With all due respect, the TEA Party has been subverted at the national level and all good people who signed up are being led around in circles. Happens every time. I should know I was at Tea Party Patriots trying to interest people in a better strategy than a few dozen national candidates.
And those candidates-where are the coat tails? Where are the state and more importantly LOCAL campaigns? The dem/rep machine doesn't neglect the local campaigns, they know the value of giving JUST ENOUGH to the locals to make them feel that they're 'participating'.
6 in 10 Americans want spending cuts. Great. Do those 6 in 10 Americans have a clue about what else is needed? Do they have a clue that most of the tyranny in this country is at the LOCAL level?
This is the same thing I've been telling folks since 2005. You cannot take the federal government peaceably unless you have a grass roots movement that can 1. sustain itself and 2. be decentralized enough to resist being infiltrated and subverted like the TEA party yet have the overall unity of purpose.
If there's anything I've learned about the Patriot Movement its that we love to fight among ourselves. The enemy is like punching a blob that will smother you-you won't do anything to it but get its attention. Now someone obstensively on the same page but you dislike them? It's fucking on buddy!
The only thing I've seen work at the national level are... get ready for this... during the last immigration blowout when Congress was about to grant millions of illegals amnesty once more and all the death threats poured in. Even megacunt Nancy Pelosi was shaking in her thousand dollar heels at her podium about all the calls.
Didn't last. Can't last.
We need to wise up, figure out a long game, stop fighting and being pissed at each other, or letting COINTELPRO divide us, and start harnessing that anger, educate those awakened but still naive Americans about the REAL DEAL and go from there.
That means following the example of the GIs of Athens TN, 1946... not necessarily the shooting part but the part about organizing recall elections and sweeping the rats out of public office so we can have prosperity, low taxes, repatriate the CAFR investments back into the community, fire all the dirty cops. Then repeat in the next community.
The enemy FEARS the recall campaigns! They really do and are trying to erect barriers toward stopping them, because they WORK.
Atlas Shrugged. Read part of it. Didn't care for it but that's me. All the gulches trying to stay away from the beast-won't succeed. We've been trying to detach and disengage from the enemy and as a stand alone strategy it is an utter failure.
And libertarians have left a bad taste in my mouth; you can't talk to them, and if you propose anything like I do you get labeled a 'racist' and banned. Happened to me at the 'free state project'.
Symbolic acts and men on white horses have been our downfall.
