To those, who think, they are either to old/physically unable/or at this time don't have what it would take to go to the field,if necessary.
Be all you can be,do what you can to provide a safe house/logistics etc.
It would make a nice christmas present for the needy.

I fall into that rank. 62 yrs old, bad heart and of last Friday morning in a tussel with a riding mower, a broken ankle.
I can still do stuff that is needed, not all are or can be combat ready.

For sustained ops you need more POG's than grunts, but "every man (or woman) a rifleman" is still a good motto.

I always use Red Dawn as an example.

Jeb and the others wouldn't of gone to far without Mr Mason. He couldn't run and gun but he gave them a radio, food, horses, WOMEN, ammo and guns.

Most importantly he gave them information about what was going on in their AO.

Just so long as you particiapate.
Everybody has a different job to do for the cause. What ever that be,give a 110%.

I think I saw one of those once...on the moons of Endor.

A bunch of little furry militiamen were beating the crap out of it.

A friend (who passed away a couple years ago) was a mule handler in Burma during WWII. Looks like we're coming full circle.

It has given me the creeps since the first time I saw it on the web. There are several clips of it on youtube.Heres a link. www.youtube.com/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DW1czBcnX1Ww&v=W1czBcnX1Ww&gl=US .I can imagine a bunch of these mounted with mini guns chasing people through suburbia or the woods.

I want to die in my sleep just like my Grandpa. Not yellin and screamin like the passengers in his car.

I was thinking about that too. All they need to do is mount sensors or tags to identify good guys from bad guys and they could let these things run loose and side-by-side with troops. They could transport troops as they engage, haul ammo, etc.
