I won't argue with you, but I will only add that the vast majority of LEOs, from locals to fed-goons, are motivated by what The Lord Jesus Christ refers to in His Holy Writ as "unrighteous mammon."
God will ultimately judge them, but there must be some reason He has placed the armed militia here...
