I was talking with a retired Philly cop the other day ago. He happens to be black and mentioned how it was during the Watts riots, as he was there. Anyway, he made note of the temps now.

A FBI guy I know has said the same thing in the past. High temps seem to have an affect of people who are predisposed to rioting.

Not going to sweat this, but will be aware of the situation.
