Hey All,

Thought this may be something that was worth sharing.
http://9voltlight.com/inc/sdetail/78

Just received mine and thought I would pass along the info
for as the site says:

"About this Pak-Lite

The blue light emitted by this flashlight cast a beam which illuminates further than the white LED model. The blue light has some black light properties which cause fluorescent colors to stand out from their surroundings. Among other uses, this flashlight can be used to track wounded animals which have left a blood trail."
They also have ultraviolet for similar purposes, though not as brite.
I have had a red pak-lite for some time, and I like the product. Also the site is full of testimonials from current ops in the sand box.
I am in no way affiliated with this company.

We use those to mark night helo LZ's too. The military uses the NVG-capable ones.

The company also has those NVG compatible ones Infrared nice product just almost too small.
ie. easy to "misplace". Hard to "dummy" cord.
Maybe stormdrain will come up with a way...seems he can do anything with 550

wrap with gunners tape, leaving a tab to punch a hole through and dummy cord.

However, for LZ marking, we just throw them out there.
