In this next year I will be building my house and my pops brought up this very subject just the other night. I was planing on a Spanish hacienda house with a center court yard but I'll have to look into bastions on opposing corners. I never put much thought about architecture until I got 3 acres from my folks and started lookin into house building and codes. Awsome article Strat, thanks.
