Specialized groups vs specialized groups in what is largely an intelligence driven battle space where each group tries to identify, pursue and engage the opposition on their own terms.

We have yet to see a single hot engagement where both sides committed to action in recent years. I can think of two close calls, one involving an attempted arrest of Charlie Puckett, which ended in a draw then strategic win for the Feds, and then the takedown of the Hutaree which was a tactical win for the Feds then eventually a strategic loss for them.

The Hutare case is an example of the intel an infiltration driven battle space where the LE people had assets within the Hutaree defense plan at two levels. One infiltrator in the group, then a traitor leading the "allied" group that surviving members went to for assistance.
