Not to mention those troublesome reptilian shape shifters from Niburu! What used to be confined to Coast to Coast AM is suddenly going mainstream. Just what are those things tormenting those Navy ships and crews?

Well, everyone else has some sort of wild theory about it, so I might as well jump in with my own.

Government's around the world have discovered how easy it is to create a panic and grab more control from the People. But now that the Kung Flu is winding down, the government needs another panic. Easy enough - panic the People with flying saucers!

Think the Navy wouldn't agree to play their part? Just ask the crew of the USS Maddox. Yeah, they could fake something like this without any problem.

Are these things really a hoax? I don't know, but I'll put five bucks on it.

On Sept. 21, 1987, then-U.S. President Ronald Reagan gave an address to the United Nations General Assembly. In an often-quoted section of his speech, Reagan asked rhetorical questions and commented about the nations and cultures of the world uniting in common efforts to live in peace and avoid wars and bloodshed.

“Perhaps we need some outside, universal threat to make us recognize this common bond,” Reagan proposed.

“I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world."

Anyone else watching that 3-hour show on the Discovery Channel about UAP's tonight? It's a little more enlightening than that 9 page Pentagon report released a few days ago, but I don't expect any real answers. But it's interesting, and just so far I've learned a few things I didn't know before. And it's interesting that one of the panelists is George Knapp, who is probably most famous for being a guest host on Coast to Coast AM.

Personally, I think these sightings, or at least some of them, are a weather-related phenomenon. It's just hard for me to believe that the laws of physics work differently for extraterrestrials than they do for us. But I'll keep an open mind.
