “American Spring,” which is scheduled for 16 May 2014. The purpose for choosing that date or approximate time period should be obvious. The most vocal and visible leaders of the patriot movement will be busy organizing and attending the DC event. It is during this period that the BLM and support agencies, by way of their physical presence combined with court actions, is intended.

Additionally, I was advised by a separate intelligence source that it is important for us in the patriot movement to understand that the situation is much more important to the federal government than just the visible components , or the stand-off, at the Bundy ranch alone. Consider the following:

The current leadership wants to create [2014] as “the summer of rage.” They are astutely aware of the difference in public perception between the rural population and the urban areas, and intend to shape public perception against the patriot movement. They are already spinning the situation at the Bundy ranch into a “display of reasonableness” exhibited by the BLM, DHS and all federal agencies.

The current leadership is attempting to ramp up the rhetoric in the mainstream media about the dangers of the patriotic movement and the threat they posed to life, limb and liberty. Of course, this is untrue. The intent is to cast an even wider net of anti-gun ownership initiatives over those displaying such “radical” tendencies as shown at the Bundy ranch.

It is important to note that the intelligence source contacted by this investigator stressed that the leadership has every intention to stretch out future stand-offs and events, as such ultimately work to (or will be spun) to their benefit. It is their intent to “game the resolve and practicality of the people.

Additionally, it must be noted that Cliven Bundy is literally “the last man standing” in the way of this federal land grab. Over four dozen ranchers have fallen victim to the federal land grabs. Clear title to the state-owned land cannot be claimed unless and until all claims to that land, (the Bundy presence) can be removed. As many already know, the intent is for the federal government to hold clear title as collateral and ultimately conveyance to global interests. While many are aware of its value to Harry Reid and others, this is also about the resources under the ground.

Additional updates will be provided as further data is developed from source – and not before.

Good analysis and learning points. Proud too see some people still show up for the reason, not for the season.

Good AAR posted by Statiotes- whoever the source is, the AAR had some great nuggets of info.

  • Things that make you go hmm- like the need to self-deploy logistically sufficient for a number of days. At least 3 minimum and better if 7-14 days self sufficient.
  • Command and Control. Always a challenge. Good idea on go bag full of radios for a team.
  • Group C2. Maybe ICS structure can provide a framework for events.
  • Just like insurgents in Iraq and AFG- have a camera man to record ops.
  • Need reach-back info ops capabilities. Do you have a twitter account? I don't but will get one. Have to have ways to get the message out.
  • Movement needs deployable medical, commo and logistics capabilities/units.

Lots of good info to digest, wargame or do a what if drill to see how it might apply in your AO.

creating chaos is a method not a goal. It is a means but not an end. There must be more going on we must get to the bottom of this...

And Leaders should not have to pull essential data out of intelligence products. It should be prepared in a prioritized format based off of the leaders needs. Raw data and intelligence must be readily available for the leader as well.

As I observe the events unfold I have noticed consistently the inaccuracy of initial reports.

This proves Gen.Patton's Maxim " Never believe the first report, But believe that a more accurate report will follow"

The guys on ground from this board I thank you for doing what you did. And as for the Oath keepers. Any man who refuses to lead from the front should be stripped of leadership. I don't trust them(Leadership) . I don't count on them(leadership and I don't support them. Fair weather patriots(leadership) who scamper when the real poop hits the fan. The members of that organization deserve a better leader than some buffoon who swaggers and yet wears the shackles with pride.

And as far as the Comms go CSC has hammered that for years so has ringsider, Butler County OUM, and Etech. Get it together.

And we have many a medic on this board who can assist with the band aids

Anyone who names a fed as a source of information is going to get a visit from other not so nice agencies. Especially if it was real information.

This should be obvious to all here. misinformation is disinformation.

I just read a report on Nationalreport.net, That says undercover agents pretending to be protestors have made 16 arrests of Militia members and charged them with Domestic Terrorism. Has anyone else seen this ? Is it true ? Or is it a Bogis Story ? SEMPER FI

The Bundy Ranch has photos of cattle that have been shot . They say they have removed the bullets with a lawyer present, and will attempt to find out who shot them.

Correct under the majority of circumstances. You can't go burning a high value informant or sympathizer. I have read a lot about. The FBI semi-publicly saying they were on An investigation against Harry Reid over these land grab corruption deals anyway then were officially blocked from investigating further. I have this sneaking suspicion that they are on an alternate plan to use their own controlled militia factions to fight the BLM on this since they can't do it officially.

Indeed. That's why I don't see this "American Spring" thing being very productive. I don't know ANY Militiamen who are going. It will just be a bunch of activists.

HOWEVER, if they are fired upon we'll be responding.

Pardon the delay, but I am now on the ground at the Bundy Ranch operation.

Didn't get in until I had been up for about 27 hours straight (no sleep on the planes because of screaming babies, sitting in an aisle seat and being mugged by lurching passengers and kamikaze beverage carts driven by insane stewardesses -- Delta, what can I tell you). My first few hours on scene were very instructive. Oath Keepers is doing a great job supporting the security operation with logistics and other support. Plenty of Oath Keepers and Three Percenters in the group. There is also an outer encampment that seems to be inhabited largely by fruits and nuts. The EBGs (evil bad guys) are certainly testing the perimeter and playing all sorts of psywar games -- which is being handled by competent folks in the security detail. The problem is that there are now too few to rotate out for rest -- and it is important that folks be fresh when faced with the various threats, especially those generated by the fruits and nuts. (Stewart Rhodes, who brought me from the airport around 0200HRS, immediately took over a post from a fatigued trooper for the rest of the night.) There is no margin for error, so fresh bodies are needed. Folks who have been holding back because of the uncertainty generated by some of the disinformation and press antics by the fruits and nuts need not worry. There are competent people in charge of the inner ring. My laptop's ability to mesh with wifi has gone by the wayside as I wasn't able to get on the Net at the Columbus and Atlanta airports. Now, having reported in, I'm going to get something to eat and then crash.

Report: Bundy Family Unearths BLM Mass Cattle Grave

“I feel that this needs to be put out for the public to see”

Mikael Thalen
Prison Planet.com
April 20, 2014

New photos released by the Bundy family Sunday provided more evidence to the claim that the Bureau of Land Management was illegally killing and burying confiscated cattle.

Posted to the official Bundy Ranch Facebook page, the gruesome image shows several dead cattle being removed from a makeshift grave discovered just this weekend.

“Digging up 1 of the HUGE holes where they threw the cows that they had ran to death or shot,” the picture’s description reads. “I feel that this NEEDS to be put out for the public to see.”

The picture backs up reports by several people including Nevada assemblywoman Michele Fiore, who commented on the BLM’s cattle graves last Tuesday.

“Near their compound, right off the highway, they were digging holes,” Fiore said. “They tried to bury some cows on the compound, but I guess they didn’t dig the hole deep enough, so they throw a cow in and they put dirt over him and you have cows’ legs sticking up out of the dirt.”

Fiore also displayed several photos on her Twitter account Sunday, labeling the incident the “BLM Massacre.”

Although the BLM’s court order only permitted the agency to seize Bundy’s cattle, federal agents have thus far already admitted to shooting and killing two prized bulls, claiming the animals were a “safety hazard.”

Video from the area also revealed holes in water tanks, a smashed tortoise burrow, as well as destroyed fences and water lines.

“They had total control of this land for one week, and look at the destruction they did in one week,” Corey Houston, family friend of Cliven Bundy, told Fox News last week. “Nowhere in the court order that I saw does it say that they can destroy infrastructure, destroy corrals, tanks … desert environment, shoot cattle.”

Separate images taken from an airplane also uncovered hundreds of cattle stuffed into small pens on a BLM compound, prompting the FAA to order a no-fly zone over the area.

Despite a clear and violent overreach by the BLM, Nevada Senator Harry Reid has responded to the incident by calling Bundy and his supporters “domestic terrorists.”

“There were hundreds, hundreds of people from around the country that came there,” Reid said at an event in Las Vegas. “They had sniper rifles in the freeway. They had weapons, automatic weapons. They had children lined up. They wanted to make sure they got hurt first … What if others tried the same thing?”

Unsurprisingly, proof of automatic weapons being present during the stand off between peaceful protesters and the BLM was not provided by Reid. Video of the incident also clearly shows only men and woman, most of whom were unarmed, lined up peacefully.

Whether it be assaulting a cancer survivor, attacking a pregnant woman, tasereing protesters, killing animals or unleashing an attack dog, all extreme behavior has exclusively come from the BLM.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. 19 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

Yesterday, I spent a blessed Easter in the desert of Nevada on the banks of the Virgin River. At ten in the morning, Ryan Bundy led a service of prayer, reflection and testimony at the gooseneck trailer/stage that had served as my speaker's platform the day before. It was a simple service, exquisitely beautiful in its simplicity and sincerity. Folks got up and shared what was on their hearts as God chose to move them, and I did so as well. It is my firm belief that it is impossible not to see the hand of God in the events of the past weeks. As I was speaking, semi-automatic rifle fire echoed from the hills above the river. The volunteers were going through a morning training exercise. It seemed to profane the day and the moment, yet it was a poignant reminder of the situation that the Bundys find themselves thrust into in the name of principle, a reminder of the evil that prowls right outside their door, and of the necessity of good men and women from all over the country to stand between them. God, I observed to the small gathering, might forgive us for the seemingly disrespectful interruption, knowing of that necessity.

Jerry DeLemus

After the service, I hitched a ride up the road to the volunteer base camp, where Jerry, the tactical commander of the Oath Keeper-supported security force led another service for the troops from Chapter Six of Ephesians. Somehow, hearing Paul's words about pulling on the full armor of God there, in that setting, as I looked from one face to the other of these volunteers -- who have come so far and risked so much already and who still risk all in a confrontation of right and wrong with the militarized police forces of the most powerful government on the planet -- I shuddered with the power of the image, the emotion of that moment, unchanging since the Founding, immortal in its moral force.

There is a feeling among those who merely pay attention to the news cycle that this is somehow over, that the potential for disaster has been averted. It has not. The men and women dug in on the banks of the Virgin River understand that and are in it for the long haul. It ain't over until it's over. The defensive operation, almost despairingly comic in its early days of confusion, is coming together now. Volunteers come in, others leave, but will be back. The logistics, fueled by the generous donations of money and material from all over the country, are coming together, as are the various "shops" of planning, operations, communications and support. The inevitable snitches, most of them painfully obvious, have nothing to report to their masters for no laws are being broken. The paid provocateurs are gradually tipping their hands as well. Jerry, his hardy band of mission-focused veterans, and the Oath Keepers and Three Percenters who form the teeth of the teams in overwatch and the muscle of the logistics tail are doing pretty well, thank you very much, despite all the psy-war games played by the Feds, including a regular but invisible bombardment of all of the various forms of our communications by the Feds. (Notice that we still haven't been able to get the videos of Saturday's speeches on YouTube? Your tax dollars at work.)

Today I must fly out of here, having helped, I hope, in my own small way. Left behind will be that determined minority of increasingly confident and competent volunteers. I wish I didn't have to leave. My instincts cry out to stay. But I have other duties that must be seen to. Yet, I know I will be back. These men and women are where God placed them at this precise moment and place in history, carrying out the function of that "well-regulated militia" that the Founders intended to defend the people in times such as these. They represent the shield, the armor, of a free people. They are also a tripwire. The Feds must go through them -- they must kill them -- to get to the Bundys. The Feds know this, and they are hesitant about what will happen if they try. That is called strategic uncertainty. And in the present context, that is a very good thing. They need to be cautious.

So I fly out today. But the volunteers are digging in along the Virgin River for the long haul. I have a feeling that they will still be there when I get back, keeping the Bundys safe from the evil intentions of armed bureaucrats. And as the sun rose over the desert on Easter Sunday, it was brought home to me by those twin services that here is a cause worth living for and returning to -- it is a cause worth fighting and dying for as well. Jerry and his volunteers of indomitable spirit know this. They have taken the measure of the situation, the weight of their duty, and they have acted.

They are digging in along the Virgin River -- a fragile human tripwire arrayed against an out-of-control imperial federal government that ought to know better. They are digging in, and they need your support, in whatever way you can give it.

"The time for war has not yet come, but it will come and that soon, and when it does come, my advice is to draw the sword and throw away the scabbard." Gen. T.J. Jackson, March 1861

I use the FB social media for the sheer size of it,access to large numbers, but today a the Idaho militia got some camera time on local media, they denounced anybody fighting tyranny to which I suggested they stay on the porch where they are safe, unfriended and blocked.

It is a shame, but nurse-maid militia is it's own worst enemy.

Courage is being afraid and saddling up anyway .

I never used Facebook much until recently. There's a lot of good info on it, but also a ton of rumors, half truths, and outright lies. Sorting through all the crap can be a chore.

I just found a group calling themselves the Oklahoma Volunteer Militia. They claim to have 50,000 people, so it's rather curious I never heard of them until yesterday. I sent them an invite, so maybe they'll show up.

FB is no ones friend Using it to wade through the sheep in hopes of finding a brave sheep is tantamount to attacking windmills in the beliefs that they are dragons. They (the sheep of many buggers)have woken up to the reality. And they have accepted their role as sheep. They like it. They never have to take the risk of being the sheep dog. And as long as they are not in England they wont be buggered without representation.

Its a fact. you cant save everybody. the ones who said to hell with being a sheep have already left the flock.

Less than 1 percent at any given time are standing up with courage. The rest of the population is figuring out their favorite position for the nailing.

Strat your agrarian community idea is spot on.

I know many hate to hear it...

But it was twitter and Facebook that lead the way in gathering support for Bundy..

It was Alex Jones and drudge that lead the media..

Breitbart, Blaze and others were against Bundy till it was obvious that the story was not what the feds said..

MSNBC and some lefty sites still are vilifying the Patriots and Bundy, but that's expected.

Beck was completely in Reids corner till it look so terrible, he went quite about it, then started putting out little stories on Bundy's side..

He is now trying to pivot because he was on the wrong side..TOO many on the wrong side of this... Faux Patriots and news media being outed by this...IMHO...

I believe in absolute Freedom, as little interference from any government as possible...And I'll fight any man trying to take that away from me.

The actual number is one tenth of one percent but my FB account is different from the norm, I only used it for political activism, 400 of those FB friends are people I know face to face and many I have trained and a few of the FB friends have friend list in 50,000 so with a little time we can reach a million even if only a tenth of a percent of those contribute a dollar it still enabled me to send 20 people with rifles to the Bundy ranch that other-wise could not afford the gas money, ammo rifles etc .

I didn't know about the Bundy Ranch until Strat did a Facebook post about it. There's a lot to dislike about social media in general and Facebook in particular, but overall it's a positive. No one would have ever heard about the Bundy Ranch without Facebook, or about the Iranian demonstrations a few years ago without Twitter.

The idea is to think of social media as a force multiplier, and learn how to best use it to our advantage.

Please don't take this as me busting on you, but this report can do very little to build the intel picture because-

(A) We don't know the origin of the report so we can not evaluate the source or try to acquire more detail from that source
(B) What actions on our part does this information facilitate? Should we send every rifle we have to the Ranch? Some other point that might be more effective in achieving a strategic goal we have?
(C) How large in the threat? What special equipment are they using, if any? How will I recognize them?
(D) How can I find out how this report was vetted, so it has a low probability of being part of a deception directed against my unit?

I would rather have no information than bad information.

Perhaps it is time for an extra Nms under security. I wondered about this in the 90s.
My suggested answer is that each unit who forms under the NMS create a unit ID. The card could have what the Military ID card does so no privacy issues rise.
1. Photo
2. Name in lower upper case. f,m,l
3. Unit
4. On back is a copy of the oath
5. On back is the red imprint of the right trigger finger
(if missing use one you shoot with)
6. On back is your known signature as you use it.
7. On back is the name and signature of the issuing commander.

While these are cheap to make on business cards they, if stored digitally on an encrypted file also easy to send to the mission commander, or carry on an encrypted thumb drive.

Still no sure thing it is better than a guess and harder for local leo to thwart or duplicate. Remember that under the Dick Act each militia soldier needs what every soldier has.
Uniform with patch and name tape
Identification

Those who wish to fly under all radar can provide other id as needed, but you can't have it both ways. You can't represent the people if you don't exist.

It seems that at least some of Cliven Bundy's supporters are jumping ship, since he apparently made a faux pas and said some derogatory things about black people.

Since Patriots and Conservatives in general are already being vilified just for not supporting the liberal agenda, we must be extra careful to not make a gift of any more ammunition that can be used against us to the enemy.

Just saw two version of the interview. Full version speaks many truths. The shorten version typical liberal dribble to cause division of the races. This just shows they the smoke and mirror system are desperate.

IMO
Ranchers should stick to ranches, and keep their answers to less than 6 words.
The folks from the support should do the PAO business.

Those folks with political futures will always jump ship when their political livelihood gets imperiled! If Mr Bundy has a message beyond the hole full of shot cows it should be put on HIS web page so he can see the editing.

Like I said before. This action is very expensive to a lot of the fighters personally. There needs to be a plan for relief fighters organized outside the Ranch so no one goes broke. The BLM has plenty of money and can extend this a long way.

Unedited Video Shows Bundy Making Pro-Black, Pro-Mexican Comments

Media censors footage to spin remarks as racist

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
April 25, 2014

The controversy over Cliven Bundy’s “racist” remarks has taken a new turn after longer unedited footage emerged showing the Nevada cattle rancher making pro-black and pro-Mexican comments that were excised out of media reports.

The full clip illustrates how the original New York Times report edited out statements made by Bundy both before and after his supposedly “racist” remarks, which when taken in their full context actually constitute a pro-minority position. Media Matters also cut out these crucial comments from their YouTube upload of Bundy’s remarks.

Bundy’s full comments are reprinted below, with the parts not printed by the New York Times and other media outlets highlighted in bold.

…” and so what I’ve testified to ya’, I was in the WATTS riot, I seen the beginning fire and I seen the last fire. What I seen is civil disturbance. People are not happy, people is thinking they did not have their freedom; they didn’t have these things, and they didn’t have them.

We’ve progressed quite a bit from that day until now, and sure don’t want to go back; we sure don’t want the colored people to go back to that point; we sure don’t want the Mexican people to go back to that point; and we can make a difference right now by taking care of some of these bureaucracies, and do it in a peaceful way.

Let me tell.. talk to you about the Mexicans, and these are just things I know about the negroes. I want to tell you one more thing I know about the negro.

When I go, went, go to Las Vegas, North Las Vegas; and I would see these little government houses, and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids…. and there was always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch. They didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for the kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for the young girls to do.

And because they were basically on government subsidy – so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never, they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered are they were better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things? Or are they better off under government subsidy?

You know they didn’t get more freedom, uh they got less freedom – they got less family life, and their happiness -you could see it in their faces- they were not happy sitting on that concrete sidewalk. Down there they was probably growing their turnips – so that’s all government, that’s not freedom.

Now, let me talk about the Spanish people. You know I understand that they come over here against our constitution and cross our borders. But they’re here and they’re people – and I’ve worked side-by-side a lot of them.

Don’t tell me they don’t work, and don’t tell me they don’t pay taxes. And don’t tell me they don’t have better family structure than most of us white people. When you see those Mexican families, they’re together, they picnic together, they’re spending their time together, and I’ll tell you in my way of thinking they’re awful nice people.

And we need to have those people join us and be with us…. not, not come to our party.

While Bundy’s use of terms such as “negro,” “colored people” and references to picking cotton are undoubtedly politically incorrect (though not unsurprising for an 80-year-old farmer), when taken in its full context, his argument is actually anti-racist in that it laments the plight of black families who have been caught in the trap of dependency on government.

The comments that were also vehemently pro-Mexican were not included in any of the mainstream reports which smeared Bundy as a racist.

“What’s more sad than the refusal to openly discuss the issues – is how quickly the conservative right is willing to throw Bundy to the wolves based solely on the New York Times and Media Matters opinion,” writes the Conservative Treehouse blog, noting that Bundy’s comments are no more controversial than those made by Shirley Sherrod, who was staunchly defended by leftists.

While Bundy’s remarks have been spun as a racist call for a return to slavery, he is clearly using references to slavery only to make a point that blacks are no better off living under the economic slavery of the welfare state.

Furthermore, Bundy’s argument that, “They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail,” is clearly directed at the government’s treatment of black people and is therefore a defense of and not an attack on black Americans.

“It is 100% clear that Cliven Bundy is not saying that blacks should be slaves picking cotton, but that the federal government has created conditions for them so terrible, that their current situation may actually be worse,” writes Jack Flash. “And he’s not blaming blacks for the issues of abortions, and crime and broken families, he’s blaming the Feds. This is the exact opposite of a racist, this is an advocate for the welfare and best interests of blacks. Racist? Why is he praising Mexicans as better than whites, if he’s some sort of white supremacist racist?”

HOAX EXPOSED: Full Clip Of Cliven Bundy’s Non-Racist, Pro-Black, Pro-Mexican, Anti-Government Remarks Vs. NYTimes’ Deceptively Edited Version

http://patdollard.com/2014/04/shock...hat-cliven-bundy-is-actually-an-advocat/

CLIVEN BUNDY IS ACTUALLY AN ADVOCATE FOR BLACKS, HISPANICS

Watch Bundy explain how we need to keep things from going backwards for blacks, and how the Federal government has created a neo-slave class via entitlement dependency that is so bad it is arguably worse than plantation slavery was. It is 100% clear that Cliven Bundy is not saying that blacks should be slaves picking cotton, but that the Federal government has created conditions for them so terrible, that their current situation may actually be worse. (If you are person of low intelligence, the fact that that is his point might be too hard for you to understand.) And he’s not blaming blacks for the issues of abortions, and crime and broken families, he’s blaming the Feds. This is the exact opposite of a racist, this is an advocate for the welfare and best interests of blacks. And just as importantly, you’ll at the end of the video he gives passionate praise and defense of hispanic illegal aliens, lauding them for “better family structures than most white peoples’” Racist? Why is he praising Mexicans as better than whites, if he’s some sort of white supremacist racist?. Take a hike all you lying, character-assassinating, leftist pieces of dog shit.

H/T Velvet Hammer VIA IRONIC SURREALISM

Now watch the edited version of Bundy’s remarks as promoted by the left-wing Media Matters and as reported in the NY Times:

"The time for war has not yet come, but it will come and that soon, and when it does come, my advice is to draw the sword and throw away the scabbard." Gen. T.J. Jackson, March 1861

We need to be correcting the mainstream media's spin everywhere we can. And we need to do it ASAP. Facebook, left-wing blogs, everywhere. We're not going to change what they report, of course, but the people reading them will get the truth. And while we're at it, let's expose the inherent racism of the left, too.

For OPSEC reasons, it seems like this is something that should be done the day of or day before deployment. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I concur. That or they are stored safe from when the soldier is vetted and printed and lamanated as they reach 72 hours, then hand out at jump time.

Sides in the Media wars are forming...Controlled opposition Glenn beck, Who has been against Bundy from the get go...Has really ramped up his vitriol..

He has told people to rise for years..Then when some one makes a stand Fed Beck and his 5 Former FBI controllers come out and tell people to submit..

He has attacked Bundy, Alex Jones and anyone else who has been supporting Bundy...

I wondered if he was just supporting the powerful Mormons against a weaker Mormon, But it can't be that simple..

I think that close to the end of his Fox news days he was warned and then removed from the air for not backing down, but they got to him somehow, either his NSA file or he was always in their pockets..

I believe in absolute Freedom, as little interference from any government as possible...And I'll fight any man trying to take that away from me.

Bundy is back on the Drudge Report, with a couple articles asserting he is not a racist and that his remarks were taken out of context. I don't know if Hannity and the politicians will come back, but it looks like we're winning this round, too.

Beck is wanting to go towards influencing the bulk of the population by aiming at the culture like the libs have done for the last 50+ years. I think he's trying to play this one on the "down low" not wanting to harm his credibility by siding with "radicals" as the MSM paints us. I think he is on our side, but like Peter he is denying us 3x before the cock crows. I think much of what he speaks of is supporting the ideals of limited government, maximizing individual, family and community responsibility...

I like Mark Levin. Some nights I can catch the Herman Cain show out of OK City, I like him a lot also.

The real Truth Of Bundy Ranch I was there

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/statecommander-california/2014/04/22/battle-for-bunkerville

Known fact Blackwater was there, I confronted a Blackwater mercenary shit head
known fact I located stolen Cattle found where they were being taken to in California

Known fact I uncovered a massive coverup involving Dirty Harry Reed . and the little known US Geological survey report on not what was above the ground ,
cattle endangered turtles .Horsehit but was what was under the ground and fight for mineral rights precous silver, gold and rare minerals used in building rockets
that report was delivered to Cliven Bundy .

Bryan, I would LOVE PROOF of the things you assert, but unfortunately second hand 'hear say' is NOT EVIDENCE you can enter in court. No matter what you say in a 'blog', it is NOT EVIDENCE!

Now how do you know folks are Blackwater employees? If you found 'stolen cattle' why wasn't the Sheriff taken to where they were so they could have been recovered? What actual evidence did you find that we could use against Harry Reed? BTW have you actually seen that report on the minerals?

Care to answer MY questions? They are simple compared what you would face from Lawyers while you would be on the stand testifying.
