I fully agree that we cannot depend on emergency services at any scale for the first critical days, or even weeks given a disaster of epic proportions.

It is in the best interest for each of us to be more involved within our local community.

I have pretty good neighbors who can be trained to maintain order. My neighbors don't know it yet, but when the need arises, I will assist them in keeping their houses in order, and in turn, each of them will be obligated in protecting the community at large.

Most sheople are still stuck in the current system of thought, but given the proper paradigm shift, they will become hungry, malleable students of survival.

I would gladly lay aside the use of arms and settle matters by negotiation, but unless the whole will, the matter ends, and I take up my battle rifle, and thank God that He has put it within my grasp.
