Just finished building several of these and wanted to say, they work great and so I made a how to paper on it. These pumps will work to at least 75' depths, and possibly further down.

This is a completely modular design that can be made for your well even if it's shallow and several lengths longer for other wells. It's portable, light, and easy to use. Does not rely on electric or fossil fuels so you could say it's enviormentally friendly.

I should point out it's good for not only wells, but pumping out water from streams, rivers, barrels etc

Here is the link to the two part how to article. Any questions feel free to ask.

Thank you MissionKill.

I realized I forgot to add if anyone does build one, please post your experience and how far down you went and how far out from the top you pumped (some use it to pump water uphill too) and what your GPM (gallons per minute) was on average.

It's a good quick thinking pump. I have used one similar to reach through a fence to some utility water. Worked great at several angles and about 40 foot horizontal and 25 ft vertical reaches.

Caution, I do NOT advocate looting and some ideas can be fatal around electrical lines etc. but being prepared to glob a thief onto needed supplies is something to prepare for. PVC pipe can generate static sparks around petroleum products and Gas. so use of stainless steel or other safe materials is a must in many situations.

Does anyone one know of one that will go to about 350-feet? Our pump goes pretty deep here in SE AZ...

Thanks,

Gab

Hooking it up to a bicycle tire and a stationary bike would increase the output and make it easier to operate.

Also, what is a 3/3" fitting?

No these are good for well to about 75'. There are ways to extend it's reach but then the expense is fairly prohibitive
