Says new pro-life bill weaponizes heartbeats

Planned Parenthood claims a heartbeat is an “arbitrary standard” of life in response to an Iowa bill that outlaws abortions if the iconic sound is detected.

Planned Parenthood blasted the “heartbeat bill” passed by the Republican-controlled legislature that is now expected to be signed into law by the governor.

“The bill weaponizes [the] fetal heartbeat, which is by all accounts an arbitrary standard that bans abortion long before the point of fetal viability,” said a spokesperson.

Heartbeats are generally first observed around the sixth week of pregnancy, making this bill America’s most restrictive policy on abortion.

Such statements are nothing new from the pro-abortion crowd.

One abortionist described killing the unborn as “performing medicine” in a now-deleted tweet in which she added fetuses can’t scream as they have no opportunity after she cuts their larynx.

Other abortionists have publicly stated their Christian faith inspires them to continue their trade.

One of those “Christian” abortionists rationalized the ethical viability of the act by saying it was legal for him to do so.

Similarly, Planned Parenthood used a virtual reality simulation designed to garner empathy for expecting mothers deciding to get an abortion.
