BLM Militants Storm DC Target Store, Threaten to Shut Down Business If Demands Not Met

'Until you stop calling the police, we continue to shut your business down!'

By Infowars.com Sunday, June 28, 2020

A group of militant Black Lives Matter activists stormed a Target store in Washington D.C. over the weekend, threatening to shut down their business if they didn’t meet BLM’s ridiculous demands.

One of the domestic terrorists declared that until the store “stops calling the police” on black people, they will shut down the store for good.

“All black people, living around this neighborhood, living around in this neighborhood, because you prioritize money over people, so until you stop calling the police, we continue to shut your business down,” he said through a megaphone.

They continued marching through the store in Columbia Heights demanding Target stops calling the police on black people…or else face their wrath.

Tonight #BlackLivesMatter protesters marched about ten miles. In the Columbia Heights neighborhood, the group marched into Target and demanded that the store “stop calling the police on black people.”

The group appeared to be following the example of BLM leader Hawk Newsome, who issued a terror threat Wednesday on Fox, warning that if the group didn’t get what they want, they would destroy society.

“If this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it…I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.” said Newsome.

“Until you stop calling the police, we’ll continue to shut your business down,” they chanted before marching away. pic.twitter.com/tLIdwFKeaL

Seattle CHOP Zone Dismantled Day After Occupiers Threatened to Raid Mayor’s Home

But seemingly not in response to weeks of violence.

By Paul Joseph Watson | INFOWARS.COM Wednesday, July 01, 2020

Police dismantled the infamous Seattle CHOP zone seemingly not in response to weeks of lawlessness and violence but in response to a threat made by occupiers to raid Mayor Jenny Durkan’s 5,000 sqft., $7.6 million house.

Durkan originally ordered the area to be dismantled by police over a week ago, but authorities only moved in this morning.

Video clips show a phalanx of armed riot police moving through the downtown area while a few refusniks berate them. The vast majority of occupiers appear to have left before the police arrived.

— Michael Crowe (@MichaelReports) July 1, 2020

Shootings, violent crime and rapes have all been soaring in the area, formerly known as CHAZ, ever since left-wing radicals overran a police precinct and occupied the downtown sector.

Despite the media and some politicians claiming that locals supported the autonomous protest, numerous residents went public with fears for their safety and local businesses repeatedly demanded action.

That action arrived not in response to shooting deaths over two consecutive weekends, including the killing of a 16-year-old teenager, but the very day after radicals threatened to march on and potentially raid Mayor Jenny Durkan’s mansion.

“Let’s see: six shootings, two teenage deaths, and @MayorJenny still says “it’s an arts festival”. THEN, the CHAZ threatens to take over her 5,000 sq ft house worth $7.6 million after her new addition. A DAY LATER, she brings in the police, “end the chaos!” tweeted hedge fund manager James Altucher.

Durkan had previously embarrassed herself by proclaiming CHOP to be a “summer of love,” even as videos out of the zone emerged on a daily basis of fights between protesters and dissidents being beaten up or chased out of the area.

She also told Donald Trump in a tweet “Seattle is fine, don’t be so afraid of democracy.”

The short, contentious and violent history of CHOP illustrates once again how so-called Communist utopias always end in mob rule, lawlessness and ultimate failure.

Father of Black Teen Killed In CHOP Calls For National Guard To Clear Autonomous Zone

"They should deploy them here to say, 'Man, it's time to go'"

By Kelen McBreen | INFOWARS.COM Tuesday, June 30, 2020

The father of a 19-year-old boy who was shot and killed in Seattle’s CHOP last week is speaking out against the lawless “no-cop” zone.

Two other teens have been shot this week and many citizens are saying it’s time to shut down the experimental occupied area.

Horace Lorenzo Anderson spoke with KIRO Seattle in an emotional interview following his son’s death, saying, “I ain’t been sleeping,. You see my eyes. I’ve been crying. I’m trying not to cry on TV.”

“This doesn’t look like a protest to me no more,” he continued. “That just looks like they just took over and said ‘we can take over whenever we want to.’”

Anderson also said the National Guard should be deployed to “break up” the violent “autonomous zone.”

“They should deploy them here to say ‘Man, it’s time to go,’” he stated. “It’s time to move on and break this up. ”

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best also commented on the shootings, telling KIRO Seattle, “I’m not going to let the detractors and the naysayers and the agitators be the ones that are the voice here. There are people who live here. There are multiple people who are being injured and hurt. And we need to do something about it. It is absolutely irresponsible for this discontent to continue.”

Best continued, “Two African American men dead at a place where they claim to be working for Black Lives Matter. But they’re gone. They’re dead now and we’ve had multiple other incidents… Assaults, rape, robbery and shootings.”

As she was speaking, Best was interrupted by a CHOP resident blasting a megaphone siren.

Responding to the man interrupting her news conference, Best said, “That is so rude. This is what I’m talking about. This kind of behavior is irrational and unacceptable.”

Seattle Police Arrest at Least 10 After Orders to Clear CHOP

Crackdown on Antifa-BLM 'autonomous zone' begins

By Sputnik Wednesday, July 01, 2020

Law enforcement officers in the city of Seattle began entering the protest zone on Wednesday morning to enforce an order from the mayor’s office that the area be vacated, the Seattle Police Department said via Twitter.

“Police on scene continue to issue dispersal orders. Officers have made approximately 10 arrests at this time. Anyone seeking to exit the area can still do so to the south, toward Pike Street,” police said via Twitter before later adding: “Three additional arrests at 12/Pike.”

The police also announced that an armed group was approaching law enforcement officers. They also warned that anyone who remains in the area is subject to arrest.

— Seattle Police Dept. (@SeattlePD) July 1, 2020

Commenting on the current situation, the Seattle police chief stated that the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP) has become “lawless and brutal,” citing four shootings and other violent acts in the area.

The self-proclaimed autonomous zone was established at the start of June by demonstrators protesting against the police brutality in the wake of George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis police custody on 25 May.

On 8 June, Seattle police withdrew from the Capitol Hill district, while leaving the Department’s East Precinct building behind, as an act of “trust and de-escalation” after days of clashes with demonstrators.

First, I have to say I favor autonomous zones. But to have a real autonomous zone, you need one of two things:

1. A system that guarantees both liberty and justice, or

2. Enough firepower to silence dissidents and stop outsiders from dismantling your autonomous zone.

Those incompetent commie rat bastards had neither.

Florida Sheriff Threatens to Deputize Gun Owners Against BLM Protesters

"You've been warned."

By Paul Joseph Watson | INFOWARS.COM Thursday, July 02, 2020

A Sheriff in Clay County, Florida has threatened to deputize gun owners against Black Lives Matter protesters if they try to impose “lawlessness” by overwhelming local police forces.

Flanked by his deputies, Sheriff Darryl Daniels released a three minute video urging people to ignore the mainstream media and to not “fall victim to this conversation that law enforcement is bad, that law enforcement is the enemy of the citizens that we’re sworn to protect and serve.”

He then called out Black Lives Matter directly, noting that God was completely absent from their message and that they had made a “spectacle” of “disrupting what we know to be our quality of life in this country.”

Daniels then explicitly warned that legal gun owners would be mobilized to help police if BLM agitators tried to take over the area, as they did for weeks in a downtown area of Seattle.

“If we can’t handle you, I’ll exercise the power and authority as the sheriff, and I’ll make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in this county and I’ll deputize them for this one purpose to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility,” said Daniels, adding “You’ve been warned.”

Looks like the infamous Missouri couple who pointed guns at BLM demonstrators to protect their property should consider moving to Clay County.

Florida Sheriff Warns Antifa/BLM He’ll Deputize ‘Every Lawful Gun Owner in This County’ if Necessary

'I’ll deputize them for this one purpose to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility'

By Adan Salazar | INFOWARS.COM Wednesday, July 01, 2020

A Florida sheriff says he’ll do what he can to protect residents in his county from violent radical leftists, but warns he could go further and deputize lawful gun owners.

In a public service announcement on Facebook Tuesday, Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels disputes the mainstream media’s sympathy for protests that aim to portray law enforcement in a bad light.

“Don’t fall victim or play victim to this conversation that law enforcement is bad, that law enforcement is the enemy of the citizens that we’re sworn to protect and serve,” Daniels says.

The sheriff proceeds to warn violent protesters, who’ve wreaked havoc and torn down statues in major Democrat-run cities in recent weeks, that Clay county law enforcement is ready to take them on.

“If you come to Clay County and you think for one second we’ll bend our backs for you, you’re sadly mistaken,” the sheriff says.

“I know what happens when lawlessness prevails. And in this day and time, God is raising up men and women just like the folks standing behind me who will have strong backbones and will stand in the gap between lawlessness and the citizenry we’re sworn to protect.”

Sheriff Daniels then declares if his department is unable to protect its residents from violent protesters, he’ll deputize gun owners to preserve the county’s quality of life.

“If we can’t handle you, I’ll exercise the power and authority as the sheriff, and I’ll make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in this county and I’ll deputize them for this one purpose to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility.”

“That’s what we’re sworn to do. That’s what we’re going to do. You’ve been warned,” Sheriff Daniels says.

On Monday, footage emerged out of Utah showing a Black Lives Matter protester firing a pistol into an SUV attempting to drive through a mob blocking the road.

“The driver, who is in his 60s, was shot and was taken to the Utah Valley Hospital, underwent surgery and has non-life threatening injuries,” reports Jamie White.

The sheriff’s message also comes as police in New York City grapple with protesters in downtown Manhattan amid a $1 billion budget cut, while the city of Seattle moves in to reclaim a six-block area occupied by leftist anti-police protesters in recent weeks.

This year, words are "violence" but arson is not. Police criminality is real, but the protester's response to it is nonsensical.

Quote
There's a righteous anger driving protests against police brutality in the U.S. But an effort on the left to radically redefine "violence" threatens to alienate people who are attached to a more conventional understanding of that word and trivializes the very real reasons why they're protesting. A demonstration that hinges on an anti-violence orthodoxy needs to employ a coherent definition of their central tenet, should they not want to undermine their own movement.

The leftist case for redefining "violence" relies on two main arguments: damaging a person is morally more serious than damaging an object, and psychologically damaging a person is worse than physically damaging an object.

"One reason it's important to maintain a clear concept of what violence is and isn't, is because true violence is such a deeply terrible human experience," writes Nathan J. Robinson at the socialist magazine Current Affairs. "Actual violence leaves people with brain damage, nightmares, disability, and trauma. The destruction of human bodies is a moral horror that simply cannot exist in the same category as the breaking of objects. Using the word 'violence' to describe the smashing of a window (which is, it should not need saying, incapable of feeling pain) diminishes the term."

Journalists, pundits, and activists alike have made a case similar to Robinson's in dismissing criticism of rioters and looters who have damaged buildings and businesses around the country during protests against police brutality. "Violence is when an agent of the state kneels on a man's neck until all of the life is leached out of his body," Nikole Hannah-Jones, the driving force behind The New York Times' 1619 Project, told CBS News last month. "Destroying property, which can be replaced, is not violence. To use the same language to describe those two things is not moral."

Hannah-Jones, Robinson, and many other supporters of the anti-police violence protests want to keep the media and America focused on state violence against black people, which is pervasive and chronic. Human lives are more intrinsically valuable than inanimate objects, but it does not follow that the destruction of property is insignificant, or that Americans who are concerned about that destruction are immoral or racist. Property is foundational to prosperity. Historical and institutionally racist barriers to obtaining property—like redlining—are a major reason why black wealth in America is a fraction of white wealth. While there is no shortage of concern-trolling about the destruction of black businesses during these protests, the fact is that black-owned businesses are less able to recover from property destruction.

You don't need to see a black life as equal in value to a black-owned business, or to a building or a car, to be concerned about damage to all those things and resistant to people who say should only be concerned about one of them. Litigating which kinds of damage count as "violence" might scratch some kind of polemical itch, but it is not a useful way to build the kind of broad political consensus necessary to end, or at least, dramatically curb state violence against black people.

At the same time, some on the left are attempting to expand the definition of violence to cover acts and behaviors that very few people have historically considered to be violent. "Silence is violence" is a good example. "Racism isn't a black problem. It's a white problem, and their silence is violence," Cherry Steinwender, executive director of the Center for Healing Racism, told the Houston Chronicle in a June 5 article titled, "'Silence is violence:' Why speaking up against racism speaks volumes."

Yes, we should speak up against injustices when we see them. But to say that declining to participate in the debate over policing and race is equivalent to actual physical harm, while also insisting that it is immoral to classify arson as violence, is incoherent.

But the redefining effort does not end there:

Quote
Julia Beck, a lesbian activist from Baltimore and former co-chair of the local LGBTQ Commission, was criticized and expelled from that group for resisting the city's effort to replace "sex" with "gender identity" in certain policies. The Baltimore Transgender Alliance accused Beck of committing "violence against the transgender community."

A protest last Wednesday in Richmond, Virginia, saw people opposed to lifting COVID-19 eviction moratoriums on the grounds that eviction is literal violence. (That idea isn't especially new.)

deandre miles-hercules, a PhD linguistics student, told Vox in an interview that white people asking black people how to refer to black people as a group is, well: "People tune in to this, 'What is the word? Do I call you African American? Do I call you Black? What is the word that people are preferring these days? I know I can't call you Negro anymore! So just tell me the word so I can use it and we can go on from there.' But that lacks in nuance. And that lack of nuance is a violence."

To bring things full circle, consider the recent kerfuffle at The New York Times over Sen. Tom Cotton's (R–Ark.) op-ed calling for military support in quelling the violent demonstrations that peppered some of the protests across the country. "Running this puts Black @nytimes staff in danger," became a popular refrain on Twitter, repeated by a range of staffers at The Times.

To review: not speaking is violence; speaking charitably but clumsily is violence; having an unpopular opinion or providing a platform for one is violence; insisting that both parties honor legally binding contracts is violence; burning buildings, smashing windows, and destroying businesses are not violence.

These attempts at redefinition are not just confusing, they are socially corrosive. In a heterogeneous society made up of an abundance of ethnicities, races, religions, sexual orientations, and perspectives, we need to actively work toward broad consensus not just to function, but to rally majority support for protecting minorities. This process has been and continues to be painfully slow for many members of the American project. In the case of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and countless others, the consensus took too long. They died waiting for their fellow Americans—many of them white—to reach the conclusion that our police are too powerful, too violent, and too unaccountable.

But there also seems to be an emerging consensus that what happened to Floyd and Taylor should not happen ever again. We need to build that consensus until it is reflected in our laws. Does the effort to redefine violence beyond recognition get us closer to that goal, or slow us down?

Bullshit. They don't get to decide what I call them. I say negro when I'm being polite. The rest of the time I call them what they call themselves.

Protests Erupt Across Country; Black Militia Member Accidentally Shoots Comrades In Park
Antifa protests are already heating up across the country after demonstrations began on Friday night

By Zero Hedge Sunday, July 26, 2020

Update (2130ET): Saturday BLM protests unfolded across the country on Saturday, with tensions flaring in major cities including Portland, Seattle, Chicago and Louisville, Kentucky.

In Seattle, the police department – which on Friday announced that they would effectively not be enforcing the law due to a City Council ban on the use of non-lethal crowd control measures – declared a riot, citing “ongoing damage and public safety risks,” according to USA Today. 16 protesters were arrested by Seattle PD for assaulting officers, obstruction and failure to disperse. One officer was hospitalized with a leg injury caused by an explosive, while the crowd launched mortars and rocks at the police.

Crowd continues to throw/launch mortars and rocks at officers near 11/Pine. Police continue to make arrests and work to clear the area.

In Chicago, hundreds of protesters called for abolishing ICE and defunding the police, while chants of “Black women matter” and “Latino lives matter” could be heard.

Meanwhile, dozens of pro-police protesters gathered in Grant Park, where Mayor Lori Lightfoot removed a statue of Christopher Columbus on Friday morning before dawn. Attendees of the “Back the Blue” rally could be heard chanting “We love CPD,” as counter-protesters gathered across the street.

And In Louisville, tensions almost spilled over into violence as two opposing and heavily armed militia groups faced off within yards of each other downtown.

More than 300 members of the Atlanta-based Black militia NFAC, or “Not F**king Around Coalition” came to Louisville demanding justice for 26-year-old Breonna Taylor, an ER technician who was fatally shot by officers in March.

The group came close to 50 far-right “Three Percenter” militia members, who were also heavily armed. Police kept the sides apart and tensions eventually dissipated. Both militias had said they wanted to avoid violence.

The Seattle Police Department announced on Friday that residents and business owners are essentially on their own, after the City Council banned the use of pepper spray and other ‘less lethal tools’ to disperse crowds.

“Simply put, the legislation gives officers NO ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd,” reads a letter from Seattle Chief of Police, Carmen Best – who added that thanks to the City Council, “Seattle Police will have an adjusted deployment in response to any demonstrations this weekend.”

It's a good thing there are so many military veterans in the NFAC. Basic firearm safety shouldn't be a problem at all. whistle

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best sent this letter to the Seattle mayor and city council:

Quote
SPD has confirmed with the City Attorney’s Office that the City Council ordinance banning the use of less lethal tools – including pepper spray – commonly used to disperse crowds that have turned violent, will go into effect this weekend as written.

I am sending this notification for the purpose of ensuring I have done my due diligence of informing Council of the foreseeable impact of this ordinance on upcoming events.

It is a fact that there are groups and individuals who are intent on destruction in our City. Yes, we also have seen weeks of peaceful demonstrations, but two recent events (Sunday, July 19th and Wednesday, July 22nd) have included wide-scale property destruction and attacks on officers, injuring more than a dozen, some significantly.

This weekend we know that several events are planned across the city that will foreseeably involve many of the same violent actors from recent days. There is no reason not to assume we will continue to experience property destruction, arson, looting, and attempts to injure additional officers throughout the weekend and beyond.

With this Council ordinance, we hear loudly and clearly that the use of these less-lethal tools by SPD officers to disperse crowds that have turned violent have been completely banned by City Council.

Under these circumstances, as created by Council, we cannot manage demonstrations as we have in the past. If I am not allowed to lawfully equip officers with the tools they have been trained to use to protect the community and themselves, it would be reckless to have them confront this level of violence under the current legal restrictions imposed by Council.

Some have asked why officers are not arresting those engaging in criminal behavior, as officers do every day, and as they have in recent protests. If it is safe to do so, and even when it places their lives in danger, our officers always directly address criminal behavior. They do this, however, when they know they have the tools shown to allow the safe use of their policing powers. This Council ordinance denies them access to these tools that have been an essential part of their court-approved tactics.

We have clear, court-mandated procedures for arresting individuals, grounded in the principles of deescalation. SPD’s de-escalation principles are premised on the expectation, consistent with policy and best practices, that officers have the full array of approved tools. In large crowds, there is no safe way for officers to effect arrests when their colleagues do not have the tools necessary to protect them.

As City Council’s legislation goes into effect, it will create even more dangerous circumstances for our officers to intervene using what they have left – riot shields and riot batons.

For these reasons, SPD will have an adjusted deployment in response to any demonstrations this weekend. The Council legislation gives officers no ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd. Allowing this behavior deeply troubles me, but I am duty-bound to follow the Council legislation once it is in effect. If the Council is prepared to suggest a different response or interpretation of the legislation, I stand ready to receive it.

Additionally, while the Ordinance by title suggests a limitation to crowd management purposes, the language of the Ordinance, in its blanket prohibition on the procurement and ownership of such tools, effectively eliminates these tools as available less-lethal options across the board. The bill clearly bans OC spray at any rally, demonstration or other event, despite if it turns violent.

After the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, the order was given that looters would be "shot on sight." There was no looting and, as far as I know, no one was shot either.

These days, if you use a firearm to warn away rioters, you're liable to find yourself in jail. District Attorneys can be douchebags, too.

In Minneapolis, armed residents are setting up patrols and blocking off streets.

Quote
Minneapolis residents in some areas still recovering from rioting and unrest are forming community watch and security groups, some bearing firearms, to fight a surge of crime in the wake of the George Floyd killing in May. At least one neighborhood has put up barricades to keep away outsiders.

The moves come as the city council on Friday approved its first permanent cuts to the police budget, amid calls to defund the department and generally lower tax revenue due to the economic strain caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The $193 million police budget will be cut by $10 million, including making permanent some temporary spending measures—including a hiring freeze—put in place in June. Around $1 million from the police budget is being shifted to a program called Cure Violence that tries to prevent things such as retaliatory shootings through community engagement. . . .

Police say the increase in crime follows a pattern seen in Ferguson, Mo., and other places where there have been high-profile officer-involved deaths and protests. Police say that, while some in the city seem to believe police have given up, officers remain on patrol throughout the city.

As riots played out across the city in late May and early June, a group of Black gun owners responded to a call from the local NAACP and patrolled the mostly African-American West Broadway business district for 10 nights, keeping the area free of looting or arson without firing a shot, said Jamil Jackson, a leader of the group called the Minnesota Freedom Fighters, which advocates for Black gun ownership. . . .

Council member Linea Palmisano said armed neighborhood patrols, or even efforts to just keep unfamiliar people out of a neighborhood, opens a Pandora’s box.

“We are lurching for solutions,” she said, noting she doesn’t support the idea of doing away with the police department but supports the idea of letting residents vote on it.

With the neighborhood patrols, “you could very easily create the same things we rally against,” she said.

In late June, residents near a commercial strip that had been looted, and the 3rd Precinct station that was abandoned and burned, were seeing a surge of shooting and drug-related crime on their block.

“It got to the point where crime had no consequences,” said Tania Rivera, 30, who runs a child-care center with her mother. “It was being done deliberately out in the open. Drive-through drug dealing, drive-through prostitution, everything from gunshots to assaults to sex out in the public. Everything you didn’t want your neighborhood to look like.”

So after a number of community meetings, neighbors began constructing a barrier to close off two blocks of their street, first with trash cans, then debris. For a while, a boat on a trailer protected one intersection. Eventually, a nearby iron maker constructed a permanent gate. Police gave their approval as long as emergency responders could get through if requested by the neighborhood.

Neighborhood men also began an armed patrol, kicking out anyone who didn’t belong on the block after dark.

Police declare riots as protests turn violent in cities nationwide; 1 demonstrator dead in Austin

Police declared 'riots' in Oregon, Washington, California and Virginia.

By Bill Hutchinson
July 26, 2020,

Peaceful protests against police brutality and the presence of federal agents at demonstrations turned violent as police in several large cities across the country declared riots, and one protester in Austin was killed in a shooting that erupted during a weekend of civil unrest.

A Black Lives Matter protester was fatally shot just before 10 p.m. on Saturday during a march in downtown Austin, police said.

While police initially said the protester, identified as Garrett Foster, was armed when he approached a car occupied by a man who killed him, Foster's mother disputed the account during an interview Sunday on ABC's "Good Morning America."

Sheila Foster said her son was pushing his fiancee's wheelchair when he was gunned down.

"And this gentleman got out of his car and started firing shots, and my son was shot three times," the mother said.

The gunfire, which was captured on cellphone video, caused protesters to run and duck for cover.

Police said the suspected gunman was captured and was being interviewed by investigators. The alleged gunman's name has not been released.

The deadly violence occurred as protests across the country turned from peaceful to chaotic.

Oregon

Police in Portland, Oregon, declared that a demonstration turned into a "riot" early Sunday when protesters breached a reinforced fence around the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse in downtown Portland. Federal agents guarding the building deployed tear gas on the demonstrators, who officials alleged hurled projectiles and fireworks at the agents.

It was the 59th straight day of protests in Portland and demonstrators have accused federal agents of inflaming violence by using questionable tactics for detaining protesters and dispersing crowds.

President Donald Trump has threatened to send federal agents to more cities to restore order.

More than 100 miles away in Eugene, Oregon, police also declared a "riot" when Black Lives Matter members, protesting in solidarity with their Portland counterparts, clashed with counterprotesters waving American flags and toting signs reading "All Lives Matter," according to police.

Police said they moved in to quell the demonstrations when vandalism occurred to businesses, including a Whole Foods store, and officers witnessed and arrested a man allegedly firing a gun into the air. Rocks and other objects were also thrown at police, officials said.

At least eight other people, including a juvenile, were arrested on suspicion of rioting in Eugene, police said.
California

In Oakland, California, a peaceful march through the city's streets intended to show support for the ongoing protests in Portland erupted in violence late Saturday.

The Oakland Police Department tweeted that some agitators among the roughly 700 peaceful demonstrators vandalized a police station by breaking windows, spray painting walls and shooting fireworks. Police officials said multiple small fires were set throughout the city, including one at the Alameda County Superior Courthouse.

Police said several arrests were made.

Washington

In Seattle, officials said that 59 police officers were hurt on Saturday in clashes with protesters and that 47 arrests were made.

Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said at a late-night news conference Saturday that protests were mostly peaceful until nightfall when some agitators began throwing rocks and explosives at police. Best said one officer was hospitalized with a leg injury caused by an explosive.

Earlier in the day, a dozen people set fire to portable trailers during a protest at the construction site of the new King County Juvenile Detention Facility, police said. Officials also said that windows of cars and some businesses were broken near downtown Seattle as groups of protesters marched through the area.

Police said they were also investigating an explosion that damaged the facade of the police department's East Precinct.

"There, several people emerged from the group and began spray painting and attempting to disable security cameras and a fenced perimeter around the precinct. At least one person breached the precinct’s fence line. Moments later, a device exploded leaving an 8-inch hole in the side of the precinct," police said in a statement.

By 10 p.m. Saturday, police had made 45 arrests, officials said.

Virginia

Meanwhile, the police department in Richmond, Virginia, declared an unlawful assembly on Saturday night after more violence erupted there.

A demonstration billed as "Richmond Stands with Portland" started out with a peaceful march but became unruly as marchers made their way to Richmond Police Headquarters, officials said.

Prior to reaching police headquarters, police said some in a group of mostly peaceful protesters set fires, broke windows and spray-painted graffiti on buildings. Some damage was done to buildings at Virginia Commonwealth University, police said.

— VA State Police (@VSPPIO) July 26, 2020

Just after 11 p.m. Saturday, police tweeted “please disperse or face arrest” while addressing protesters outside police headquarters. Police posted on Twitter images of rocks, batteries and other projectiles they said were hurled at officers posted outside the headquarters that "prompted an Unlawful Assembly being declared."

A city dump truck parked near police headquarters was also set on fire, according to police.

The Virginia State Police said its troopers were helping to protect the police department headquarters when several people who were among the protesters tore down police tape and moved forward pointing lasers and shooting firecrackers.

Police said tear gas was used to disperse the crowd outside the headquarters.

Four men were arrested and charged with unlawful assembly, police said. A 29-year-old man Richmond man was also arrested and charged with rioting with a firearm, while a 28-year-old man from Hopewell, Virginia, was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer and rioting, according to police.

Slightly off topic, but I'm not sure where else to put this.

If a peaceful demonstration "intensifies," what exactly does that mean? Doesn't it mean that a peaceful demonstration became MORE peaceful?

My DA would have to recuse himself as we go back to the days when he first finished law school and joined the office as a wet nose Assistant DA. and I was the old investigator for all the Judges in the Judicial District. I protected his butt a couple of times too and HE knows it.

They are playing semantics to cover their butts from having to prosecute the little 'Peaceful Demonstrators'.

Richmond Mayor Claims ‘White Supremacists’ Infiltrated Black Lives Matter Mob, Torched City in Riot
Mayor Levar Stoney says white supremacists disguised themselves among Black Lives Matter rioters, then destroyed the city

By National File Tuesday, July 28, 2020

The mayor of Richmond, Virginia blamed “white supremacists” after mayhem broke out again in the city over the weekend, as mobs composed of Black Lives Matter and Antifa-linked rioters attempted to storm police headquarters, leaving a “path of destruction” in their wake as part of a planned violent “protest” titled “Richmond Stands With Portland.”

“Richmond stands with Portland,” read flyers distributed via social media ahead of the riot. “F*ck the Feds, f*ck RPD, f*ck VSP, f*ck Trump,” it continued.

“No bad protesters. No good cops. Come prepared, wear a mask, bring water” and “Do what you want, f*ck sh*t up,” the organizers instructed prospective attendees.

After meeting at Monroe Park, the mob began moving toward police headquarters, just under a mile from the park. Storefront windows were shattered while a municipal dump truck and Chipotle Mexican Grill were set on fire, with police declaring the event an unlawful assembly around 11:00 p.m.

The Deep State Democrats accuse Trump of planning a Civil War to retain power after his projected defeat in the upcoming November election.

According to reports from officials at Virginia Commonwealth University, the rioters racked up more than $100,000 worth of damages as they passed through the school’s downtown Richmond campus alone.

According to law enforcement, rioters attacked officers with firecrackers, and by hurling bricks, chunks of pavement, batteries, and other objects into police formations.

“Protestors have tore down police tape & have pushed forward with w/lasers & firecrackers,” reported the Twitter account of the Virginia State Police, whose officers were on hand to assist in defending Richmond’s police headquarters.

After the dust settled on Monday, police say only six rioters were arrested by police. Four of those arrested were from Richmond, with the remaining two from the Virginia cities of Hampton and Colonial Heights respectively.

At a Sunday afternoon press conference, Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney and Chief of Police Gerald Smith attempted to deflect blame for the riot on to “white supremacists” who they claim infiltrated the left-wing mob in an attempt to incite violence.

“White supremacists were marching under the banner of Black Lives Matter,” claimed Smith, asserting that the previous 20 or more days of protesting and rioting did not include white supremacists.

“I would like to give a thanks to Black Lives Matter. It was not them,” Smith told members of the press.

“So, after 24 days, 24 consecutive days of people protesting, what changed last night,” asked Stoney. “Let me tell you what I think changed last night.”

“There were white supremacists marching under the banner of Black Lives Matter, attempting to undermine an otherwise overwhelmingly peaceful movement.”

Stoney recently ordered a series of Confederate statues be removed from the capital city, claiming that their presence now posed a threat to “public safety,” as mobs of rioters and vandals were likely to topple them.

Color me skeptical. Richmond police say riots started by white supremacists disguised as Black Lives Matter.

If this is true - which I doubt - then all those rioters out there should be ashamed of themselves for doing what the KKK wants them to do. If as I suspect it isn't true, then it's proof the riots - er, "demonstrations" - are so unpopular, the authorities want to blame it on someone else.

Quote
Riots in downtown Richmond over the weekend were instigated by white supremacists under the guise of Black Lives Matter, according to law enforcement officials.

Protesters tore down police tape and pushed forward toward Richmond police headquarters, where they set a city dump truck on fire.

Police declared the event an “unlawful assembly” and ordered people to leave, later deploying tear gas.

Six people were arrested. The mayor of Richmond thanked the Black Lives Matter protesters he said tried to stop the white supremacists from spearheading the violence.

“Their mission is simple, not the Richmond we know,” said Mayor Levar Stoney.

Besides the police department, damage also occurred in and around the VCU campus.

I'd like to see those six people they arrested. I really doubt they're white supremacists.

Media claimed the man who ran over a protester with his car was a white supremacist. Turns out he was a black guy from Somalia and was afraid his car was going to be jacked. EVERYTHING you see in the news is pure bullshit.

The Department of Homeland Stupidity is leaving Portland. Does that mean the standoff will end?

Quote
After I covered the clashes between protesters and federal law enforcement in Portland, Oregon, last week, I had a long epistolary conversation with one of the federal officers, to whom I promised complete anonymity, who had been stationed inside the federal courthouse that was at the heart of the conflict.

During a two-hour texting session, we war-gamed how the standoff between Portland protesters and federal forces might end:

Quote
1. The street battles go on nightly for however long until some other issue in the world knocks it sideways.

2. There's a huge uptick in COVID-19 cases that forces state officials to limit protests due to public health.

3. Support for protesters grows so large, the Feds give up and essentially say, We're out. Keep your own side of the street clean, Portland.

4. A rioter kills/severely injures a federal agent and the response is a tsunami of agents cracking down on even the perception of violence.

5. A federal agent kills a protester, even in self-defense, and the already inflamed state of the nation's affairs combusts.

6. An event elsewhere (i.e., George Floyd 2.0) draws national interest and protesters elsewhere.

7. The federal building is breached/damaged enough to force occupants out, and Feds abandon the building.

8. Local officials continue to make a giant mess, trying to shift problems they've spent years letting happen onto Feds.

9. The protesters breach water/electric systems and make the building uninhabitable.

10. There's a full-on terroristic attack with a vehicle against agents/building.

With the announcement today by Oregon Governor Kate Brown (D) that federal agents will be leaving downtown Portland tomorrow, it looks like none of our predictions were correct, though barring backdoor conversations we as yet know nothing of, some combination of 3 and 8 seems to explain the move.

I was at the protests all last week, and I saw no inclination on the part of the crowds to back down. In fact, I saw just the opposite.

Sure, the majority of protesters were peaceful. But the 200 or so that had been showing up in front of the Mark O. Hatfield United States Courthouse every night since the feds showed up (in response to what was said to be local authorities' demonstrated lack of willingness to stop the violence against federal property) were growing in both numbers and tactics.

There were maybe 2,000 people outside the courthouse on Saturday night, with the usual provocations by demonstrators—flaming trash and high-powered fireworks—and responses by the feds, C.S. gas, rubber bullets, and arrests. But there was something else too: a new festiveness, marching bands, t-shirt kiosks, and, beamed onto the side of the courthouse, a high-tech light show with the names of people murdered by police, as well as piggy-faced cops with x-ed out eyes.

"The visuals projected on the side of the building had a pretty high production quality," a friend messaged me. He also indicated he was part of a private message thread where designers were figuring out how to support the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement, which in Portland was getting pretty mixed up with what was happening at the courthouse.

The stream of support was widening, creatives and moms and vets and vendors and any other person in Portland, steeped in BLM-sympathy and/or Trump-antipathy, having a place to show support. There might be no movies in Portland, no concerts, no bars, but there was a show to go to every night, one you could help grow.

It is unknown whether the show will go on. Acting secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Chad Wolf tweeted this morning, "As I told the Governor yesterday, federal law enforcement will remain in Portland until the violent activity toward our federal facilities ends. We are not removing any law enforcement while our facilities and law enforcement remain under attack."

Someone will need to blink first, and, unless things turn truly ghastly, I have no doubt demonstrators will stay as long as the feds do. And when they go, will those who've made the building the locus of their passion and ire pull the building down brick by brick? I don't think so. They are energized to fight against a perceived enemy, and now that enemy appears to be going home.

"DHS got local support," my contact said, as to why the feds are leaving now. "If we don't have to be there because the state and local [agencies] are agreeing to do their job, we aren't needed. It's that simple."

Portland Fines Federal Government $500 For Every 15 Minutes Courthouse Remains Fenced
Official claims city under 'federal occupation' while violent anarchists run wild

By Sputnik Wednesday, July 29, 2020

Portland City Commissioner Chloe Eudaly stated on Tuesday that the erection of a fence around the federal courthouse is a “federal occupation” and announced that the city is fining the US government $500 for every 15 minutes the fence remains in place.

Federal officers were sent to Portland, Oregon, by US President Donald Trump in mid-July to help quell civil unrest and protect federal property, particularly a courthouse that had suffered attacks by violent protesters.

“Typically, we would send a maintenance crew or contractor to remove such an obstruction, but I will not send workers into harm’s way. Yes, I am afraid to direct workers to do their job and enforce our laws against the federal government—I hope that gives everyone reading this pause. As of yesterday, the federal government owes us $192,000 and counting. We intend to collect,” the statement said.

The fence was erected last Wednesday, as a barrier to protect the courthouse from violent protesters, and the Portland Bureau of Transportation issued a cease and desist demand to have it removed, but has not received a response.

Video shared in social media show rioters attacking the fence and federal agents.

Earlier, Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty called for an “immediate meeting” with the leadership of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on the ground in Portland. According to a statement from Eudaly, there has been no response.

Anti-racism protests in Portland have turned violent and some were declared riots by local police, while over 20 federal agents sent to the city have reportedly been injured. As of 28 July, 2 officers were claimed to have been attacked by unknown liquids, but were later decontaminated as a precaution before returning to duty.

Over 22 protesters arrested in Portland over the weekend are facing federal charges, according to the US Justice Department.

As Portland authorities insist that they have not invited federal forces into the city and do not require their help, the DHS stresses that “enforcing federal law is not by invitation” and such agencies as the FBI, DEA, and ATF among others, do not need requests from local authorities.

In the case of Portland, federal agents were deployed in the city by US President Donald Trump, reportedly to protect federal property and help quell the unrest.

The irony here is overflowing. A BLM protester in was stabbed in the chest (why, we're not sure). What do the protesters do?

They yell, "Call the police!"

You just can't make this stuff up.

Antifa Sues Seattle Claiming Police Response Has Forced Them To Invest In Better Riot Gear
“Individual protesters subjected to SPD’s unabated and indiscriminate violence now must purchase cost-prohibitive gear to withstand munitions."

By Steve Watson | Infowars.com Friday, August 07, 2020

Antifa agitators have filed a lawsuit against the City of Seattle, claiming that a heavy handed police response to “protests” has forced the group to invest in more expensive riot gear.

KIRO 7 News reports that Antifa is complaining that police use of blast balls, sponge rounds, pepper spray, and other crowd control methods has meant the rioters have had to buy “expensive” protective gear.

“Because the Seattle Police Department has acted above and outside the law in dispensing its unbridled force, and the City has failed to prevent same, the government effect is to establish a de facto protest tax,” the lawsuit claims.

“Individual protesters subjected to SPD’s unabated and indiscriminate violence now must purchase cost-prohibitive gear to withstand munitions – even when peacefully protesting – as a condition to exercising their right to free speech and peaceable assembly,” lawyers also suggest.

“The continued misuse of war munitions by SPD against civilians turns the streets – a public forum and site of protest – into a pay-to-protest racket where only a privileged few who are wealthy enough or popular enough to crowdsource funds to purchase gear akin to that used by the police department they fund can truly be in the streets,” the lawsuit continues.

Police declared a previous “protest” on July 25th by the Antifa members as a riot.

Close to fifty people were arrested, with more than 55 police officers sustaining injuries. Antifa rioters set trailers set on fire, smashed windows, damaged cars, and threw explosive devices, bottles, and rocks at police officers.

Following this and several previous incidents, the city council has put an ordinance into place preventing police from using ‘less lethal tools’.

Seattle police chief Carmen Best has warned that if the city appeases the rioters, her force will have no way of protecting residents.

“Simply put, the legislation gives officers NO ability to safely intercede to preserve property in the midst of a large, violent crowd.” Best wrote.

There's something called curfew when you need to get control of the streets due to violence. The again, a 300 winmag or 338 lapua might get their attention faster. If the guy has a lit bomb in hand, it seems to me that the rules of engagement should be to stop him from throwing it.

Rioting broke out in Chicago last night. Thirteen officers were injured, and a civilian and a security guard were shot and wounded.

Quote
Hundreds of people swept through the Magnificent Mile and other parts of downtown Chicago early Monday, smashing windows, looting stores, confronting police and at one point exchanging gunfire with officers, authorities said.

More than 100 people were arrested as of 9 a.m., according to Chicago Police Superintendent David Brown. Thirteen officers were injured during the unrest, including a sergeant who was hit by a bottle. A civilian and private security guard were shot and wounded.

“What occurred in our downtown and surrounding communities was abject criminal behavior, pure and simple,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot said. “And there cannot be any excuse for it. Period.”

It took police officers roughly four hours to get the downtown back under control, leading to finger pointing across the political spectrum and calls for the Illinois National Guard to once again help quell unrest in the country’s third-largest city.

Downtown Ald. Brian Hopkins, who said he was on Michigan Avenue from midnight to 4 a.m., described a scene in which officers were overwhelmed by looters and apparently did not have much of a plan for restoring order. He criticized Lightfoot for failing to develop an effective strategy following recent looting incidents in May and June.

“The real question today is, where was the strategy? What was the decision making at the highest levels?” Hopkins said. “That means the police superintendent and the mayor, who’s a very hands-on mayor when it comes to these kinds of decisions.”

City officials said the seeds for the violent crime spree were sown on social media Sunday afternoon following an officer involved shooting in the Englewood neighborhood. Officers shot and wounded a 20-year-old man Sunday after he fired shots at them while being chased, authorities said.

The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center and is expected to survive, Brown said....

As Downtown Chicago is Looted, Mayor Complains About Social Distancing

Lori Lightfoot yet to address last night's criminality.

By Paul Joseph Watson | INFOWARS.COM Monday, August 10, 2020

Lori Lightfoot is yet to address last night’s riots and looting in Chicago, although the Mayor did make a point of complaining about people at a lakefront not properly social distancing.

Downtown Chicago was ransacked by hundreds of looters last night who targeted luxury department stores in response to the police shooting of an armed criminal suspect in Englewood.

After police tried to regain control of the area, they were attacked by the mob, illustrated by the video below which shows an officer taking a blow to the head from a large object thrown at him.

— ᗡoʊbleFromdaH (@doubleg38street) August 10, 2020

Meanwhile, Mayor Lightfoot appeared to be more concerned about visitors to Montrose Beach being too close to one another.

“It’s called a pandemic, people. This reckless behavior on Montrose Beach is what will cause us to shut down the parks and lakefront. Don’t make us take steps backwards,” tweeted Lightfoot.

In case you were wondering, I stopped by to see for myself. It’s being addressed.

— Mayor Lori Lightfoot (@chicagosmayor) August 9, 2020

“In case you were wondering, I stopped by to see for myself. It’s being addressed,” she added.

One wonders what, if anything, Lightfoot will be doing to address last night’s wanton criminality.

Black Lives Matter demonstrators in Chicago previously marched on Lightfoot’s house, demanding she defund the police and order the removal of the city’s Christopher Columbus statues.

A MISGUIDED GENERATION!

Imagine if you lived in downtown Chicago & paid the obscene taxes and cost of living & then this happens. Why bother anymore? Why build anything anymore? This does nothing but hurt the city as a whole. pic.twitter.com/6DmkncA697

The Portland Police Association is warning that "Portland will be lost" if the mayor and district attorney fail to enforce the rule of law.

Quote
The Portland Police Association (PPA) has issued another dire plea to Mayor Ted Wheeler and the new district attorney to change their “insane” riot policies and enforce the rule of law or else “Portland is lost.”

A “disgusted” PPA President Daryl Turner excoriated the mayor and newly installed District Attorney Mike Schmidt, demanding rioters be prosecuted and police be allowed to protect the rest of the citizenry saying, “Portland has had enough.”

He accused the two “failing” elected leaders of backing “insane” policies of letting rioters destroy, burn, hurt, and vandalize “almost to the point of no return.”

Quote
Twice in the last two days, these rioters have accomplished their mission: chaos and destruction. That is because the Police Bureau’s operational direction from the Police Commissioner and City Council is to let the violence escalate almost to the point of no return, and only then can the Police Bureau intervene. That is insane. Police should have the latitude to prevent crime, not watch it happen and only intervene after the fact.

It does not stop there. Although the Police Bureau has made 21 arrests in those two days, I have no doubt that those arrested will get away with their crimes without any consequence or accountability from the District Attorney’s Office.

As Police Commissioner and District Attorney, your primary jobs are public safety, not politics. You are failing.

For more than 70 nights, the city has been under a siege by antifa and Black Lives Matter anarchists and communists attempting to burn buildings, vandalize private and public property, and threaten the lives of Portlanders....

Portland, Day 87. Things aren't getting any better. A lot of shouting, and chanting, and throwing things at each other.

Too long to post here, but follow the link to read it, complete with photos. Here's how it starts:

Quote
C. and I arrive at Justice Center in downtown Portland on Saturday a little after 11 a.m. Unlike the night demonstrations, in which protesters pelt police headquarters with fireworks and flaming trash, the few dozen people this morning are waving American flags and shouting, "Blue lives matter!"

Which is not popular with the crew across the street, who shout back "ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS!" and that all cops must die.

Even the good ones?

"There are no good ones," an Ojibwe boy wearing a medicine pouch tells me.

He cannot name an instance where a police officer has done good for someone?

"You need to step six feet away from him," a kid at the curb tells me—and, regarding my question about the police, "I am going to totally KICK YOUR ASS!"

So good morning from Day 87 of the protests in Portland, Oregon. This one is a little different: It's organized by Back the Blue, a group showing its support for police, support that includes a caravan of Trump-supporting motorcyclists who roar up and form a barrier between the opposing sides....

At this point we have TWO reasons for rioting.

1. Antifa/BLM is doing what they are being PAID to do.

2. Certain sections of our society is looking for an excuse to riot and LOOT.

Christmas is coming after all.

I feel sorry for the blacks and minorities that are stuck in this mess. There are no peaceful protestors any longer. In on the streets and yelling, all have been turned into conspirators to sedition, insurrection, rioting, assault, burning, murder and obstruction of justice. I wonder which side will start the shooting war?

I keep hoping that Barr starts putting the criminals in government and media behind bars for what they've done for the past 10+ years. Cut off the money and support to these rioters. If he doesn't soon, this very may go kinetic before the election.

Suspect in Murder of Trump Supporter: “I’m 100% Antifa All the Way”
Killer was a hardcore leftist.

By Paul Joseph Watson | INFOWARS.COM Sunday, August 30, 2020

The suspect in the murder of a Trump supporter on the streets of Portland last night posted “I’m 100% Antifa” on his personal Instagram page.

A member of the Patriot Prayer group, which was involved in counter-protests against Black Lives Matter and Antifa last night, was gunned down at 8:45pm near Southwest Third Avenue and Alder Street.

A man is heard on camera yelling “we’ve got a Trumper here” before two gunshots blast out.

“I am 100% ANTIFA all the way!” he added.

The suspect also posted numerous other images making it clear that he sided with Black Lives Matter statue topplers and Antifa radicals.

He also liked numerous Antifa pages on his Facebook profile.

Reinoehl also appeared in a Bloomberg video report about the shooting of three leftist rioters by Kyle Rittenhouse, who acted in self-defense.

No prominent Democrat or leftist activist has denounced last night’s murder thus far.

US Homeland Security Secretary Says ‘All Options on the Table’ for Dealing With Unrest in Portland

'We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators,' President Trump adds

By Sputnik Sunday, August 30, 2020

The city of Portland has been engulfed in protests, some of which have turned violent or resulted in looting and arsons, for months. However, local authorities have refused to accept assistance from the federal government to quell the unrest, despite pressure from the White House and criticism from President Donald Trump.

President Donald Trump is ready to provide additional law enforcement assets to any state governor who requests this to cope with the ongoing unrest and riots, regardless of their political affiliation, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has stated.

“We are ready. In fact, the president is ready to make sure that we provide whatever law enforcement support that we can […] We are willing to come in; we are willing to provide additional assets as we did in Kenosha”, Meadows said, referring to the federal government’s help in stopping the spate of violence in the Wisconsin city. The protests emerged after a police officer shot an African-American suspect in a sexual assault case in the back several times after he resisted the arrest.

In a separate statement on the matter, acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf said that “all options on the table” when it comes to resolving the issue of the continuing anti-racism protests, “specifically as we talk about Portland”. Wolf added that this is something that the “citizens of Portland want”, without explicitly saying what precisely that is.

Continued Riots in Portland

Their statements come as the White House continues to criticize the ongoing protests in Portland, which have at times transformed into riots accompanied by arsons, lootings, and deadly shootings. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly accused Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler of being unable to deal with the protesters and slammed him for his opposition to deploying federal law enforcement to change the situation in his city.

“We are trying to help Portland, not hurt it. Their leadership has, for months, lost control of the anarchists and agitators. They are missing in action. We must protect Federal property, and our people. These were not merely protesters, these are the real deal”, Trump said on Twitter back in July 2020.

A month after the protests erupted in Portland, along with numerous other US cities in the wake of George Floyd’s death, the White House deployed combined forces from the Department of Homeland Security, the US Marshals Service, US Customs and Border Protection, and the Federal Protection Service to the city’s federal courthouse tasked with protecting federal property. The deployment and their actions to disperse and arrest some of the protesters were met with harsh opposition from the city’s mayor, who even joined the demonstrations near the courthouse building.

Federal forces withdrew from the city on 29 July after nearly a month, following an agreement between the White House and the Oregon governor, who promised to reinforce the security around federal buildings in return.

Despite most of the anti-racism demonstrations remaining peaceful, Portland still experiences sparks of violence that are purportedly linked to the ongoing demonstrations. Some of the demonstrators set the offices of the Portland Police Association on fire on 29 August, while one person was recently killed in a shooting accident, although it is still unclear if it was linked to the riots.

Now that the rioters are turning their attention to Mayor Ted Wheeler, he might be a little more inclined to end the rioting. Or maybe not. Either way, I suspect the voters in Portland are growing a little more inclined to vote the mayor out of office.

DHS Head: DOJ Is investigating Leaders Of BLM, Antifa, And Financiers

Homeland Security head admits "we know that there is organization", as videos of agitators chanting 'Death to America' emerge

By Steve Watson | Infowars.com Tuesday, September 01, 2020

The acting head of the Department of Homeland Security declared Monday night that the Department of Justice is “targeting and investigating” the leaders of Black Lives Matter and Antifa over violence and rioting in US cities.

Appearing on Tucker Carlson’s show, Chad Wolf also claimed that the feds are going after those paying for the organisation of the rioting.

When asked by Carlson “Why haven’t we seen the leaders of Antifa and BLM arrested and charged with conspiracy under RICO?”, Wolf said he had spoken to the Attorney General personally about the matter.

“I know that they are working on it. Look, we have seen about 300 arrests across this country regarding civil unrest and protesting, violent protesting and I would say, criminal protesting,” Wolf said,

“I know the Department of Justice has charged about 74, 75 individuals there in Portland with different federal crimes,” Wolf continued.

“We will continue to see how those investigations are going. Department of Justice is also targeting and investigating the head of these organizations, the individuals that are paying for these individuals to move across the country,” he added.

Wolf also repeated information from police reports indicating that most people arrested for rioting in Kenosha, Wisconsin were from other cities.

“What we know, Tucker, is that we have seen groups and individuals move from Portland to other parts of the country,” Wolf said.

“We had about about 175 arrests in Kenosha, almost 100 of them were from out of state. So, we know they are moving around. We have seen them in D.C., in Sacramento, and elsewhere. They are organized. We have seen similar tactics being used from Portland and other cities across the country as well. So, we know that there is organization, I know the Department of Justice is also looking at that as well,” Wolf urged.

Amid the violence, videos have emerged of BLM and Antifa agitators in Kenosha and Oakland, California, marching and chanting ‘Death to America’:

Wolf also noted that Joe Biden must be “delusional” for threatening that there will be more violence if Trump is re-elected.

President Trump is scheduled to visit Kenosha Tuesday, after ignoring a request from Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers who said “I am concerned your presence will only hinder our healing.”

Suspect in Portland protest murder killed by feds during attempted arrest.

Quote
The suspected gunman who fatally shot a right-wing protester in Portland last weekend was reportedly shot and killed by law enforcement authorities Thursday night as they attempted to arrest him.

Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, died in Lacey, Washington, where federal agents were attempting to take him into custody for the shooting — the same night his interview on the shooting aired on Vice News, The New York Times reported.

Reinoehl in the interview insisted he acted in self-defense and “had no choice” when he shot Aaron “Jay” Danielson, 39, after an evening of clashing protests in Portland on Aug. 29.

“Had I not acted. I’m confident that my friend — and I’m sure I – would have been killed,” Reinoehl told Vice News. “I wasn’t going to stand there and let something happen.”

Details of Reinoehl’s death were not immediately clear. Police sources had told the Oregonian that he was the subject of investigations into the shooting.

Reinoehl in his interview lamented the direction the country was heading, saying his fatal shot “felt like the start of a war.”

“Honestly, I hate to say it but I see a civil war right around the corner. That shot felt like the beginning of a war,” he added.
