Many people,including his attornies, claim he said that someone tried to kill him and that he wasn't suicidal. They're demanding to see the unedited surveillance video. And, why were the guards who were supposed to be on watch mysteriously absent?
Good questions. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to learn his death was a case of autoerotic asphyxiation gone wrong. Epstein was one sick SOB, I wouldn't put it past him.
Surveillance video should show when officers checked, or at least walked past, his cell. It wouldn't show what was happening in his cell. Contrary to a lot of reports I've seen lately, there are no cameras
inside a cell. If someone was entering or leaving his cell, the cameras should catch it - assuming the camera was pointed in the right direction. Not all institutions have cameras that capture everything in a pod or cellblock continuously, but are panned around.
