I hadn't considered this. Living in Virginia, I tend to assume that anybody can pretty much buy a handgun, just perhaps with a bit more paperwork than here.
I noticed also that the guy sawed off the buttstock but didn't reduce the barrel length. That's still a lot of gun to hide and walk around with.
Hmm, I also did not know that .22LR is popular with assassins. Everything I've ever heard about the .22LR is that it's a plinking caliber and good for small varmints like groundhogs, rats, and raccoons and such, but hardly a manstopper.
