Media Blackout: British Govt Scrubs Reports Of Tommy Robinson Arrest

Britain has gone full 1984

Infowars.com - May 26, 2018

Reports about activist Tommy Robinson’s arrest are being scrubbed from the internet after the British government ordered a ban on all reporting of the incident.

Robinson was arrested for “breaching the peace” outside the Leeds Crown Court on Friday as he was covering the trial of ten Muslim men for offenses including child rape, trafficking, and drug distribution.

Shortly after Robinson’s arrest, the British government put a gag-order on all articles reporting on it.

The judge in Tommy Robinson's case, Denise Marson, pulled a neat trick today.

She threw him in jail for 13 months, and banned anyone in the UK from talking about it.

A thread on how she did it. (h/t @nickmon1112)#FreeTommy #FreeTommyRobinson pic.twitter.com/an8elg3OlB

Robinson, who is still in jail, was already serving a suspended sentence (probation) due to a prior arrest by police, therefore the journalist will likely serve 13 months in jail.

He’d been covering the trial to bring attention to the Muslim rape gangs that have been plaguing the UK, and their activities have been covered up or ignored by British authorities.

It seems the British government is more keen on arresting political dissidents than individuals who are known to have committed heinous sexual crimes against children.

Fox News Confirms Tommy Robinson Sentenced 13 Months For Reporting on Pedophile Grooming Trial

Unprecedented: Media told not to report on Soviet-style disappearance

Kit Daniels | Infowars.com - May 27, 2018

Fox News is now reporting on the unprecedented gag order UK officials placed on media to vainly keep the disappearance of Tommy Robinson hidden from the public.

In short, it’s a Soviet-style disappearance: the UK police arrested Robinson, the court ordered the press to not talk about it, and it’s quite likely that Robinson will die in prison given the previous death threats made against the outspoken journalist.

Despite the gag order, US legacy media is now reporting on this sensational story.

According to Fox News:

Sources with knowledge of Robinson’s case spoke on condition of anonymity in part because of fear they would be arrested for contempt. One told Fox that Robinson’s lawyer warned that, considering the presence of Muslim gang members in prison, a 13-month sentence was tantamount to a death sentence.

“Tommy’s lawyer said he will likely die in jail given his profile and previous credible threats, and the judge basically said he doesn’t care,” the source said. “He sentenced him to 13 months in prison.”

The head of UKIP says the gag order was beyond authoritarian.

“What kind of police state have we become?” tweeted U.K. Independence Party leader and European MP Gerard Batten.

“I am trying to recall a legal case where someone was convicted of a ‘crime’ which cannot be reported on.”

“Where he can be cast into prison without it being possible to report his name, offence, or place of imprisonment for fear of contempt of court,” he added.

Robinson’s arrest led to mass protests on Saturday:

Everyone needs to RT this and spread it.#FreeTommyRobinson

And well-known luminaries also spoke out against Robinson’s disappearance:

@therealroseanne You are RIGHT, Roseanne. Tommy has been Enemy of the State more than a decade ago when he exposed what was happening re rape gangs and he was laughed at, harassed, imprisoned & now silenced for 13 months. UK = Gulag. https://t.co/5Ho8G2txPW

Robinson jailed for reporting on Muslim rape gang.

Quote
Tommy Robinson, a British activist and journalist, has been arrested outside a Leeds courtroom for livestreaming information about a Muslim gang on trial for raping and grooming hundreds of victims, some as young as eleven. Robinson was taken immediately to prison.

The ongoing trial regards the heinous rape of children as reported by the UK Metro News: "Twenty-six men and two women appeared before a judge at Leeds Crown Court charged with offenses including rape, trafficking, sexual activity with a child, child neglect, child abduction, supplying drugs and making of indecent images of children."

Hundreds of children were allegedly raped and the defendants are now awaiting a verdict in this case. Muslim rape gangs have been an ongoing problem all over England and the British government has been actively trying to hide the widespread crimes from the public by imposing draconian sanctions for reporting on these trials

Robinson has been arrested before for reporting on similar trials in the past and because he was on a 13-month remanded sentence when he was arrested on Friday, he was put directly in prison, where he is at risk of being attacked by Muslim inmates. Unlike in America, the British media are forbidden from reporting on certain trials, purportedly to avoid prejudicing the jury, but many believe it is to keep the truth from the public. Robinson disobeys the law because he believes, rightly so, that the people are being denied the right to know what is happening in their country.

Here is the video of his arrest.

The full video of the livestream that got him arrested is here. You can hear him reporting on the crimes that occurred and even saying many times that this is not all Muslims, but that radical Islam is a factor in the rape culture that has infected England because of mass immigration.

It is well-documented that the authorities in England have tried to cover up the Muslim gang rape epidemic. The police in Rotherham ignored Pakistani gangs sexually abusing more than 1400 British children, as reported by Forbes in 2014, in order to not appear "racist."

Quote
A story of rampant child abuse—ignored and abetted by the police—is emerging out of the British town of Rotherham... The result of this has been that police forces lean over backwards to avoid the accusation of racism, while social workers will hesitate to intervene in any case in which they could be accused of discriminating against ethnic minorities. Matters are made worse by the rise of militant Islam, which has added to the old crime of racism the new crime of ‘Islamophobia’. No social worker today will risk being accused of this crime. In Rotherham a social worker would be mad, and a police officer barely less so, to set out to investigate cases of suspected sexual abuse, when the perpetrators are Asian Muslims and the victims ethnically English. Best to sweep it under the carpet, find ways of accusing the victims or their parents or the surrounding culture of institutionalised racism, and attending to more urgent matters such as the housing needs of recent immigrants, or the traffic offences committed by those racist middle classes.
This resulted in more than 1400 children being sexually abused, addicted to drugs, raped and terrorized for years with no accountability. Robinson has been trying to tell the world what mass immigration has done to his country and his country has now jailed him for doing so. Many in America are incensed that his "free speech rights" are being infringed upon, but England has no right to free speech. Robinson has been jailed legally for speech the government deems "inciting" and harmful. They have the right to do it because their laws allow it. Robinson knows the risks he takes by bringing the reality to the world and is now paying the price.

Even more disturbing is that the judge who threw Robinson in jail for reporting the trial issued a press blackout disallowing any UK press from talking about his arrest.

How can the press in the UK go along with this government censorship of information? Robinson's arrest has been scrubbed from all UK sources. Here is the UK Mirror before and after the decree went out to stop reporting on Robinson's arrest....
Read the whole thing at the link. This is horrific.

Just a reminder, two councillors and a police officer "had sex" with the victims in Rotherham , yet it's Tommy Robinson who is going to jail.

Geert Wilders Calls For Release of Tommy Robinson

Dutch MP also pressures own government to address the issue

Dan Lyman | Infowars.com - May 29, 2018

Geert Wilders, leading Dutch MP and prominent anti-Islamization figurehead, has called for the release of British political prisoner, Tommy Robinson, also pressuring his own government to address the issue.

“As the leader of the largest opposition party in the Parliament of The Netherlands I urge you [UK Prime Minister Theresa May] to honor the value of free speech and release Tommy Robinson from prison,” Wilders tweeted. “The UK should not have political prisoners.”

He later posted a video of himself delivering an address on the matter in front of the British Embassy in The Hague.

My statement in front of the British Embassy in The Hague today.

Free Tommy Robinson!

— Geert Wilders (@geertwilderspvv) May 28, 2018

Additionally, Wilders has issued a list of questions to the Netherlands’ Minister of Foreign Affairs appealing for attention to Robinson’s plight.

The formal inquiry, which was co-authored by fellow MP’s from Wilders’ Party For Freedom (PVV), requests a response from FM Stef Blok by Tuesday morning on topics relating to Robinson’s situation and how it pertains to the greater scenario playing out across the EU.

The questions read as follows:

1) Have you heard about the arrest of British activist and Islam critic Tommy Robinson for “breaching the peace,” while he was covering a trial of Islamic rapists, and that he was within a few hours convicted to 13 months imprisonment? What do you think of this madness?

2) Do you realize that, if the said Islam critic has to spend his jail sentence among Islamic criminals, this may cost him his life? What is your opinion of this?

3) Does, according to you, freedom of speech also apply to Islam critics in the EU and are you willing to immediately voice your dissatisfaction about this violation of freedom of speech by the United Kingdom to your British colleague and demand his attention for the personal safety of the person involved? If not, why not?

4) Do you and your colleagues in the EU realize that you cannot silence the dissatisfaction in society about Islamization by prosecuting or arresting Islam critics, and that a large segment of the population will at a certain time no longer accept this and turn against you and your colleagues?

5) Can you answer these questions before Tuesday, May 29, 11 am?

Wilders has taken a keen in interest in Robinson’s case, while many other European politicians turn a blind eye.

As an ardent critic of the Islamization of Europe, Wilders weathers constant attacks on his freedom by both Islamists and state entities. He is currently in the process of appealing a 2016 conviction for “incitement to discrimination and hatred” for voicing his opinion that there are too many Moroccan Muslims in the Netherlands.

“Arrested for ‘breaching the peace’ while reporting on a Islamic grooming gang trial?” Wilders tweeted when news of Robinson’s apprehension broke. “Is this Saudi-Arabia? Has the United Kingdom become a police state? Jail = a death sentence for Tommy Robinson. Come to your senses United Kingdom!”

In 2009, Wilders was banned from entering the United Kingdom – despite being invited to show his documentary Fitna tn the House of Lords, on grounds that his statements about Islam would “threaten community harmony and therefore public security in the UK.”

Judge Admits Tommy Robinson Sentenced Without Due Process

Kit Daniels May 29, 2018

The judge who imprisoned Tommy Robinson admitted he watched little of Robinson's livestream he claimed was evidence that Robinson was in "contempt of court."

According to Robinson's producer Caolan Robertson, who was in court during Robinson's sentencing, Judge Geoffrey Marson QC admitted that he barely watched Robinson's livestream, despite it being the focal point of Robinson's arrest according to the arresting officers themselves.

"The number one most significant thing that actually caused a little bit of a gasp in the courtroom from a couple members of the press was when the judge actually admitted that he hadn't watched the full livestream of Tommy talking," Robertson said on the Alex Jones Show on Tuesday. "He only watched a very, very brief moment of it before he made up his mind [to imprison Tommy.]"

In contrast, during the arrest, the police told Robinson he was "creating a breach of peace" based on "the content of what you're streaming:"

In other words, the content the judge never bothered to watch.

How could the judge claim Robinson was tainting a trial if he hadn't watched Robinson's full livestream? Robinson could have simply been talking about the weather and the judge's sentence would have still remained the same, given the judge's self-admitted ignorance.

It seems that Judge Marson didn't base his decision to imprison Robinson exclusively on the evidence presented.

Additionally, Robinson and his film crew were reporting outside the courthouse where the Muslim grooming trial was almost over, and, according to Robertson, they were careful to only report on facts of the case which were already public given that Robinson was previously accused of committing contempt last year.

Interestingly, RT reported on this before the outlet scrubbed its article due to the judge's gag order against press covering the arrest - meaning that this simple fact was kept hidden from the public:

RT spoke to Robinson’s producer, Caolan Robertson, about the confrontation outside of Leeds Crown Court and Robinson’s subsequent arrest.

“Their case has been going on for about a year,” Robertson said. “Tommy had all the publicly available information… and on that live stream he repeated the information that was already public. We were very careful with language [as to not risk being held in contempt of court].”

The judge imprisoned Robinson under the assumption that his reporting would cause a mistrial by influencing jury opinion. But since Robinson was reporting on publically available facts - and thus facts already available to the jury - how could this be accurate?

And to declare a mistrial, a judge would have to look at what information had been leaked and whether it could have reasonably swayed the opinion of a jury. Since Judge Marson admitted he had never bothered to look into the content of Robinson's livestream, how could he know that Robinson's reporting was evidence of jury tampering?

And if Judge Marson wanted to keep a public attention away from the trial, he completely screwed that up by fueling an international news story with his arrest of Robinson and his sequential gag order against press coverage.

Judge Marson helped Robinson by shining a supernova of a spotlight on the trial which Robinson couldn't have done alone; in short, Judge Marson created a Streisand Effect.

Judge Marson's very own tactics have contributed to the alleged harm he claims Robinson has done by merely reporting on the trial, and despite claiming he's defending the due process of those accused at the trial, Judge Marson seems to have actually violated the due process of Robinson.

Geert Wilders to Spearhead Tommy Robinson Protest In London

Dan Lyman June 04, 2018

International protests on behalf of UK political prisoner Tommy Robinson gain momentum as Dutch MP Geert Wilders announces he will join the June 9th demonstration in London.

Wilders, an outspoken critic of the Islamization of Europe, risks a hostile reception from both Islamists and a British government that has denied him entry to the country in the past.

In a manifesto published by Breitbart London, Wilders praised Robinson for his courage in speaking out on behalf of the silent majority of Brits who are watching their homeland descend into an Orwellian, pseudo-Islamic tyranny.

"Tommy Robinson is a working-class man, who can no longer stand how the original population of England is oppressed by Islam," Wilders wrote. "The latter enjoys the protection from the multiculturalist politically-correct Islamophile ruling class. Tommy Robinson wants to break the taboos this class imposes on society, and he was punished for it."

"But Tommy embodies the hope of many, whose voices are not heard. That is why I stand with him. Tommy is a hero. It is a disgrace that he is still in jail. I have been invited to a major protest demonstration in London next week, and I will be coming. Free Tommy now!"

Wilders will join prominent UK politicians, journalists and activists - and likely thousands of Brits at the June 9 event.

"Working on some very big names for next weekend’s #FreeTommy rally," announced political commentator and author, Raheem Kassam. "You are NOT GOING TO WANT TO MISS IT."

The London demonstration will serve as the epicenter of a burgeoning movement in support of Robinson and all his plight symbolizes in the battle for free speech across the West.

Parallel rallies have been taking place in cities around Europe, the US, and Australia, and are expected to continue.

"#FreeTommy last weekend, this weekend and next weekend with Geert Wilders in London 9th June," tweeted MEP Janice Atkinson. "Oh, with a little help from cities around the world."

In the wake of Robinson's arrest, Wilders delivered a statement in front of the British Embassy in The Hague, where he condemned the UK government, comparing it to those of Saudi Arabia and North Korea, and called for Robinson's immediate release.

"I stand here in solidarity with Tommy Robinson," Wilders said. "We will no longer be silent. Our future is at stake, and we will protect it. Free Tommy Robinson."
