Mexican Cartel Stockpiling Grenade Launchers at Texas Border

Breitbart Texas

by Cartel Chronicles 23 Jan 2017

PIEDRAS NEGRAS, Coahuila — The Mexican cartel known as Los Zetas has been stockpiling Soviet-era rocket propelled grenades, body armor, assault rifles, and ammunition in this border city.

The discovery was made after a special state police unit designed to clash head-on with cartels, gathered intelligence about a business being used to stockpile weapons, information provided to Breitbart Texas by Coahuila authorities revealed.

Following their investigation and after receiving an anonymous tip about a truck with gunmen arriving at the business, investigators obtained a search warrant and had members of Fuerza Coahuila raid a local junkyard in the Buena Vista neighborhood of the city. Because of the high-risk operation, federal police officers and the military arrived to the house to provide backup.

Authorities were not able to locate the gunmen but found five, Soviet-era rocket-propelled grenades, a launcher, 15 tactical vests with bulletproof metal plates, assault rifles, various loaded ammunition magazines, 19 marijuana bundles, and an SUV without license plates.

As Breitbart Texas has been reporting, the Cartel Del Noreste faction of the Los Zetas continues to be a dominant criminal organization in Coahuila. That faction of Los Zetas is currently fighting with another known as Los Zetas Vieja Escuela over control of lucrative drug trafficking routes in this state as well as Tamaulipas and Nuevo León.

The raging war between the two factions has led to almost daily kidnappings, gun battles, beheadings, dismemberments, and other gory executions. Both factions have previously used RPGs not only in their fights, but also to threaten each other through various messages, Breitbart Texas reported.

The Los Zetas cartel is also the criminal organization that is responsible for the kidnapping, murder and incineration of more than 300 victims, including women and children from the rural communities of Allende and Cinco Manantiales. Between 2011 and 2013, when the murders took place, half of the victims were taken to the Piedras Negras state prison where gunmen used 55-gallon drums to incinerate the human remains. Others were incinerated at local ranches. The case continues to be largely ignored by U.S. mainstream media.

Editor’s Note: Breitbart Texas traveled to the Mexican States of Tamaulipas, Coahuila and Nuevo León to recruit citizen journalists willing to risk their lives and expose the cartels silencing their communities. The writers would face certain death at the hands of the various cartels that operate in those areas including the Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas if a pseudonym were not used. Breitbart Texas’ Cartel Chronicles are published in both English and in their original Spanish. This article was written by “J.M. Martinez” from Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

Yeah, basically the cartels are just factions of the elite Mexican military and police.

Their influence and connections reach well into US law enforcement and the military to some extent, but the battleground is still usually in Mexico and the result of harder to get profits in a declining drug trade.

Life liberty, and the pursuit of those who threaten them.

Jaw Dropping – Mexican Official Threatens to Unleash Cartels, Flood U.S. With Drugs and Narcotics….

Posted on January 29, 2017 by sundance

If people had doubts about the Mexican government being influenced and controlled by drug cartels, well, they can put that doubt away.

In a stunning segment on Fareed Zakaria’s CNN broadcast today Mexico’s former foreign minister, Jorge Castaneda, states the Mexican government is willing to counter U.S. President Donald Trump policy by unleashing drug cartels upon the U.S. border.

Watch, and more importantly LISTEN, to his words at 02:10 below:

This is the most politically explosive admission by the Mexican government in the past decade. Even Fareed Zakaria realized what was being threatened and quickly attempted to redirect the conversation.

Castaneda is openly admitting a willingness to promote drug trafficking. Additionally, Jorge Castaneda is so proud of the threat, he even posted a video of the discussion on his own YouTube page.

However, don’t expect the video to remain in place too long, because the implications here are so politically explosive, and the admission so brutally obvious and threatening, it could undermine the entire argument of the Mexican government and expose an open secret of collusion they would prefer to remain hidden.

And excellent article written in December of 2016 outlines the strategy of Castaneda as it pertains to fighting Donald Trumps efforts. –SEE HERE–

Castaneda not only threatens to send drugs, he also threatens to flood the United States will illegal South Americans and openly admits Mexico could stop the border crossings if it wanted to, but instead chooses to use immigration as a weapon against the United States.

(Via VDare) […] He openly states Mexico should use Central American immigration as a weapon against us [Mexico can use Central-American immigration as bargaining chip with Trump, Univision, December 8, 2016]:

There has been a surge in Central American immigrants heading for the United States since Donald Trump won the Election in November, according to several initial reports… If this is the case, it is only logical. Trump has vowed to build his wall. It does not matter if Mexico will pay for it or even if the threat is true. It makes perfect sense for anybody hoping to make it to the United States, from Salvador, Honduras or Guatemala, to do so before any wall is put up….If they have relatives in the United States, or if they think that their reception will be better with President Barack Obama still in power until January 20, then their decision is perfectly rational.

Castaneda recounts how during the Surge of 2014, the Obama Administration pressured Mexico:

When the first wave of unaccompanied minors came to the United States in July 2014, Mexico complied with the White House request to cooperate in stopping the flow of immigrants. The logic behind it was sound. The goal was to avoid sparking anti-immigrant hysteria in the United States precisely when immigration reform seemed set to prosper.

My italics! By “hysteria,” Castaneda means provoking Americans who want a sane American immigration policy. (read more)

Ex-Official Calls on Mexico to Unleash Drug Cartels to Punish Trump

Suggests drugs should be allowed to flow into U.S.

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - January 31, 2017

Former Secretary of Foreign Affairs Jorge Castañeda has called on Mexico to punish President Trump for his actions on deporting illegal immigrants and building a border wall by allowing criminal cartels to run drugs into the United States.

During an interview with CNN’s Fareed Zakaria, Castañeda suggested that drug cartels could be unleashed on the U.S. as retribution for Trump’s aggressive stance towards Mexico.

“Mexico has a lot of negotiating chips in this matter, Fareed, but it also has measures we could take in other areas,” said Castañeda. “For example, the drugs that come through Mexico from South America, or the drugs that are produced here in Mexico all go to the United States. This is not our problem. We have been cooperating with the United States for many years on these issues because they’ve asked us to and because we have a friendly, trustful relationship. If that relationship disappears, the reasons for cooperation also disappear.”

Castañeda is clearly suggesting that Mexican authorities could take a hands off approach to stopping drug traffickers as part of a revenge attack against Trump.

“The implications are astoundingly clear – Mexico would consider exporting chaos and violence into the United States as a form of payback for immigration restrictions and controls against the instability that the southern border has brought to the country for decades,” comments Mac Slavo.

The irony of course is that any intensification of chaos on the border would only serve to strengthen Trump’s hand when it came to building the wall and deporting illegals.

From 2006-2010 alone, Mexican drug cartels killed around 34,000 people, and that’s just on the Mexican side. Those murders included gruesome ISIS-style beheadings and other grisly executions.
