It's Cat 4 now, and could be Cat 5 before it makes landfall. This is nothing to trifle with. If you're near the coast where this thing hits, you will die. If they're telling you to evacuate, don't be an idiot. Get the heck out.

We survived the storm. By the grace of God our house is undamaged. We got electricity restored on the 1st. A bunch of crews from a company named "PIKE" came down and are setting a record for restoration. They are really getting after it. We are very thankful for them. Still a lot of homes damaged and without power. Answering a lot of calls for people injured during tree clearing and as always the ones that put their generator too close to their house or IN their house and can't figure out why they have a headache and feel like crap.

We still don't have cable, which I don't miss and internet which i do. Cell service is spotty at best but they are slowly getting everything back on line. Most of the gas stations are back online. Lines were long for a bit.

That's about it for now. Thanks for the thoughts and concerns.
