It just dawned on me, but this decision must be especially damning for Georgetown law professor Randy Barnett. He argued the individual mandate could not be justified under either the Commerce Clause or the Necessary and Proper Clause,
won both arguments, but lost the case anyway. I'm glad I'm not him right now. I'd be kicking holes in the wall.
Anyway,
he\'s written an article about the decision already . You just have to admire a man like him.
And whenever it comes time for President Romney or President Johnson to nominate someone to the Supreme Court, they could do a whole lot worse than Professor Barnett.
