Broken horn time: we are wasting our time trying to find national solutions when we don't have the clout or the numbers to get what we want. The only way is to do what every other group in America has done; built a political base from the grass roots. This lesson will only sink in after they round up anyone even remotely politically active against the beast. We've wasted a lot of time, effort, energy and money supporting a few token, symbolic national candidates.
