I can't blame the banks for a whole lot of this. They played games for sure, but a hell of a lot of people just plain refused to listen and played with them.

When you have an economy like the late 1990s that was being entirely driven by home equity loans being used to finance luxury cars and exotic vacations, the music had to stop somewhere. I also have not had any personal problems with the "elite" or "ultra wealthy" but every upper middle class lying manipulating prick who did his best to squeeze my costs up as high as possible and my wage/commission as low as possible is directly responsible for me having walked away with less money in life, not some banks that declined a loan or demanded repayment for a loan or "elite" I never met. It's the real estate lawyer who looks me in the face after stiffing payment to the company I work with on TV installs who tells me she does not care if I ever get paid for it. It is the real estate broker and business owner who jerks me around for three days checking out and haggling the price on a new Cadillac and then tells my boss it's because the dealership 50 miles away will sell the car for a lease payment that is $8 per month lower. How about the guy who owns the successful sporting goods store on the other side of town, decides that I a "too much competition" with 80% lowers, and calls the BATF to investigate me, or the moving company owner who charges clients $50 per hour, pays his help minimum wage, would never hire me anyway, and calls the state to come down on me for having an ads on craigslist to move haul stuff for people with my van at what was then only $15 per hour.

None of those "bites" are enough to make me want to engage in total warfare over it, but they have been enough to make me pretty bitter about a lot of things. That is also why I don't think everything in society as a whole is savageable, but we should concentrate our efforts at establishing, securing and developing our own communities where we can do more to look after our own way of life according to our own values.

Now this Obamacare BS, of forcing people to become customers of the health insurance agency, that's an elite money grab, but a very specific side of the elite. The guys over at stormcloudsgathering are drawing some pretty clear lines between Obamacare and a program that Richard Nixon tried to float over 30 years ago that got shot down, and from the Nixon tapes, it was obviously a government sourced corporate scam. I don't know about you guys, but I am not falling for that shit, and I was getting in the market for a health care plan anyway, now, probably not. What I am thinking about very seriously now however is how to have a micro-clinic at the survival retreat community and some way of getting a real doctor up there part time.
