I remember something about this Awhile ago IE more than ten years ago it was in either FM 5-103 or 5-125
Using Ice blocks in lieu of sandbags in a cold enviroment.
And I got to thinking about that how you had to cut the ice by hand etc...etc...
And then I got to thinking there had to be another way.....
And then I had this.... Legen..Wait..for it.. and I hope your not lactose intolerent.. Dairy... Idea!!!
What if I could combine my favorite thing in the whole world with an ORIGINAL IDEA...
And truely be the first to ANOUNCE IT TO THE WHOLE WORLD...Not only did I find a way to make an already Great Product Better;

But I now have a chance to be a true Pioneer in the Survival World!!!!

The Manual says something Like Ice Blocks 18 to 24 inches thick.. Well Hmmm. I know something like that that I have a real fondness For RAMEN NOODLES... IN BULK BOXES....
Yep in the cold of winter You just take your Bulk Boxes of Ramen Noodles and start stacking them. As you stack them use a razor knife to slice open the packages. Then pour in your water.. It will freeze
but not until it has totally saturated the noodles. And you now have a perfect ice block 24 plus inches long and about 8 inches thick by 14 inches wide. And stack another one on top and repeat process..... If you need an earth tone use all Beef flavored Noodles and mix in the flavor packets on the outside ones and after they freeze pull the outer plastic off of the Ramen Blocks
Keep this up until your Berm or cover is of desired thickness.!! And Try to resist the temptation of Eating your cover.They cost less than a sandbag. Are easier to fill... and when you decide to leave the A.O you can have a RamenFest before you and your crew Bugs Out...

I will call this the RAMEN DEFENSE!!!!!
Enjoy!!!!

Does this work better with the chicken or the beef flavored packets?

Depends are iyou in a sandy or loamy enviroment. I reckon that would be part of METT-TCT
Terrain you could probably mix and matcht he flavor packets until you got the colors rite

TOP RAMEN NEVER GOES BAD! ...Or does it? I think it just gets hard after a while.
