Remember, the guy is alive and the police are squeezing him right now. Locals have him and when you have a bodycount like that you just can't contain a situation very well by having some "Men In Black" show up, wave credentials and claim they now own the case. Maybe 30 years ago, but now, everyone is going to be suspicious and will take a crack at the guy.

I think it is a big deal that his apartment did not self destruct and destroy evidence of what he was up to over the last few months and a lot more information will be forthcoming. Coming to absolute conclusions now that get shot down later will just make you look stupid.

Someone is right in noting that the guy apparently spent a lot of money on hardware in the last few months and was equipped like some of our guys spend a few years getting together. Estimates are in the $10K to 20K which is not exactly "broke medical student" turf.

Supposedly there are ties to "occupy" but why not a raid on a bank? Stock brokerage? A 101 California street type thing? Occupy has plenty of their own enemies lists and I don't remember crowded movie theater full of random people being among them.

Life liberty, and the pursuit of those who threaten them.
