How that SOB Arpaio ever became a darling of the Tea party really gets me. The man was pushing the edge of human rights violations even before such practices became popular, and now pushes it further. All I know is I am glad he does not really have a white sounding name, so as far as I am concerned, what he does is not really all "white man's fault" the way the dems like to say it is.

I think the few hundred pounds of deputy on the victims back had more to do with his death than the electricity though.

Arpaio is a master of the sound byte. He has this old west lawman motiff going, plus look at Phoenix; lots of retired folks to play his tough on crime image.

The Tea Party was co-opted a few years ago back when they and the future OWS had points in common, but you won't hear a peep about that.

I'm sure he'll go along with the gun confiscations when they pull that. Won't THAT be a surprise for his Tea Party supporters-those that avoid his hyperactive police.
