Look at what the original committees, sons of liberty and in particular the regulators did.
They actually had each others back, refused to pay taxes, paid each others bail when arrested, and bought back or forcibly retrieved each others property when confiscated by the government. They also rescued each other from leo custody by force when necessary.
They petitioned their government for a redress of grievances and when public officials refused to listen; they were drug into the street and horsewhipped. Many gov. officials had their property seized and their houses burned to the ground.
Nor were tyrannical judges exempt from this treatment. Several courts were taken over by the people. the judges thrown out or placed under arrest and a few courthouses burned.
