I really think we have more to fear on betrayal from the conservatives who own the military/police side of the government teat and will use that highly organized force to loot what they want by force than the public services/welfare side controlled by the liberals who constantly trade and jockey favors out of the public purse but don't know what to do when it runs out.
The guy is right about how these Neocon salesmen show up for the "lead us to victory" program, just as what happens to people on some of the other socialistic sides of the fence.
Notice how they continue to marginalize people like Mark Koernke and then when push comes to shove, a lot of this new crop of leaders in a lot of circles talks the talk of resistance and revolution as long as it only does not involve attack police or military. Yeah whatever.
I really can't stress enough that if it is not personal, don't go marching in the first waves of any of this, but keep preparing, get your networks sorted out, and establish the covenant/retreat/redoubt communities in order to prove that you can run ANY community before trying to march up any state capitol steps to fight for a place at the government teat.
That, and cut the fuckers off. We need independence. One big sorry excuse I keep hearing from people, especially those most capable of doing a real restorative revolution or making a stand is "how will I support my family if I do this and it costs me my job?".
If you live on a government check of ANY sort, you need to be totally set up to either have that cut off from you or walk away at a moment's notice. That usually means owning the means or a share of the means of wealth production (like a farm, factory or both) which you can transition right into when the times get meaner.
Chances are, that means being less of an individual and more of a team player in the enterprise, whatever that is, but I can only give the advice and lead by example with my own limited resources. I cannot bankroll it, and those who are entirely capable of bankrolling it are refusing to. That's one of the many litmus tests I see to kill the legitimacy of a lot of phoney conservatives who are in reality, just another form of collaborator.
The more clever types are getting more involved with charity, but that only buys a little time and is just a slightly more public form of wealth redistribution to buy off the hostility of the economic losers. The socialists are probably the most adept at using charity, even institutionalized charity to buy pacification from economic losers. The reason the socialists prefer the poor to remain poor or at least dependent, is the simple economy of having to buy off the possibility of violent retaliation. That's where the endemic of tantrum politics hit the Black community, the constant affirmation that the way things get done in the liberal dominated political machine is to threaten tantrum in order to get more handout. That is one of the many results of the fact that the political machines that purchase the most Black votes do so on the economy of scale. Farrakhan and his followers, in reality are very conservative, just obviously not aligned with traditional Republican conservatives due to the history, not the actual system of belief.
Just today I managed to piss several people off in order to avoid continuing to be the "economic loser" on a few levels, and in none of those instances should I have even been in conflict with anyone on it, but in every instance, I was expected to be the loser and had to push back just to break even with my humble lifestyle.
I'll repeat myself here. The answer in both short term survival and long term strategy absolutely positively has to be the enclave communities. If you can't involve yourself in at least a part time enclave community, you have zero business telling the rest of the country what to do.
