Re: Sources of Intell - 12/08/2006 04:21 PM

frankly, I don't seem many of the listed sources as being credible. If you want to put your marbles on the line based on info from one of the whack job conspiracy sources, be my guest.

Re: Sources of Intell - 12/08/2006 05:13 PM

Mannlicher; Please continue!

Since your statements portray you as a KNOWLEGABLE individual, who KNOWS where the best "INTEL" can be gotten, please enlighten us.

And, also, while you're at that task; why don't you FULLY explain who & what you are calling "...whack job conspiracy sources..."[after all, that intimates that you are NOT one], and you use such erodite laungage that it impels me to BEG YOU to reveal your knowlege about these "...whack job consiracy sites...", so that I can avoid being misled & bambuzzeled by such.

THANKS! It'll be SUCH A BLESSING to be enlightened & sent down the "straight & narrow" road of INTEL gathering.

BTW, (just in case you MIGHT sorta think that I'm be less than serious)....I'm SERIOUS! I'm DROP DEAD SERIOUS.

I do a lot of OPEN SOURCE Intel. You glean through EVERYTHING and make judgements about it's accuracy later.

I do find a disturbing trend though, anything with Alex Jone's DNA on it (prison planet, infowars) is usually made up of whole cloth, but by all means listen and act on this media whores rantings. Your memory must be fairly short if you don't remember that it was Alex Jones who pushed the Y2K farce. Not to mention several other tin-hat theories.

On the other side, I find World Net Daily, News Max, Stratfor and a few others listed in ConSigCor 's list to be the most accurate.

You won't find a single source with a blockbuster revelation. When working with OSINTEL, it is the aggregate of information that shows a trend.

The Y2K farce was pushed by virtually the entire media.

www.survivalblog.com is James Wesley Rawles site...quite good.

His links are very good also.

I USED to check www.DEBKAFILE.com on a regular basis, but apparently it's been changed...can't seem to access it these days...

HAWK-45 AND ZEROEDIN THANKS FOR THE LINKS ---I JUST LOADED MY FAVORITES UP. TOOO MUSH INFO. TO READ IN ONE SETTING.

I do a lot of OPEN SOURCE Intel. You glean through EVERYTHING and make judgements about it's accuracy later----I AGREE!!!

I don't seem many of the listed sources as being credible. If you want to put your marbles on the line based on info from one of the whack job conspiracy sources, be my .MANNLICHER--i LIKE COMPARING DIFFERENT NEWS SOURSES--BBC AND OTHES FROM OTHER COUNTRIES--THEY ADD A DIFFERENT ANGLE; PLUS YOU GET A FEEL ON HOW THEY VEW OUR COUNTRY.

DICK WOLF; Glad they help!

I'm not sure what you're driving at with your: "...If you want to put your marbles on the line based on info from one of the whack job conspiracy sourses...", but here's my "TAKE" on gathering INTEL:

The MORE SOURCES you acquire, and the BROADER the spectrum of opinions & angles of view,(perspectives), the MORE chance you have of GLEANING a fair picture of the REALITY.

For me, "WHACK JOB CONSPIRACY SITES" are those that publish either TOTALLY UNCONFIRMABLE[such as "FEMA CONSENTRATION CAMPS ALL OVER...10 Yrs. ago] "INTEL", (usualy can be confirmed that the "story" originated at a poker game, from a "friend"), OR they publish rather emotionally imballanced tirades against "precieved"{USUALLY you're expected to 'understand' whose being accused} "enemies" & accusatory pieces that border on, (or cross over into) racism, ethnic preferences, or Religious bigotry.

BUT! Just because a "Site" is rather "sensationalist" in it's presentation, doesn't rate it "whacko"...(Alex Jones & Tex Marrs for instance).

I ALWAYS JUDGE ON QUALITY, & CONFIRMABILITY. And, I ALWAYS WORK ON THE BASIS OF: "supported" or "multiple source agreement" criteria, before I accept an Article or a Site as LEGITIMATE INTEL.

Until I can CONFIRM & find MULTIPLE SOURCES that AGREE, with a site's declaration, I consider the site, but I place NO TRUST in it's material, & RARELY quote it.
(The FEMA "Consentration Camps EVERYWHERE" was one of my most frustrating examples of an Article {in this case, several} that just didn't have confirmed evidence for a LONG TIME...especially the "...white trains with mancles..." report. It drove me NUTS! And, to a degree, STILL DOES, as the "proof photos" that I HAVE SEEN, are NOT conclusive, but SUGGESTIVE.} So, I don't mention those "CAMPS" much, or often.

BUT! Even groups like the "FREEMEN", (tho CLEARLY BIASED & [to my way of thinking], imbalanced, I NONE THE LESS, listened & learned what I could.

It's paid dividends over the years. And, (in their case), it taught me that this Nation is NO WHERE NEAR "FREE"...and, therefore, I learned what happens to "FREEMEN", when they declare that they ARE "free"!

A little "WISDOM" in dealing with the BEAST is helpfull. "Wise as serpents, & harmless as doves"...?

Re: Sources of Intell - 01/30/2007 07:07 PM

One time I did a comparison of a 'top' news story on Pravda (BTW Pravda in Russian mean 'Truth' LOL), The New York Times, The Jeruselem Times and the London Times. I also did a comparison of the same news story with the 4 majors news sources here (ABC, NBC, CBS, and CNN. Fox and MSNBC weren't around then) and the BBC and a couple of others I could pick up with their web sites. Only the stories from the big 4 news agencies here were similar (and totally wrong!). The rest were as different as daylight to dark.

Thing is by comparing them I was finally able to gather the truth and that was only confirmed when I talked to one of my sources that was actually there and saw the entire thing. The closest to the actual truth was the Jeruselum Post, but know it takes a PRO Israeli slant on its stories as well.

Also know who OWNS your news source as it has a bearing on their stories. The reporter may be honest but it is the person who signs their paycheck that will determine its worth. That is why I value the Newspaper in Nashville as only good for fish wrapping as it owner is one step away from being a card carrying communist.

In summary that is why I want FACTS and not opinions about intel. Just give me the facts and save me the time sifting thru the BS and propaganda, and they ALL do it to some extent.

This is what you should want as well as YOUR time is valuable as well!!!!!!

I ocassionally listen to Alex Jones, mostly for pure intertainment value, and I make sure to take everything he says with a giant grain of salt.

Re: Sources of Intell - 03/14/2007 01:01 PM

I watch the Military Channel alot, and for the most part our soldiers (Whom I have total respect and gratitude) feel that they are doing the right thing. What amazed me was there were also some that, before he was out....wanted Rumsfield's resignation and was very critical of the whole ordeal (at that time the war was "over" and the peace keeping was in place). The amazing part was that they didn't edit it. Also I listen to shortwave radio for different views, though I'm sure many others on the forum do as well.

"The amazing part was that they didn't edit it."

Its sad that we have gotten to the point where it is AMAZING that the American press reports anything that is said without the Gummament "editing it". Thats called censorship & propaganda versus The 1st amentdment.

Cloakanddagger.de with Lenny Bloom and Eric Phelps have dis-associated themselves and reputiated as dis-info agents, Tom Henegan and Stew Webb, as well as Al Gore. (Alex Jones implied this previously)

Here are thier two new audio briefings.

If Y2K was such a wack job than why did so many people and companies spend billions or more to fix it? Alex should be listened to with a ndiscerning ear, but sensationalism does get more people to listen up...I do trust him more than I do your government tho....

Re: Sources of Intell - 05/03/2009 01:15 AM

free radical I agree with you again as far as obtainin intel nothing better than human
intel getting the photographs the video footage ect and verifying it.

I have done that it works I had gotten tired of there is a camp here and there and everywhere so one day my friend and I took a plane trip we had reports the Chinese were coming into Long Beach everyday citizens reporting a base in Long Beach
with chinese soldier who like to fire at citzens if they got to close
we flew over the entire region Saw not one chink soldier was seen

ON the other hand I did verify an actual presence of fema holding area with photographs and a salute report signed by two people

The camp this was 10 years ago needs to be confirmed that it is still there it was located off the main hwy 15 Hwy 15 out side of Vegas North of the city just across the street from Nellis AFB, If someone is in that area would you confirm that it is still there ? please grab photos
also at that time it was complete with Machine gun tower barbed wire sliding gate on wheel both ends along side a set of train tracks
also had a sign property of the US Army
the actual information was obtained way back in
1996
we have not verified its existence since that period long over due for reverification

No More Free Wacos
Well I think we can know accept Alex Jones as at least well intentioned and effective inreaching a large audience. Take a look at one of today's top promoted stories from one of our own.

Kudos to both Mike and Alex.

AJ has also had Mark Koernke as a guest on his show before. I have been on as a caller countless times and have always been able to get on the air without having my questions screened and have been able to promote the militia and been well recieved.

Y2K was an eye opener and a close call.

If you think Y2K was a farce, then the hard work of many people paid off. Although Y2K wasn't an impact on the infrastructure or industrial level, there was a "bump" months later in PC application and driver software that was barely felt.
