Did you look at the 2 links I just posted?

There are too many details of this event that do not add up.

i did. There's always a lot of conflicting information in an investigation. In particular, in an area with plenty of tall buildings, gunshots will echo. It will sound like gunshots are coming from two or three different places, especially to an untrained ear.

Did he deliberately target conservatives? I don't know, I'm about 50-50 on that. We need to know more about him. I suppose a music festival would be an easier target than a Trump rally.

Mitch McConnell says it\'s "premature" to talk about new gun control laws. I disagree. Now is a great time to talk about how bad an idea gun control laws are.

Did bump stocks make the Las Vegas shooting any deadlier? It's impossible to know for sure, of course. But probably not.

Quote
Hillary Clinton was widely ridiculed for claiming that Sunday's mass shooting in Las Vegas demonstrated the folly of an NRA-backed bill that would loosen federal restrictions on suppressors, a.k.a. silencers. Clinton argued on Twitter that the death toll in Las Vegas could have been even higher "if the shooter had a silencer," since "the crowd fled at the sound of gunshots."

As firearms experts immediately pointed out, so-called silencers do not actually eliminate the sound of gunfire; they merely reduce the noise level. Even with a suppressor, the hundreds of shots fired from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Resort and Casino would have been clearly audible.

Counterfactual speculation about the Las Vegas attack has now moved on from an accessory that Stephen Paddock did not use to one that he apparently did. The Associated Press reports that police found two bump stocks in Paddock's hotel room, which could explain why witnesses and people who listened to audio recordings of the attack thought he used a machine gun.

A bump stock is a sliding stock that speeds up a rifle's rate of fire by harnessing recoil energy to reset the trigger. Instead of squeezing the trigger, the shooter holds his trigger finger steady while pushing the barrel forward with his other hand, thereby firing a round. The recoil repositions the trigger, and continuing to exert forward pressure on the barrel makes the rifle fire repeatedly. The gun still fires just once per trigger pull, so it is still a semiautomatic (and therefore legal), but it fires faster than it would if the shooter had to bend his trigger finger each time.

Assuming that Paddock used the bump stocks police found, did they make the number of deaths higher than it otherwise would have been? Not necessarily, since bump stocks sacrifice accuracy for speed; the jostling required by the technique makes the rifle harder to aim, especially at long distances. According to the Wikipedia entry on bump stocks, they "greatly degrade the accuracy of the firearm, due to the necessary jerking of the weapon, which makes viable aiming impossible," and "the inaccuracy renders the practice uncommon."

Although bump stocks are legal, have been around for years, and are readily available, I don't recall any other mass shootings in which they were used. Yet previous mass shooters have managed to kill dozens of people, sometimes with ordinary handguns. While the death toll in Las Vegas (59) was higher than in any other modern mass shooting, Paddock's main advantage seems to have been firing from a height, which made it difficult for his victims to find cover.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), not surprisingly, wants to ban bump stocks. But Kristen Rand, legislative director at the Violence Policy Center, does not seem to think they pose much of a threat. USA Today paraphrased Rand as saying "there's a lot of questions about how effective they really are." She added that "it's just a gimmick to make your YouTube video and show people how fast you're shooting your gun."
Here\'s a video of a bump stock in action. Like I've said before, it seems a little too Mickey Mouse for me.

Have any of you paid close attention to the audio in some of the videos?

Part of the time you can hear some variation in the rate of fire. So, it could be a bump fire.

But, there are periods where the rate of fire is steady and consistent AND it goes on far too long for the weapon to be magazine fed.

Many eye witnesses are adamant that there were two shooters.

Sure is 'convenient' that Paddock "offed" himself. Dead perps can't talk. Maybe he was the fall guy.

This was all too well set up for me just to believe it was a Lone Wolf scenario.
Whoever is really behind this for whatever sick political agenda or just personal financial gain is a far worse enemy to this nation and Constitution then anything that ANTIFA could do.
To think that we have people like this actually working for us and calling themselves PATRIOTS within OUR Intelligence community.

I know that some people will say that we need dogs like this to do what needs to be done in order to further our national agenda, whatever that is these days, but really the more that you delve into what really goes on behind the curtain you start to see how THEY are not protecting US , THEY are just manipulating their resources to further enrich THEMSELVES at OUR expense .

AND WE PAY FOR IT ALL ,AND WE PAY THEM ON TOP OF IT ALL !!!

Rant over.....

It's hard to tell from the videos and recordings I've seen. But if there is a change in the rate of fire, it could be simply due to his changing weapons. Perhaps a rifle jammed, and rather than clear the jam, he simply picked up another rifle. (That's probably why he had that many rifles up there in the first place, so he wouldn't have to clear jams.)

Sounds will echo in an urban environment. Even trained soldiers will have a hard time determining the direction shots are coming from just from the sound. Paddock was located because people in the hotel could tell where the shooter was. If there was a second shooter somewhere, why didn't they find him as well?

Granted, I don't put much stock in conspiracy theories. I'm just a boring person.

Right after saying I don't like conspiracy theories, it occurred to me that no one has yet reported if Paddock was a Democrat or a Republican.

You don't suppose that's because he's a Democrat, and the news media doesn't want to report that, do you?

Airforce there are breaking reports that he and his girlfriend were SJW's with connection to the SPLC. Whether true or not; this attack was political.

I want to know what happened with the "CONFIRMED" police sighting of the older white male dressed in black with a black bag that had been seen shooting into the crowd that ran and hid in a RV that was latter surrounded by the police ?

It is all there on the tape.

Ducttape, isn't it amazing how 'confirmed' reports get lost when it doesn't fit the mainstream agenda.

Just like the FBI who said the HRT were the one's who shot Paddock. And, the reports of antifa/leftist material in the motel room.

Notice how it's always the white, christian, conservative, gun owning Trump supporters who are the target.

And after they kill a few of them, the media always blames them for the problem.

I suspect that's one reason why there are so many conspiracy theories about the Kennedy assassination. No one wants to admit it was another leftist who killed him.

And then there is this ......

http://www.thedailysheeple.com/the-...hooter-and-an-intelligence-agency_102017

The Vegas Plot Thickens: The Connection Between The Shooter And An Intelligence Agency

A few internet sleuths have taken matters into their own hands after the obvious disinformation campaign by the mainstream media surrounding the Las Vegas shooting. Mounting evidence of what looks like a false flag is worrying many. And once you read this, those fears will be shoved into overdrive.

On the surface, the tweet doesn’t say much. But how much can Mike Toke really say in a limited amount of characters? But what he does manage is enough to get anyone seeking the truth to follow all these leads and look into everything that the media and our government continues to hide from us. It’s what’s embedded in the tweet that counts.

Looking closely, the first thing you will notice is that the shooter, Stephen Paddock, had a pilot license and owned two planes. This is well-established fact. The tail number of one of those planes is N5343M, a Cirrus SR-20. You can see that this was owned by Paddock by going to the website Flightaware.com. But Paddock doesn’t own this plane anymore. It was grounded three years ago, and it’s now in the hands of none other than Volant LLC, which there is little information on.

However, Volant Associates is none other than a Department of Defense contractor. Meaning Paddock’s plane has been in the hands of the United States government for the past three years and grounded since – if Volant LLC is being used as a way to hide information. Considering what Volant Associates does, that wouldn’t be so far fetched. But the plane’s information is all easily verified here on Flightaware.com. It’s been in Roanoke, Virginia since April 25, 2014.

Volant’s describes it’s mission on their website as providing “the industry’s preeminent professionals to discriminating U.S. government and intelligence-and-defense-industry customers.”

The registration of this plane is also listed as “active” even though it hasn’t been flown in three years. Strange enough yet? Well, it gets even better. The FAA should have this same information. But they don’t. Their website shows that a different aircraft, a Cessna 152, maintains that tail number and it was last registered to a person in San Diego, California. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) is a government agency, and it appears that it has scrubbed this plane’s information. Now, why would they do that? Well, the plot still thickens.

There is little to be known about Volant LLC., in Roanoke, Virginia. A company big enough to have a plane should have a website, at least that would be the assumption. But a Google search netted very little information other than they provide “business services.” But Volant Associates is a completely different matter. That’s your defense contractor. And their website says they are located in Chantilly, VA, which wouldn’t be too far from Volant LLC. in Roanoke. And a quick Google search of that verifies that the two cities are only 219 miles apart. So is Volant LLC., a cover company for the defense contractor? Is this a coincidence?

For a list of all of the contracts between Volant LLC. and the government, click here. They have worked for the Obama Administration. Could Paddock’s plane have been used in other scandals, such as the Fast and Furious gun running scheme? Who knows, and at this point, we may never know.

What all this means is entirely speculation right now. But isn’t is strange that this information is being kept from the public, and those who seek the truth are stuck finding it on their own?

Excellent find ducttape. I've been seeing reports all day that claim Paddock had years of connection to the mil/industrial complex.

Paddock may have fired at a jet fuel storage tank.

[Linked Image]

Quote
Las Vegas Strip mass murderer Stephen Paddock used his Mandalay Bay hotel room to fire bullets at jet fuel tanks Sunday night, a knowledgeable source told the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The bullets left two holes in one of two circular white tanks. One of the bullets penetrated the tank, but did not cause a fire or explosion near the Route 91 Harvest country music festival, another knowledgeable source said late Wednesday.

The tanks are roughly 1,100 feet from the concert site, where Paddock killed 58 people and wounded almost 500.

Within the past couple of days, a construction crew repaired and painted the holes, and FBI agents inspected the tanks and took measurements of the line of fire from Mandalay Bay, the sources said.

Paddock, a 64-year-old Mesquite resident, had broken two windows in his 32nd-floor suite — one in line with the concert site and the other with a direct view of the fuel tanks, one source said. The bases of private aircraft operators are close to the tanks.(Las Vegas Review-Journal)

FBI spokeswoman Sandra Breault declined to comment. “We can’t comment on an ongoing investigation,” she said late Wednesday.

Paddock’s shooting rampage was the deadliest in modern U.S. history. He killed himself as Las Vegas police closed in on his room.

Paddock was a retired accountant who had no criminal background and a passion for video poker. He lived in Mesquite with his girlfriend, Marilou Danley, and regularly came to the Las Vegas Strip to gamble.

He had previously booked a room overlooking Lollapalooza, and another one overlooking a rap music festival. That doesn't mean he was thinking of shooting them up, but it sure is suspicious.

Experts Confident There Were Multiple Shooters at Vegas Massacre

Special Forces veterans say gunshot acoustics point to multiple shooters

Kit Daniels | Infowars.com - October 9, 2017

There’s overwhelming evidence there were multiple shooters at the Las Vegas massacre – and Special Forces veterans who spoke to Infowars said the gunshot acoustics indicate Stephen Paddock didn’t act alone.

Numerous witnesses reported gunfire from multiple locations – and the acoustics indicate several, overlapping firearms according to veterans of Delta Force, Navy SEALs, Green Berets and other military outfits that Infowars spoke to who have first-hand experience in firefights with automatic weapons.

One of these sources, former Navy SEAL leader Craig Sawyer, is a top ballistics expert and a federal criminal investigator who also has his own sources, some of whom are linked to the investigation.

Here’s what he had to say about multiple shooters:

I will get this caveat out there that it’s very important to be accurate… echoes are very confusing, and hearing anything through a microphone is confusing, and one of my best friends is probably the foremost authority on… the acoustics of these big cases, and he’s got these huge computer [setups] to analyze everything.

Having said all that, and acknowledging that it is confusing after the fact to listen to a series of gunshots with echoes, I will say this: some things are beyond [doubt]… it’s apparent anyway. Even though you’re listening to the echoes and even though you’re listening to it after the fact through a microphone that does just change that acoustic signature, it’s still apparent there was more than one shooter.

…You hear [gunshots] very muffled, very far away and then all the sudden, shortly thereafter, you hear very loud, very distinct [gunshots]. That’s a far engagement and a close engagement.

…I feel confident that we’re hearing more than one shooter.

He also pointed out that so far, there’s hasn’t been much footage released of Stephen Paddock, which suggests the footage would derail the mainstream narrative of a lone shooter.

Remember, Las Vegas hotels and casinos are amongst the most surveilled places per square foot in the world, and yet officials haven’t bothered to release much video. Why wouldn’t surveillance footage be released if it collaborates the official story?

That in itself suggests a cover-up of the parties involved in the shooting – and that the real truth goes much deeper than the mainstream narrative.

If there were multiple shooters, this information needs to be released so the public can help find those responsible.

As we reported on Friday, there’s emerging evidence that the Las Vegas shooting was an ISIS attack and that Paddock had been radicalized, either for real or as part of a cover as he had the hallmarks of an intelligence agency cutout.

Remember, intelligence agencies were behind the rise of ISIS as the CIA and other agencies were funding so-called “moderate” rebels in the Syrian Civil War who were fighting alongside ISIS in an attempt to overthrow President Assad.

Many of these “moderate” rebels later pledged allegiance to ISIS.

Julian Assange is saying that it started out as an FBI sting or something, but he offered no evidence.

I just heard (on Faux News, so take it for what it's worth) that Paddock was taking Valium "off and on" for years. It will be interesting to see the toxicity results when his autopsy comes back.

I don't care how much smoke they try to blow up our ass, Valium had nothing to do with this.

They just blew the timeline up, Now saying the security guard was shot before the shooting began, 200 rounds shot into the hallway before he opened up on concert, Blows what they told us out of the water. Remember they said the wounded guard met them and helped while they cleared rooms, That means the guard waited through the 15 min of shooting and the 72 min before the breach, that is 87 min. THIS STINKS

There is as much misdirection as truth telling. The newest story is the security guard got shot 10 minutes before the shooting started and SWAT showed up 82 minutes later to find a dead man?

I'm afraid that we may be in the proverbial "calm before the storm." And, I don't think that Korea is the panic issue. Watch your six...

And yet if you discuss this with any medical professional they ask "So you have issues with those in authority ?" .

I sure as hell do if those in authority are abusing their power that WE loaned them, and that they think that it is perfectly okay to lie to their employers but Heaven forbid that you should lie to them !
Until the scales are balanced, as they should be, then OUR "employees" will continue to think that they have more Rights then the rest of us.

Now they don\'t know why he stopped shooting at the crowd. Nothing about this made any sense before, and it still doesn't.

Quote
Police have dramatically changed their account of how the Las Vegas massacre began on Oct. 1, revealing Monday that the gunman shot a hotel security guard six minutes before opening fire on a country music concert — raising new questions about why police weren’t able to pinpoint the gunman’s location sooner.

Officials had previously said that gunman Stephen Paddock, 64, of Mesquite, Nev., shot Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos after Paddock had unleashed his deadly volley at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, an assault that began at 10:05 p.m. and left 58 people dead, with hundreds more injured.

They had credited Campos, who was shot in the leg, with stopping the 10-minute assault on the concert crowd by turning the gunman’s attention to the hotel hallway, where Campos was checking an alert for an open door in another guest’s room.

But Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said Monday that Paddock shot Campos before his mass shooting — at 9:59 p.m. — and they now didn’t know why Paddock stopped his attack on the crowd.

Paddock, who had placed security cameras outside his room, shot Campos through the door of his suite, which was outfitted with a camera to survey the hallway, as was a room service cart parked outside. Police said Paddock fired 200 rounds into the hallway.

Investigators previously said that the security guard was shot after Paddock had already spent 10 minutes firing into the crowd of concertgoers gathered below the hotel.

In a timeline released last week, investigators said Paddock had stopped firing at the concert across the street at 10:15 p.m., and the first police officers arrived on the floor at 10:17 p.m. and encountered the wounded Campos at 10:18 p.m., who directed the officers to Paddock’s suite.

Police were not in a hurry to enter Paddock’s suite because the security guard’s arrival had halted the shooting, police implied in previously describing the timeline. Paddock had killed himself by the time officers entered the room, they said.

In a news conference Wednesday, Lombardo said it was his “assumption” that Paddock stopped his shooting spree because the gunman, using his spy cameras, “observed the security guard, and he was in fear that he was about to be breached, so he was doing everything possible to figure out how to escape at that point.”

In another news conference last week, Clark County Undersheriff Kevin McMahill said Campos "had notified his dispatch, which was absolutely critical to us, knowing the location, as well as advising the responding officers as they arrived.”

But on Monday, the timeline changed.

“Mr. Campos was encountered by the suspect prior to his shooting to the outside world,” Lombardo said at a Monday news conference.

Police officers who started searching the hotel after the shooting began didn’t know a hotel security guard had been shot “until they met him in the hallway after exiting the elevator,” Lombardo said. He didn’t say whether Campos notified casino security after he was shot.

A police spokesperson did not immediately respond to several follow-up questions from the Los Angeles Times seeking clarification on the new timeline.

Charles "Sid" Heal, a retired Los Angeles County sheriff's commander and tactical expert, said the new timeline “changes the whole perspective of the shooting."

Heal said that if police had known immediately that a guard had been shot, they would have rushed the room while the gunman was still firing. He said it seemed to signal a breakdown in communication.

“It doesn't say much for hotel security,” Heal said.

After Campos was shot, a maintenance worker appeared on the 32nd floor and “Campos prevented him from receiving any injuries,” Lombardo said.

Representatives for the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and the union representing the hotel’s security guards did not immediately respond to messages seeking comment.

Lombardo said investigators still had not uncovered a motive for Paddock’s attack and had found “zero” evidence of a second gunman. Investigators said Paddock was not seen with anyone before the attack.

Lombardo also revised the date on which police believe Paddock checked into Mandalay Bay. While initially they said he had checked in on Sept. 28, three days before the shooting, they now believe he checked in on Sept. 25.

They continue to believe he was operating without a partner.

Lombardo said investigators had compiled 200 “instances” of Paddock moving around Las Vegas before the attack, and he was always alone.

The sheriff also revealed that Paddock had started drilling a hole next to the door of his suite, but the drilling apparently was not completed, and officials weren’t sure what the hole was for.

Lombardo said investigators had found “some evidence of medications” used by Paddock but declined to give any more information.

Authorities have begun returning personal items to those who left them behind when fleeing the concert grounds. Clark County Deputy Fire Chief John Steinbeck said 99 people came Sunday to retrieve items from the Family Assistance Center at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

By late afternoon Monday, a slow trickle of people entered the heavily guarded doors of the center — some arriving on crutches and wearing bandages. A few emerged carrying bags or wheeling suitcases away into the parking lot.

"Now they don't know why he stopped shooting at the crowd. Nothing about this made any sense before, and it still doesn't."

Maybe he stopped (if he ever really started) because somebody else .... Neutralized, Assassinated, Terminated, Liquidated, Taken out, Removed, Rubbed out, Wasted his duppa !

Then he .... Assumed room temperature, Went Belly up, Vacationing in that mysterious place after death, Bit the dust, Bit the big one, Breathed his last, Bought the farm, Dead as a door nail, Dead as a Dodo, Snuffed out, Went Tits up, Counting worms, Slipped on his pine overcoat, Kissed his arse goodbye, Sucking face with the Grip Reaper and finally .....He Cashed in his chips . Heheheheheheheeheee

Basically, he stopped because someone Wacked him to throw a wrench into this whole mess !

With the amount of rounds he fired with that bump stock contraption, he might have stopped just because all of his rifles were too danged hot to hold anymore. I heard he had ten of those bump stocks, but I figure that would last less than ten minutes before they got too hot.

Back in the 70's, a forensic recording "proved" there was a second shooter in the JFK assassination. I didn't believe it then, and a few months later the "forensics acoustics" people retracted their claim.

Echoes are tricky anyway, and recordings are even trickier. For now at least, I'm skeptical.

Good analysis. Can't say that I've actually used much calculus in a couple decades but the math makes sense. The tables should be very easy to reproduce from readably available data.

I heard that 7.62 x 39 brass was rumored to be found on concert grounds but I've seen nothing to confirm it. Lies, lies and more lies??

AK FMJ ammo has muzzle velocity at 2430 f/p, so distance should be much less than the 250-275 feet determined from his analysis.

Things I've read:

The shooter was a supporter of Bernie in the last election, then worked for Hillary.

His second plane was titled to an intel agency.

George Soroce(SP)bought into the hotel 60 days prior to the shooting.

The shooting lasted only 15 minutes. It took the cops another 50 minutes to reach the room. That is enough time for the shooter(s) to have fled down the stairs.

The fuel tanks were 2200' away. still within range of an AR-15, but no enough umph to penetrate or cause a fire.

100 pounds of ammonium nitrate and 50 pounds of tannerite were found in his car.

I don't usually watch Hannity on Faux News, but that wounded security guard is supposed to be on the show tonight. It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say.
