If I am not mistaken Kerodin got his felony conviction while attempting to light a fire under the asses of some mall owners and management companies in areas there was verified intelligence information about Jihadists doing recon and dry runs for future attacks on shopping malls.
Kerodin and his security consulting group wanted to get paid for the work they were doing and to see certain security protocols implemented. For that, it was called extortion. Either way, when someone does fire up a few shopping malls and the Homeland Security people are standing there in the blood and rubble, the only thing they will know for certain is that it was definitely NOT us who did it.
As for most of the report. I fail to see how much I should dispute or care. DHS wants to warn the authorities that if they screw around with "SCEs" then someone might take it personally and do something about it, heck, they might as well get told that they ain't fucking around with the Sunday afternoon bridge and cribbage club or a bunch of punk gangbangers who will knock over a convenience store and terrorize regular disarmed citizens but not tangle with the police. Nah, screw around with the wrong family minivan, you might get shot in the face a few times by a teenage warrior with an AK.
What I see in that report, brief as it is since they don't have much to harp on about crime or public intimidation is they think it's war that people they want to kick around "as usual" snarl or bite back at them.
"Well gee whiz golly dayum Gomer, dems people got some ideological sorta thing going on that prevents them from having proper worship for our-thoritay."
Either way with those people, I see this as a win-win situation. Our people don't do shit unless pushed to the wall and screwed with, in the meantime any resources the government spends on screwing with us is going to have one of two results (or both);
A: Shows how much resources they will withdraw from protecting the public against the Jihadis who have already vowed to overthrow the country. Any act of terror on their part also proves that the "authorities" were spending time, money and effort looking the wrong direction, which makes them of course look stupid and wrong in direct proportion to the amount of damage done by any Jihadis operating within the United States.
B: Shows everyone who cares to look demonstrated proof that "SCEs" are not out to start shit, but can be deadly when threatened. Then someone does something, fits the profile put out, and everyone who looks at it says "well, looks like the government screwed with the wrong people who probably ought to have been left alone". Good, that's called street credibility. We need that badly.
C: The booby prize: DHS demonstrates infiltration and control by Jihadi sympathetic agents and other anti-American types who are trying to create and chase "domestic terrorist" boogeymen and create operational cover for Jihadi terrorist acts along with state sponsored organized crime, neither of which we have anything to do with, but the victims of which will go howling when it happens. Again, we take damage from such criminal acts, but our credibility and our reputation grow in the eyes of the public when it happens.
