60 Dead in Bastille Day Attack in Nice

They're being careful right now, assuming the truck is booby trapped. My gut feeling is this is the product of a terrorist cell, rather than a lone wolf like the Dallas and Orlando shootings.

A Large Truck was driven into a large crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice France with large number of Deaths. The Driver also used a firearm during the attack.

The Truth that Liberals don't want to admit is that even if all guns were to magically disapear Terrorists would still be attacking and murdering people and other murderers would also still be committing murders.

I believe that this type of attack will sooner then later happen here in the USA.

And the Officials are stating that the motive for the attack is not yet known, I guess they can't add 2+2. the odds are that it was a Islamic Terrorist Attack committed by a wonderful Peaceful Muslim.

Of course they know it was Jihadi, they just don't want to publicly admit it.

Of course they might give us some bullshit story about a pissed off garbage truck driver, but come on, the Jihadis have been targeting France hard lately.

The body count is up to 73 now. I have to assume the folks working security at the conventions are watching this.

Yes they know it and don't want to publicly admit it, just like over here the Government only admits that an attack was a Terrorist Attack when it doesn't have any realistic option.

Governments always use BS to Pacify the Sheep and keep them as uninformed as possible.

I believe that the Probability of more attacks occurring here maybe even Terrorism by Truck is not just likely but near 100%, the only thing I am not sure of is how many attacks will occur and the timing of the attacks.

One terrorist, one large Dump or other large heavy Truck, that has been armored maybe like Kill Dozer so that regular police weapons can not stop it and the Terrorist drives it through Police Barricades and into and over the Demonstrators.

Result very large number of Causalities.

No Guns or Explosives used by Terrorist yet probably over 100 deaths.

And if the Truck has been turned into a Big Bomb as in what happened in OKC then the Causalities including deaths could run into the Thousands and if close enough to the building hosting the Convention I think we all know what could happen.

I was thinking the same thing about the truck bomb...

I could see this easily happen at any large sporting event here.

Obviously, we need tougher background checks for truck buyers. And we need to make it illegal for private owners to sell a truck without going through the background check. Because we need the government to keep us safe.

As to a Truck Bomb this is what I am concerned about.

A smaller Truck like a Chevy Van can easily be driven into a Shopping Mall or Sports Stadium, so what if a Terrorist had 1,000 lb or more of ANFO in the Van and drove it into a Mall or Stadium and detonated it, and to make it worse surround the Explosive with a few hundred pounds or more of nails or scrap metal.

In my area most if not all Malls, and Stadiums including High School where they hold Pep Rallies have Double Doors which are large enough to drive a Car or Van into.

I tell People that I am not worried about a Terrorist with a gun what I am concerned about is Terrorists using Explosives and if or when they start using Truck or Car Bombs within the USA then Real Terrorism will begin.

Looks like some of the French cops had been on bicycles in hot pursuit of the bad guy until he stopped, threw their bikes down and then rushed the truck.

There has just been an Axe Attack on a Train In Germany at least 20 injured.
