Well, that coup just kind of fizzled out. Erdogan now wants the plotters arrested and punished as traitors and terrorists.

One of the terrorists Erdogan wants is Fetullah Gulen , leader of the "parallel state," or FETO/PDY. This could be interesting, since Gulen lives in exile in Pennsylvania. He runs a network of charitable organizations and other businesses here, including about 150 charter schools.

The U.S. has previously declined to extradite him to Turkey, where he is wanted on terrorism charges.
