The man allegedly behind the massacre says he chose firearms for the effect it would have for politics in the U.S.

Quote
An alleged gunman behind Friday’s deadly mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand, reportedly wrote his weapon of choice was firearms for “the effect it could have on the politics of United States and thereby the political situation of the world” in a manifesto that has been linked to him.

New Zealand and U.S. gun laws share some similarities but in many respects New Zealand’s laws are stricter. The shootings that left at least 49 dead have already prompted headlines from outlets like CNN about New Zealand’s “lax” gun laws.

Like in the United States and Canada, most guns in New Zealand do not need to be registered. The country does not require registry for most rifles and shotguns for people over the age of 16 with entry-level firearm licenses, according to Yahoo! News. Only about 4 percent of its guns are registered, according to researcher Philip Alpers quoted by The Guardian.

In the U.S., federal law bars the use of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System to create any system of registration of firearms or firearm owners, according to the Giffords Law Center. Some states like New York have registries for weapons they define as assault weapons.

The Democratic-controlled U.S. House of Representatives passed a gun control package in February that contained ideas also being pushed for in New Zealand. The U.S. bill faced criticism from House Republicans, some of whom said it would result in a federal gun registry, reported NBC News.

New Zealand did away with its national gun registry in 1983 when the government determined it was cost-inefficient. However, advocates of a national gun registry in the country have continued to push for its return.

The U.S. House’s gun control legislation would also require background checks on all individuals buying guns, whether they purchase in-store, at a gun show or via the internet. This would close the so-called “gun show loophole” that did not require sellers at gun shows to conduct checks, although many venues and states have laws that require those kinds of sellers to conduct background checks....

Based on what I've heard so far, he's a white nationalist who likes Trump, opposes capitalism, calls himself an "eco-fascist," and admires the Chinese government. If you can make any sense out of that, you're better than I.

You know the media's reaction.

Guns are evil and must be banned.

White people are all evil racists.

Islam is the religion of peace and would never perpetrate a violent act against innocent people.

And, it's all Trumps fault.

Here is the man the media calls a "right wing extremist".

New Zealand Mosque Terrorist Described Himself as an “Eco-Fascist” Who Hated Conservatism & Admired Communist China

Killer decried "milquetoast civic nationalist boomers"

By Paul Joseph Watson | INFOWARS.COM Friday, March 15, 2019

The terrorist gunman who killed 49 Muslims at a mosque in New Zealand said in his own manifesto that he wanted “no part of” conservatism, describing himself as an “eco-fascist” and expressing admiration for Communist China.

Answering the question “Were/are you a conservative?”, Brenton Tarrant wrote, “No, conservatism is corporatism in disguise, “I want no part of it.”

Describing the arc of his political journey, the killer said, “When I was young I was a communist, then an anarchist and finally a libertarian before coming to be an eco-fascist.”

Tarrant also wrote that he considered himself an “eco-fascist by nature.”

He also expressed admiration for Communist China.

“The nation with the closest political and social values to my own is the People’s Republic of China,” wrote Tarrant.

Discussing intolerant aspects of Islam or engaging in legitimate debate about mass migration doesn’t make anyone complicit in mass shootings.

Just as all Muslims are not to blame for Islamic terror attacks.

The fact I have to point this out every time is fucking depressing.

— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) March 15, 2019

Tarrant also claimed that he was both right and left wing, writing, “Depending on the definition, sure.”

Tarrant also disavowed President Trump from the standpoint of his policies and decisions, answering the question, “Were/are you a supporter of Donald Trump” with the words, “Dear god no.”

Tarrant was clearly an alt-right racist who despised both liberals and mainstream conservatives. His political positions occupied both fringes of the extreme right and left.

His condemnation for mainstream conservatives, whom he dismissed as “milquetoast civic nationalist boomers” clearly illustrates how the media’s attempt to smear people like Candace Owens as being complicit in the attack is absurd and dishonest.

The NZ shooter said his goal was to start a US civil war by goading the left into initiating gun confiscation.

The left is chomping at the bit to attack both the 1st & 2nd Amendments though he self-identified as an “eco-fascist,” calling conservatives “corporatists,” saying he doesn’t like Trump and isn’t a Christian.

He correctly identifies the problem of “people replacement” pushed by the UN just as Andrew Yang correctly identifies the coming depression based on automation unemployment but they both have the wrong solution.

Don't you love it when the liberal snowflakes eat their own? Here's a video of New York University students accusing Chelsea Clinton (!?) of causing the New Zealand shooting.

I'm not kidding.

Quote
On Friday, New York University students confronted Chelsea Clinton at a vigil for victims of the mass shooting in Christchurch, New Zealand, which claimed the lives of 49 people.

The shooting took place at two mosques. The killer deliberately targeted Muslims, and was motivated by the delusional concerns typical of the far-right white nationalist fringe: Islam invading the West, immigrants replacing the white race, etc.

If you're wondering what this has to do with Chelsea Clinton, you're not alone. And yet, a leftwing activist wearing a t-shirt bearing the slogans "Jobs for all, Medicare for all, college for all, and justice for all" screamed at the former president's daughter.

"This [vigil] right here is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world," said the activist, a young woman. "I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deep inside—49 people died because of the rhetoric that you put out there."

The young woman's friends—most of whom are not visible in the video footage of the encounter—snap their fingers in solidarity.

So, what's going on? Clinton, you may recall, had joined with many in the Democratic Party to criticize Rep. Ilhan Omar (D–Minn.) for perceived anti-Semitic remarks. Omar is Muslim, and calling her out has emboldened anti-Islamic sentiment, according to some on the far left. That's the causal chain: Chelsea Clinton urged Omar to be more careful with her rhetoric, this contributed in some way to Islamophobia, and then Christchurch happened.

Needless to say, this is absurd. I'm all for holding the Clinton family accountable, and it's perfectly legitimate to criticize Hillary Clinton for her foreign policies. As a U.S. senator and secretary of state, Clinton was a major proponent of the Iraq War and the intervention in Libya, both of which destabilized the Middle East and caused the deaths of millions of Muslims. But Chelsea Clinton isn't responsible for that, and she certainly isn't responsible for the actions of a deranged white nationalist in New Zealand.

Not many things really surprise me any more. But this, well...

To put things in perspective, here's a long list of Islamic attacks on Christians. The list is probably not complete.

I would post the list here, but it's far too long.

You will undoubtedly be hearing the New Zealand shooting was fake, or a "false flag." Here's their evidence. I have to say I wasn't impressed, but you may see something differently.

WARNING: The shooter's entire video is shown at the link. Use your discretion.

NZ adopts harsh gun control measures after Christchurch massacre

High-capacity magazines and parts used to convert other weapons into the banned guns are also banned under the new laws

By RT Thursday, March 21, 2019

New Zealand has rolled out a ban on military-style semi-automatic and assault rifles following last week’s massacre in Christchurch, which saw 50 people killed at two mosques in the worst mass shooting in the country’s history.

High-capacity magazines and parts used to convert other weapons into the banned guns are also banned under the new laws, which PM Jacinda Ardern expects to take effect by April 11. A buyback scheme will also be put in place for weapons on the banned list.

“On 15 March our history changed forever. Now, our laws will too,” Ardern said at a press conference on Thursday. New Zealand follows the example of Australia, which banned all semi-automatic weapons following a 1996 mass shooting in Port Arthur that killed 35 people.

The most pronounced reactions came from Americans, many of whom believe similar laws are soon to be introduced stateside. Whether they want those laws is another matter entirely.

Democratic pols praised the move,

This is what real action to stop gun violence looks like. We must follow New Zealand’s lead, take on the NRA and ban the sale and distribution of assault weapons in the United States. https://t.co/lSAisDG9Ur

— Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders) March 21, 2019

Sandy Hook happened 6 years ago and we can’t even get the Senate to hold a vote on universal background checks w/ #HR8.

Christchurch happened, and within days New Zealand acted to get weapons of war out of the consumer market.

It took New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern six days to get a ban on semi-automatic weapons.

Six days.

— Charlotte Clymer🏳️‍🌈 (@cmclymer) March 21, 2019

It took New Zealand SIX DAYS to do what we should have done years ago. Our inaction regarding safer gun laws is ignorant and inexcusable.@realDonaldTrump – you want respect? You want praise? You want thank-yous? Ban assault weapons & institute more rigorous background checks!

— Ken Olin (@kenolin1) March 21, 2019

Republicans were repulsed.

Breaking: New Zealand only allows criminals to have semi auto rifles

— Joe Biggs (@Rambobiggs) March 21, 2019

So, if we pass this law, the criminals are going to follow it? Then why aren’t they following the other 22,000 gun laws on the books? What makes this law so special?

— William Waring (@billwaring) March 21, 2019

1.4% of the population just petitioned the rights away of the other 98.6%

New Zealand is the definition of beta for letting this happen

— Eric Spracklen (@ThatTrumpGuy) March 21, 2019

Reports of New Zealanders voluntarily turning in their guns came in for particular derision.

AHHH.. The Cabal thinks if they False Flag the US now we will comply because NZ just did…
LMAO!!! Molon Labe https://t.co/5e9Jpf25Ei

— thewavesmoothjazz (@richierigg1) March 19, 2019

Many worried that the Christchurch shooting and subsequent crackdowns – on guns, on speech, even on watching the livestreamed video of the slaughter – are a form of dress rehearsal for a planned US clampdown.

So good to see the ruling class in New Zealand react to tragedy with a logical, rational, reasoned approach instead of having ISPs block websites, throwing 18 year olds in jail for sharing a link, banning books, and destroying the gun rights of law abiding citizens.

Oh wait.

Australian ISPs Ban Liveleak, But Not Facebook & Twitter Over Shooting Video

Targeted censorship: Facebook, Twitter NOT blocked even though video was posted there as well

By Infowars.com Wednesday, March 20, 2019

Australian ISPs have banned the popular video site Liveleak despite it having deleted uploads of the Christchurch shooting video – and despite Facebook and Twitter not getting blocked for the exact same thing.

The countries’ ISPs blocked their customers from accessing the site even though Liveleak published a statement stating it would not host videos of the Christchurch attack.

According to Guardian Australia:

A site that explicitly stated it would not host the horrific Christchurch terror video has been blocked by Australian telcos in an “extraordinary” effort to censor dozens of websites.

Telstra, Vodafone and Optus have all confirmed they are actively blocking Australian customers on their networks from accessing websites that hosted the Christchurch terror video.

None of the three telcos would say which sites had been blocked. The blocks are temporary and will be lifted when the footage is removed. The decision was made independently by telcos following industry-wide discussions, without any direction from law enforcement or the courts.

Facebook and Twitter were not targeted, despite hosting the video.

Although the telcos claim the ban is “temporary,” the mere fact that they’re selectively censoring web sites outside of law sets a very dangerous precedent, and there’s nothing really stopping them from banning sites permanently.

And as Guardian Australia reported, Facebook and Twitter weren’t blocked despite users having uploaded the video to its respective platforms.

Why not? Why was Liveleak banned but not Facebook and Twitter when all three of them seemingly appear to have done the exact same thing?

“On the eve of mass censorship of free speech and citizen journalism it seems this terror attack has played right in to the hands of those wanting to silence voices that are not of mainstream media source,” Liveleak said in a statement. “Even though LiveLeak has removed the video dozens of times having been uploaded.”

Big Tech has proven they care more about virtue signaling to the left than standing up for free speech as world wide laws are being pushed to censor the population.
