Yeah, that sucks. Figure someone somewhere would have to pull a stunt to make the prepper/survivalist look bad since we are getting somewhat positive feedback over the new Discovery channel shows.

The threat is that survivalism can go at least as far into the mainstream as the biker culture has and thus you are not instantly guilty of being a bad guy for being a survivalist, even borderline outlaw survivalist, just like the bikers have become the Quasi-Antiheroes of a fallen society.

I have in mind, maybe some sort of militia/survivalist/prepper themed take on Sons of Anarchy...
