I have a unconfirmed report from 2 different sources stating that American military bases are going on "alert". Can anyone confirm or deny?
There is another report coming out of the middle east that has Erdogan claiming he will restore the caliphate. And, that he intends to reestablish islamic "order" in Libya and Egypt.
Militarily, Turkey has the potential to become the regional "big dog". They have a strong military with the industrial capacity to build much of their own equipment. Erdogaan is also reportedly saying that he intends to cut ties with the west and is supposedly in contact with Russian arms dealers.
