COULD LETTING THE ARABS TAKE KHARG ISLAND WHILE AMERICA OWNS THE SKY BE THE MOVE THAT BREAKS IRAN?!

Here is the play almost nobody is talking about.

Kharg Island is the jugular. Nearly all of Iran's oil flows through that one 20 mile patch of rock, close to 90 percent of exports and roughly 78 billion dollars a year that funds the regime and its Revolutionary Guard.

Cut it off, and the money that pays for missiles and terror dries up.

The problem is simple. Americans are not ready to send our sons and daughters onto that island, and no one should pretend otherwise.

So here is the answer. Let the nations Iran has actually been bombing do the walking.

Saudi Arabia fields around 250,000 troops and an air force stronger than Iran's. The UAE is a lean 65,000 strong force the Pentagon calls Little Sparta. These are not weak partners.

Give the Saudis, the Emiratis, and the Jordanians the ground assignment, flush the IRGC out into the open, and let overwhelming American and allied airpower do what it does best.

Make no mistake, an island assault is a hard and dangerous mission, not a weekend raid. But this is the rare fight where the countries with the grievance and the manpower carry the ground, and America carries the sky.

Iran built its empire on that one island. It is time somebody took it away.
