WRSA Site Shut Down by WordPress

The latest round of the censorship war: On Tuesday afternoon, the Western Rifle Shooters Association (WRSA) web site was shut down by WordPress — ostensibly for “content violations”. The WRSA site has always been outspokenly pro-2A. I find the timing of when their site was axed very suspicious. You see, most recently, they re-posted the late Mike Vanderboegh’s serialized book titled Absolved, all in one piece. Apparently that raised the ire and invoked The Author-I-Tahh of the leftist, anti-gun WordPress gnomes.

Other conservative and libertarian people and organizations that use WordPress for site hosting should take note, and make immediate plans to migrate to other servers! Be proactive, or you too may end up “down the memory hole.”

Fear not. The WRSA’s primary writer has already begun posting on GAB. They can’t stop the signal!

Way too many Pro Gun, Pro Constitution, Pro anything pro right or Republican are being shut down due to the fact most free web site hosts are controlled and run by Democraps!

If some one really wanted folks like us opened a web site hosting there would be a bunch of folks that would do buisness with them. Revenue would roll in from more well endowed fiscally blessed groups and advertising.

Hopefully the RNC would help get the program rolling. If nothing else maybe a group of well to do folks who contribute like Soros does to the Democraps!

They can shut us down on their platforms. However they can't shut off your radio. The internet broadcasters should seriously consider going back to shortwave like in the 90's. WBCQ doesn't censor anyone.

The lesson to be learned is never count on anything staying on the internet and never count on the internet staying up. So anytime you see anything good immediately save it to your hard drive and to a flash drive. 64gb flash drives are now about $10 at chinamart (walmart)

The Firefox browser add-on SingleFile works very well to save web pages.

Many libraries let you look at the internet for free on their computers. Some libraries don't allow you to plug in a flash diver into their computers to save files but most computers besides the front USB port also have a rear USB port that most librarians won't notice a USB drive plugged into.

To read the files on any flash drive with an andriod phone unplug the charging cord from the AC adapter then plug the smaller micro USB end of the cord into the smart phone, then plug a double female USB adapter into the larger USB end of the charging cord, then plug a flash drive into the other end of the double ended female USB adapter. You think the market would support a freedom oriented web hosting service? I would love to start something like that. I work in the tech industry but I am not sure I have the time, resources, and knowledge to set something like that up entirely on my own. I think it would take several partners who were invested in the effort.

Patriot / conservative websites like AWRM should be on their own in house server. But that's way beyond my pay grade and budget.
