Trying to EMP proof any vehicle with computer controlled electronic fuel injection and electronic ignition will not work.

Instead restore or retrofit a 1960's or earlier type vehicle that still has a carburetor, mechanical ignition points, and a generator instead of an alternator (because alternators have diodes that EMP can destroy).
