I am not sure if I would be calling all of those things "horrific". The homicides usually run in cycles. Quite often, half of them deserved to get shot anyway and everyone there knows why, since they were most likely the perpetrators of the other half of the homicides and several of the robberies.
When it is disputable, like killings over "disrespect" or a sloppy hit where someone used children as hi,an shields and children got shot, then it goes on for a while.
Anyway, "communities they deserve" has a lot of elements to it and I don't think a return to over policing is the solution in either event, but that's them.
I am ok with the concept of just shooting some bad seed sons of bitches than having to deal with a heavy police presence as long as I don't have to go to jail if it's me who ends up snuffing the mugger. It's the muggers with badges who you can't legally kill who get to be the biggest hassle.
