Here are directions for planting your very own doughnut tree.
1) First you'll need to buy the seeds. They are commonly found at your local grocery store. General Mills makes a pretty good brand of doughnut seeds. They come in a bright yellow box.

2) You'll need to soften the seed coats up a little. Put the seeds in a small bowl and pour in milk until it comes up to about 1/3 to 1/2 of the bowl. Here is a photo of the seeds soaking in milk: http://media.photobucket.com/image/cheerios/kposkey/cheerios.jpg?o=12

3) Dig a hole about 6 inches deep in loose, moist, and fertile soil.

4) Place 3 to 5 doughnut seeds into the hole. Cover the hole and water generously.

5) Go back inside and eat the rest of that box of Cheerios you just bought.

Its not worth getting unless they're heritage seeds.

The hybred ones will not reproduce from the plants you grow thus always needing seeds.

Yes, I planted a dozen of these last year and they're coming along pretty well. Make sure you mulch, that way there are fewer weeds to worry about and the ground stays moist and warm.

I heard there's a fungus attacking the spaghetti trees, and this year the harvest will be low, so they are raising prices on existing spaghetti.

You'd better hurry to the store.
