The people they will be after are the government employees who are still getting the upper middle class paychecks. It may or may not expand to class warfare from that, but lets look at the two social subgroups for a moment:
The lowest classes in our society are often put there artificially by others using a system which makes it easier to go on welfare than to participate in the "free" economy. Look at felons for instance, by the scarlet letter of the felony conviction, usually denied employment but encouraged to go on welfare and food stamps, sometimes by threat of either go to jail or go on welfare when they are caught "working illegally" such as "under the table" or in self employment without jumping through numerous hoops of restrictive prohibatory regulation which is design to protect existing business interests and pull the ladder out from competition.
Orphans, even street orphans, children of the working poor and those in jail, often forced to fend for themselves, or even worse, disinformed through the education indoctrination system, again fed lies which are engineered to keep them out of the competitive workforce for as long as possible. Look at how many are put through resume writing instruction vs establishing self employment and their own enterprise, and when "taught" self enterprise, are given the long lectures about the barriers to business posed by regulation, as if that is a good thing.
Then, lets look at that upper middle government worker class. First, they know the score very well. They may promote the jive among each other, but they don't often outright lie to each other about the real stuff. They know the score, they know the game very well, they demonstrate their mastery of the game and shove that in people's faces every day at the street level.
When people like that grocer who got his bank account seized have to deal with beggars every day, and then the arrogance of the well paid government takers, that's where the breaking point starts to come in to play. That separation between the privelaged class and those who are being taken from.
Then the really dangerous alliance forms, between a newly disenfanchised but somewhat prepared upper class, and the disenfranchised lower class. That's where the Robin Hoods and their merry men arise to put down the Sheriff of Nottingham. That's when the clearly defined rewards of revolution start to outweigh the less clearly defined rewards of compliance, when both the rich and the poor realize that it is impossible to comply and succeed, that there is something intangible and inexcusably necessary to get ahead: the social approval of the police state.
If you are prepped for this, then it is possible to be in for making a whole lot of winning moves over the next few months.
