But he wasn't on any watch list or database. He appaently had some literature on him suggesting "strong anti-government views." What that means, I have no idea. NBC News reporter Pete Williams identified the suspect in Friday’s LAX shooting as 23-year-old Paul Anthony Ciancia who, according to authorities, had literature on him that suggests “strong anti-government views.” Williams noted, however, that NBC News could not confirm that Ciancia was in any federal or state database or that he had been listed as a potential violent anti-government threat.
Williams reported that Ciancia was born in 1990 and is an American citizen. The motive for why he shot multiple people at the Los Angeles airport, killing one, remains unconfirmed.
“We’re told, that he had strong anti-government views,” Williams reported. “That’s based on some written material that we’re told he was carrying, that they found on him after he was shot by L.A. airport police.”
Williams noted that the shooter may have had some connection with the Transportation Safety Administration and had targeted TSA agents as his victims.
“So, it would seem to be a combination of anti-government views and some kind of grudge against the TSA,” Williams said of the shooter’s motivation.
He added that no database indicates that Ciancia was on a watch list and the shooters home has not been searched. Onward and upward, airforce

Maybe he was groped in a way he didn't like by the TSA?

Bound to start happening. Not surprised at all, and maybe he was for real and maybe he was a false flag.
My guess, here, he was for real. For whatever reasons he decided he was going to make his point by tagging a fixed location checkpoint. Pretty basic and simple guerrilla strategy.
The post office shootings were usually personal in nature, then became issues against the system in the mind of the shooter. I think what we are going to start seeing more of are attacks on individuals because they somehow symbolize the system, while those actually giving order or having responsibility hide behind various levels of security and anonymity.

Have they explained what exactly was anti-Government about his views? Everything is all about context.

Hey, I disavow any involvement or inspiration, but what the hell does the government expect?
People are getting more pissed off and someone did something. Some people sit and talk shit into their YouTube cameras, some people, one in ten thousand, have the balls or craziness (AKA, uncommon personal motivation characteristics) to go out and do something.

He apparently intended to kill at least one TSA officer , to demonstrate lax security with TSA, and to instill fear in TSA officers. Mission accomplished, at least as far as the murder went. He shot Gerardo Hernandez, saw that he was still moving, and went back to shoot him again. He is said to have used a Smith & Wesson M&P15. Look for some more talk about banning "assault rifles" again. Onward and upward, airforce

Mark Potok, of the Southern Poverty Law Center, of course jumped on this story quickly. But you might be surprised to learn just how he describes us . ...The TSA, short for the Transportation Security Administration, is an agency of the DHS charged with ensuring the security of transportation, most notably air transportation. Although it has not been widely singled out by Patriots, it has been subjected to criticism by far-right homophobes, among others, who have alleged that TSA agents engaging in hand searches are really sexually groping travelers.... Well, there you have it. I'm a far-right homophobe, among others. Onward and upward, airforce

Wait, what the *uck am I reading? Am I seriously seeing this dude call people who object to enhanced searches, homophobes? I understand they have a narrative to meet but even for the left that's stretching the bounds of mental gymnastics.
