Fox News article here. I'm not sure just how a child who has passed the state's Hunter Safety Course, and is photographed holding a .22 rifle, equates to "child abuse." Note that New jersey has a Child Abuse Hotline, and police are required to follow up on any lead they get, which I suppose is all well and good. But note also that
no one can be prosecuted for filing a false report of child abuse.
Note also the police wanted access to his gun safe, and he refused to give it, telling them to come back with a warrant. They never came back.
