TUCKER: ‘President Trump Must Pardon Roger Stone’ to Prevent ‘RussiaGate 2’
Tucker Carlson made the case that President Trump must pardon Roger Stone, not only to save Stone's life, but to finally end the Russia hoax
By Tom Pappert | National File Thursday, February 13, 2020
On the Wednesday night broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight, Carlson urged President Donald Trump to pardon Roger Stone, who was facing up to 9 years in prison until the Department of Justice rescinded its sentencing recommendations, and said doing so will prevent Democrats from claiming that his conviction and sentence prove the “Russia Hoax” was real.
In Carlson’s view, Democrats will use the conviction and sentence of Stone as “prima facie” evidence that Russia did, in fact, manipulate the 2016 election by hacking the DNC, then provide the information to Wikileaks, who released the information through Stone.
“This is a pure political hit,” said Carlson. “Roger Stone is facing prison because he is a high profile Donald Trump supporter. It’s that simple. You want proof? Here it is. John Brennan and James Clapper will sleep at home tonight.”
“Both have been caught lying, under oath, on camera, about matters of national importance,” declared Carlson. “And yet neither is in jail. Neither has been indicted. Neither ever will be.”
Carlson then pointed out that the lead prosecutor for Stone’s case “is now literally an MSNBC contributor,” and condemned that the judge in the case as “an out of control Democratic partisan, who purely out of spite stripped Roger Stone from his First Amendment rights, and prevented him from making a living.”
“Now Stone and his wife, who is 71-years-old and deaf, have lost their home because of this,” continued Carlson. “They have no insurance, they’re utterly broke. The whole thing is shocking, and it’s disgusting. It’s a farce that discredits the entire American justice system.”
Carlson added that President Trump seems to share this conclusion, pointing to a recent tweet by the president, Only your patronage to the Infowars Store is what keeps this beacon of truth lit in the controlled-narrative darkness.
“This is a horrible and very unfair situation,” President Trump wrote on Twitter. “The real crimes were on the other side, as nothing happens to them.”
“Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice!’
Carlson then made his case that the conviction and sentencing of Stone will vindicate Democrats’ claim that President Trump was only elected due to interference from Russia.
“Stone’s prosecution was designed, in part, to confirm the fantasies that Democrats have constructed to explain the outcome of the 2016 election,” said Carlson. “In other words, if the Russia collusion story was a hoax, and of course it most certainly was a hoax, then why is Roger Stone going to prison for his role in it?”
Carlson then began to make his case for President Trump to immediately pardon Stone.
“If Roger Stone serves even a single day behind bars, the Russia lie will be validated as true. Stone’s imprisonment will be prima facie evidence in the view of Democrats,” declared Carlson. “So at this point there is really only one solution, the president must pardon Roger Stone or commute his sentence before he goes to jail.”
Carlson conceded that “Democrats will howl if he does that,” but noted that “They’re howling anyway. They howl every day.”
He also pointed out that “Chuck Schumer is now yelping about yet another investigation into Roger Stone,” calling it “RussiaGate 2.”
Concluding, Carlson added that “In one entirely constitutional act, the president can save Roger Stone’s live, vindicate himself, and end this nonsense forever.”

Dems Demand Barr Resign, Float Second Trump Impeachment Over Roger Stone Controversy
Trump just needs to start acting aggressive like he did during the 2016 campaign. There's no pleasing his opponents.
By Zero Hedge Friday, February 14, 2020
While Attorney General William Barr continues his investigation into Russiagate for which Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said ‘half the people are going to jail’ if we ‘just hang tight,’ Democrats across the board are calling for his resignation – or impeachment, following his decision to overrule federal prosecutors on their recommended sentence for former Trump adviser Roger Stone.
There’s also been talk of a second Trump impeachment over allegations that he interfered in Stone’s case, according to Fox News.
From members of Congress to members of the media, political operatives to law professors, Barr is under intense scrutiny from the left for alleged “misuse of the criminal justice system” involving not only the Stone case, but for the removal of a U.S. Attorney and accepting Ukraine-related information from Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani. –Fox News
In a Friday tweet, Trump quoted Barr’s highly-publicized comments Thursday that he’s never been asked to intervene in a criminal case – saying “This doesn’t mean that I do not have, as President, the legal right to do so…”
Barr has agreed to answer questions during a March 31 hearing in front of Rep. Jerry Nadler’s (D-NY) House Intelligence Committee, after Nadler wrote “you have engaged in a pattern of conduct in legal matters relating to the President that raises significant questions for this Committee,” in a letter confirming that Barr would testify.
After Barr took the unprecedented step to soften a recommended 7 to 9 year sentence for lying, witness tampering and other process crimes, four DOJ prosecutors resigned their posts, while Democrats called the move “without precedent.”
“This situation has all the indicia of improper political interference in a criminal prosecution,” said Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in a letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz regarding Stone’s sentencing. “I therefore request that you immediately investigate this matter to determine how and why the Stone sentencing recommendations were countermanded, which Justice Department officials made this decision, and which White House officials were involved.”
Sen. Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., said Barr “ought to be ashamed and embarrassed and resign as a result of this action directly interfering in the independent prosecution of Roger Stone.” He also said the controversy was yet another example of “political interference by the president to alter the independent decisions of the Department of Justice.”
Nadler didn’t answer a question on whether Barr should resign but said: “I think the behavior is extremely egregious.” -Fox News
Democrats’ freakout over Barr’s intervention in the Stone case comes on the heels of their last freakout over Barr’s willingness to accept information from Rudy Giuliani gathered during the course of his independent Ukraine investigation.
Nadler openly posited that Barr might be “in league with Mr. Giuliani and his associates.”
MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner has called for Barr’s impeachment, saying that the AG has lied “to Congress, he lied about the Mueller report, he refuses to investigate obvious crimes by the administration, he is conflicted out of many matters but refuses to recuse.”
Others to mention impeachment include Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., liberal Harvard law professor Laurence Tribe and self-labeled conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin. House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., condemned Barr on Thursday and called for an investigation but did not outright call for impeachment. Sen. Cory Booker joined calls for an investigation. -Fox News
Indeed, there is no shortage of triggerings for Democrats who seek to dismantle the Trump administration by any means possible.

Tucker Carlson Calls For Roger Stone Judge’s Impeachment Says judge a “Democratic activist wearing robes”
By Infowars.com Friday, February 21, 2020
Fox host Tucker Carlson called for the impeachment of the federal judge that sentenced Trump confidant Roger Stone to 40 months behind bars for ‘witness tampering and obstruction.’
Carlson slammed U.S. District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson for politically targeting Stone for his ‘real’ crime of “spending 40 years giving political advice to Donald Trump and then gleefully mocking the people in charge.”
“Stone’s sentence was delivered by an Obama-appointed judge called Amy Berman Jackson,” said Carlson Thursday night. “You often hear people say that our justice system has been infected by politics. Amy Berman Jackson is living proof that it has been.”
“She’s an open partisan who has so flagrantly violated the bounds of Constitutional law and fairness that it’s shocking she’s still on the bench. If there’s anyone in Washington who deserves to be impeached, it’s Amy Berman Jackson.”
Carlson went on to call Jackson a “partisan judge” and said she lied about Stone being charged for covering up any crime related to “spying for Russia.”
“Nobody connected to the president has ever been charged with a crime related to spying for Russia or colluding with Russia, much less convicted of one,” said Carlson. “If they can do it to Roger Stone and win accolades from CNN as they do, they can certainly do it to you.”
Moreover, Carlson also said Stone’s First Amendment rights were under assault due to the ongoing gag order on him.
“The entire Democratic Party and their servants in the press can defame Stone at will, and they are relentlessly, but if Stone dares to express his own opinion, Amy Berman Jackson will send him to jail immediately,” added Carlson during his monologue. “She’s banned him from speaking publicly about the case in any way. He can’t tweet or write on Facebook. No social media. He can’t do television, he can’t speak to reporters. He cannot even express himself indirectly. If Roger Stone asked a friend or family member to deliver a statement on his behalf, he would be violating Judge Jackson’s order.”
“What you’re watching is the capricious authoritarianism of a Democratic activist wearing robes. It’s terrifying,” he said before calling on President Trump to “pardon Stone immediately.”
“This farce must end,” he concluded.
