He will screw with the wrong people and likely get patted down by a couple of guys with baseball bats one of these days. That said, people tend to know which women are into false accusations and which are not, but someone doing that all the time is likely to just plain get caught on camera or by witnesses who are not intimidated. It's been happening a fair amount here in Oregon lately, with about 50% of those caught doing time.

The second degree murder charges are entirely appropriate in these cases where they blatantly beat a person to death with little or no justification, and in the long run are probably saving other cops lives because if these prosecutions don't happen, people will just start targeting whoever has uniforms and badges for retaliation just like Christopher Monfort did.

Also note, Monfort's statements in court show that he acted in full conscience of what he was doing and feels he has no apologies to make.

And what is it with the Ramos family? I seem to hear that name come up more often than it should in wrongful shooting and beating cases.
