When out in the field, and you get a hold of something bad, like food poisoning. At the first sign, bad stomach aches, take about 2 table spoons of wood charcoal from camp fire.If you still after about 5 minutes take some more. The wood charcoal is the blackened by product of burning wood, not the white gray powdery looking stuff.Take branch from fire, make sure completly out not smoldering, brake off some pieces of black stuff, and smoosh it between palm and fingers. You can use cold fire charcoal but freasher the better. You can also use powderd charcoal as camoflage on face-neck and back of hands.

Great tip!
I keep a bottle of charcoal from a health food store in my cupboard for emergencies. Maybe a bottle should be added to our 1st line gear?
