Will Scotland secede from the UK? I still think the Scots will vote no, but it's going to be close. And if they vote yes, the ramifications are going to be huge.

If the Scots vote YES, the chances of great Britain electing a Labor Party government again anytime soon are pretty small. And I can't imagine that Northern Ireland would be very far behind in wanting independence.

But what about secessionist movements in Spain, and even here in the U.S.? Won't this give Texas and other states a few ideas?

This is a vote I'm going to be watching.
