Al Gore Insists Global Warming Causes Global Cooling

Climate change agenda exposed as wealth redistribution

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Former Vice President Al Gore has exposed the “climate change” movement as an ideologically driven “hoax science” aimed at creating a United Nations carbon tax to redistribute income internationally by insisting global cooling is what we should expect from global warming.

On Thursday, Washington state’s Democratic Governor Jay Inslee warned there are “just 59 days” to save future generations from “an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next.”

Inslee’s rant was aimed to encourage Washington state legislators to pass legislation taxing carbon admissions, a plan voted down by a wide margin by Washington residents in 2016.

“We have just 59 days to do our part to save our children from an endless cycle of crop-killing droughts one year, and rivers spilling their banks the next,” Inslee posted yesterday on Twitter. “To save salmon from dying in ever warming rivers, and our forests from being reduced to plumes of ash”.

As noted by the Daily Caller, the Washington state legislature’s session ends in 59 days, on March 8, and Democrats hold a slim margin in both state legislative chambers.

According to the Daily Caller, Inslee’s plan would tax carbon dioxide emissions at $20 a ton in 2019, that would gradually rise at 3.5 percent above inflation each following year. Inslee’s office estimates it will raise $3.3 billion over the next four years.

In April 2016, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Gina McCarthy told Congress that implementing Obama administration plans to eliminate cheap coal and natural gas power with more expensive energy sources like solar and wind, would cost America $41 billion annually, yet would reduce carbon emissions in an amount so small that it could not be detected.

According to an analysis by the libertarian Cato Institute, the EPA’s own policy model predicts that implementing the Obama administration restrictions on coal and natural gas would reduce global warning 0.019°C by the year 2010, which is also the amount of temperature change a person experiences every second – an amount so small it would be impossible to detect in any global temperature history.

A recent study found that during 2017, 458 scientific papers have been published that cast doubt on the position that anthropogenic CO2 emissions function “as the climate’s fundamental control knob, or that otherwise question the efficacy of climate models or the related ‘consensus’ positions commonly endorsed by policymakers and mainstream media.”
